A beautiful facility with tons of games and bowling lanes. Food and drinks were fine. The 3 star review is based purely on their "VIP" bowling lanes. We paid extra expecting a more intimate setting with better service. What we got was 10 lanes packed into a small room with the same amount of space around lane as you'd get in open bowling are, and 1 waitress for the entire VIP area. In the 2+ hours we were bowling we maybe got 2 rounds of drinks, and had to go out to the bar to replenish our drinks. Employee was busting her butt, but was left alone to handle way too many customers. Skip the VIP and enjoy the open bowling and bar area. read more

Poor/rude customer service. Incident: Entered the establishment with family, a child of 8 years old was carrying a less than half filled drink from the outside. The child was told to get rid of it in a very rude manner. The server never explained the policy, just rudly said, "Get rid of it now." Server spoke very rude and mean to the child, was uncalled for. This place has so much potential however, the service proves otherwise. We had a group of four with a reservation at 6:30pm. we showed up at about 6:15 (two of us) and waited to be sat right at 6:30. Our server (I wish i remembered her name) approached us and seemed pleasant at first, she got our first round of drinks and we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We ordered the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks, one of our friends asked for mozz sticks to be extra crispy, which our server said they couldn't do. The appetizers came out in a timely matter and they weren't terrible, just your typical fried pickles and mozzarella sticks you'll find anywhere. We waited some time to order our food and once we did, my friend ordered quesadillas, her fiancé ordered chicken nuggets extra crispy, he also tried to order just a simple burger patty. again the server said she had no way of ringing it in and would have to charge for a full meal price for a patty. Weird? restaurants i've worked at definitely have options and are able to modify such things. We brushed that though. My boyfriend ordered the loaded mac and cheese and i ordered a burger with no cheese and bacon. The server kindly repeated the order to us which seemed to be correct. Once our food arrived, my burger had cheese and my friends quesadilla never came out. i told the food runner the burger wasn't supposed to have cheese, he simply replied "ok" and took it back. 10-15 minutes later my fixed burger finally arrived at room temp. At this time we are still waiting on the quesadillas. We asked our server if she knew where they were to which she responded "i don't know" while walking away to another table practically ignoring us. at this point we were quite frustrated with how rude the server was being, she did seem busy but i just don't understand the attitude. She came by once again and we asked her where the order was to which she said "i don't know i haven't been back there to look". we were all kinda shocked by this response as she walked away. we simply had to cancel the quesadillas order due to us having a reservation at 8. it was now 7:40. the server clearly did not care about our experience. She seemed in the weeds, maybe she could've used better training or just some simple help. The bowling was okay, we walked to the bowling area where there is a bar and i see literally the entire well FULL of dirty drinks, i'm talking piles of dirty glassware just sitting there. We arrived to our bowling area to find the guests before us still there basically waiting for a server to help clean the area to which they never came. We never had any service while bowling either. I was under the impression we would have a service during this time. Overall, i would not spend my money here again. I would definitely recommend main event or andrettis over this place. if you do go to pinstack, eat somewhere else before. whataburger is probably better quality. read more

Went for a work function so the private room was nice. Still a little noisy but it's a bowling alley, it's not supposed to be quiet. The staff was really nice and accommodating. Disappointing. We made a reservation on Saturday night at the restaurant within Pinstack and was seated promptly, however, the service is absolutely TERRIBLE. Our waitress greeted us, took our drink order, and returned with our first round of drinks in a timely manner. Upon delivering our drinks, our waitress made a comment about one of our drink orders. She proceeded to tell us that the bartender was making fun of us for ordering a not-well-known cocktail. We brushed this comment aside. After we ordered our food, the server had taken a very long time to bring us our second round (10-15 minutes). When our food came out, one of the orders was wrong and another was entirely missing. We informed the food runner that our burger was supposed to be delivered without cheese and they promptly returned the plate to the kitchen. About 10 minutes passes, and there's no remake burger, or any sign of our fourth missing dish. When we asked out waitress where both dishes were, she passed us by without any regard of our concern and simply shouted "UHH I DONT KNOW" and continued to take care of other tables. Now, as a former service industry worker, I understand that she may have been in the weeds, but there's no reason to have such a piss-poor attitude when waiting tables. We had to ask, AGAIN, where our food was and ended up cancelling the fourth missing dish altogether. When the remake dish finally came out, the burger patty was literally cold. Overall, shitty service, and mid food. Eat before you come. We had a second reservation for a bowling lane and was immediately given shoe rentals and assigned a lane. The party before us was still sitting in our booth wondering when the servers would come and buss their lane table. They confirmed that service was horrible, and they were hosting a birthday party. The only good thing I can say about this establishment is that they have little to no issues on their bowling lanes, and a variety of arcade games. Each game card is tiered at $20 for 100points, $35 150 points, etc. Each arcade game is around 7-12 points if you're not a Pinstack member or something (completely going off my very bad memory ). Probably will not be going back. Impeccable service and food is what makes a great establishment, and unfortunately, this place has neither. read more

The review is for the food. Terrible. It was so dead and the staff was not on point at all. The popcorn while you wait came out after the appetizer. The front desk and waitress had no idea how any of the rewards worked. The $20 burger was the worst burger I've ever had. No flavor, no seasoning and too much going on. It was really dry when I asked for medium well. The bacon wrapped jalapeños on top were the worst I've ever tasted. The wife had the chicken and waffles which were also the worst ever. They try to make it too fancy. It was 4 strips individually on top of hard over cooked mini waffles. The pizza was OK but way too much crust. Crust was crispy and good but inside a lil underdone. Sure enough she was and charged for a souvenir cup. Never was asked if she wanted the souvenir cup, but who cares. Let's over charge and charge for cups. Why Not, no one will notice. Well this momma did. Also, she found a bug in her shake and her friend found one in hers. Most the kids did not like the pizza. Some of the games weren't working. Everything was awesome we saw the location decided to bowl ......we paid since there was a group of 6 ....my husband started to ask me on the drive home what I paid for the bowling when we realized that we paid for weekend rate he contacted PINSTACK to be advised that since it was a HOLIDAY you would pay extra AT NO POINT did they advise that we were paying more just a HOLIDAY no signs were put but basically management well sorry I'll train them better honestly felt like oh well and deceitful .... I came in so excited to eat their cheese fries. When I got them they were cold. They were also so dry I could of used some water. Too bad it wasn't getting refilled. My server kept disappearing and then i looked over and she was behind the bar tending to the whole bar. All the other servers looks as though they were "helping" my server. I went without water for the whole 2 hours I sat there. Margaritas are all SYRUP! Don't do it!!! I asked for wing flavor on the side and my wings came... you guessed it COLD! & out wrong! Had to keep asking for things. Towards the end of the meal noticed a manager. Oh but guess what? He didn't tend to us ONCE! He passed our table of two with empty waters. He passed twice with his empty tray and our plates stacked at the end of the table. He passed three times with our staring into his soul and not once did he stop. You'd think the restaurant part was busy. NOPE! there were maybe 6 couples and 1 6 top family. No clue why it was such horrible service. Okay well let's play games! So we went to play the wizard of OZ game and you get blue tokens (worth 15) red tokens (worth 30) and then cards (worth 100). THEY ONLY HAVE TWO MACHINES to count these tokens. Well one broke while counting my tokens and the poor guy running the prize booth asked for help SEVERAL times. Wanna know where his help was? Running around with swiping their game cards for other people their age. There were two boys in Pinstack shirts with name tags and radios getting called to help. They looked around and went back to flirting. This was just funny, all this to say don't expect customer service. Expect to do it all on your own. Bring your kitchen apron and serving button up. First time coming here for a work event, the facility was nice. However, if you're going to pay good money for any event, the waitresses the servers are not very good. We had a three waitresses and they were all pretty much useless. I guess they're counting on that fixed tip that they get that they feel they don't have to pretty much work For customer service other than just running around and picking up glasses because that's all they did. They were terrible at taking orders, at response time, at follow up. I would not spend good money to have an event here out of my own pocket. read more

DISCLAIMER: Being that this is a new business this review will be based on potential. With that being said Pinstack is a awesome. Location could be better due to limited parking. They are loacted of 410 by North Star Mall in the same area as Alamo Drafthouse. We went on a Saturday night so of course it was bound to be busy plus it is the holidays. I did attempt to reserve a lane prior to the time we went but they were all taken. I do recommend planning ahead because we ended up waiting 2 hours. Which wasn't that bad because we decided to eat at the in house restaurant while we waited. However, that experience was different. They were clearly understaffed or the staff they have in that area are poorly trained. The first gentleman sat us and said our server would be right with us. 3 hours later ....in my Spongebob voice... but really like close to 20 minutes later we finally had service and that was because the table next to us complained about their service and left. Our server was Edwin and I felt sorry for him...he was visible scattered and couldn't keep his thoughts together. He was attentive just spread to thin from the lack of help. We did notice some people in the back that were not busy but not sure what their duties were. We ordered our food and the food didn't take long to be prepared which was great cause by this time we were starving. There was another young man that brought us our food. All I can say about that is he hasn't been properly trained on how to hand off food. Alright...so now we've eaten and are waiting on the lane. I went to check on our progress and the lady let me know we had about 30 miniutes left and after 30 minutes passed we actually got our lane. They have two VIP rooms with private lanes and then 12 regular lanes. Which is the reason why it takes so long to get a lane. Regular lanes are about $45 and or and VIP are around $58 an hour and each lane can accomodate 6 players. They have 2 bars one in the restaurant and one in the bowling area. Arcade games bumpercars from what I can tell. They also have Happy Hour and other specials during the week. All in all this is not a bad place at all....they just have some kinks to work out. We ordered our drinks and weren't seen for about 20min after that. We then called another server to see if we could place our order. Out server finally came and we ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time at around 3:15 we had got our appetizers about 30min after and never received our food. We watched all of the tables around us that sat after us get their food and appetizers and decide to tell our server to please cancel our food as we had to meet with friends at 4:30pm and our food still was not out. Our server was extremely nice but when the manager came out he was extremely rude. He just kept stating "so you're just gonna leave all of that food there it's almost ready?" It was pretty unprofessional as he then proceeded to say "y'all just ordered your food 15min ago, that's what my screen says" when we kept telling him we put our order in over an hr ago. Our server kept apologizing as we kept stating to him it was not his fault as maybe the kitchen was behind or just trying to get smaller orders out. We went the night before Thanksgiving and had a blast! We played bumper cars, laser tag and climbed the rock wall - family competitions are the BEST! It was also half price wine Wednesdays - so we toasted with champagne. We ordered the kingpin pizza - which was as big as the table and the WTF platter - this came with onion rings, french fries, wings, tenders - it was awesome! The service was absolutely terrible we booked the VIP area for a birthday party and got treated like trash our server didn't know how to do her job we waited an hour to get our drinks from the bar the server even told us that the bar was refusing to make our drinks because they don't make any tips so when the food came we couldn't even enjoys it because we didn't have anything to drink not even water Managers had to get involved only for the bar to make our drinks wrong. If it was possible to give NO stars... I definitely would. My friends and I gathered together to celebrate our friends 28th birthday and was ready to have a great time. It started by Zack "the manager " tricking my friend who coordinated everything into buying another lane. We had asked the hostess if we could decorate the table and hang our balloon garland. She asked the manager and they said yes. Zack then comes in with a police officer and an attitude to tell us to "take those decorations of HIS wall" and was very rude and unprofessional. We then decided we did not like how we were being treated and asked for a refund. Zack claimed he could not receive one (after tricking us into buying another lane) and we were put out of the establishment. My family planned to go to Pinstack last night, and we had a delightful experience. We wanted to bowl, but the lady at the bowl desk said it would be an hour-hour half wait, which we didn't mind. We checked out the games in the arcade, and boy do they have so many things going on in there! They have laser tag, bumper cars (it was so fun!), and rock climbing... it gives me Mia Thermopolis vibes every time I see a rock wall hahaha. It's the perfect place for the children & adults to go crazy. You could order food while you're bowling, although we decided to eat in the restaurant during the wait. The servers were awesome & the food was delicious! I think I saw someone walking out with a huge pan of pizza. I received a notification that the lane was ready for us, and we were just about ready to bowl. The sweet lady Jane at the bowl desk has been incredible! She explained to us the difference between VIP and main lanes. She mentioned the interactive bowling experience and we were here for it! Unfortunately, if you have underage people with you they can't be in VIP after 8pm. Btw they have a bar in the restaurant and by the lanes. At one point I noticed her helping out other customers bringing utensils/plates to them, the people behind us with their lane issue, and the people across us wanted to order drinks. She has great communication with the servers & managers. They have cute Christmas trees scattered around the place, and we took a family picture with Jane! They were so busy, but it was definitely worth the wait & the experience! I just wanted to leave a positive ++ review for them because looking at the ones before coming here made them seem inadequate, but other people don't realize they barely opened a month ago so you can't expect everything to go perfect at this second. I have never even heard of Pinstack being from Florida but my hotel was next door. Turns out that I visited on opening day. This is a perfect playground for kids and adults alike. Customer service?? What's that?? It was so bad I want to volunteer to teach a class to this staff. My boyfriend went in to check it out and grab a drink, play games and chill. Went to the bar... literally had three workers look right at us and keep on with their activities. No hello... no we will be with you soon...nothing! After about 7 minutes we decided to walk away but I had to say something to the two employees standing right in front of me!! I said when a customer walks up it's customary to ask if they need help. Then he says "oh can I get you something?" I just walked away.. we went ti the bar in the restaurant... was greeted by a bartender with skinny jeans and an open fly.. like completely opened... wth. After finding the bar to be very limited... we took our margarita and just played games. We just returned home from our first trip to pinstack. The experience was terrible. We paid $145.06 for a VIP lane, we bowled our first lane at 5PM, the lane shut us down @ 6:05. We had to request a server three times, our order was taken around 5:20PM. No one spoke to us prior to that. Our cocktails never showed up. When we asked our server at 5:40 she had forgotten the drinks. She returned 10 minutes later and told us the bartender doesn't have the ingredients to make a margarita. I shifted my order to a beer... when it arrived it was flat and warm. Once we were shut out of the game early I asked to speak to a manger. I spoke to a bar manager who comp'd my $6 flat beer, thanks! I spoke to a woman who said she was an event manager. She told me it was staffing issues and not her problem. When I asked to get a refund for the 20 minutes of bowling we did not get they said it was a computer thing and they have no control. Also, food is one step above middle school cafeteria, except colder when they serve it. So maybe a level below middle school cafeteria. Save your money, go to a neighborhood bowling alley and have a much better time for a fraction of the cost! read more

Was disappointed in this place. I went to try it out to bowl with my wife and we decided on the hour of bowling. After our time was down to 36 min the pins wouldnt reset and we had to wait 15 mine for them to fix it. Once fixed our time was reset but to 34 min, two min lost which I did not really care about it. But then after bowling, once again the pins wouldnt reset. We had to reset it after EVERY single turn. It took a minute each time to fully reset the pins because it was obviously faulty. I went and told a worker and he did not seem to care at all. With just the two of us we couldnt even finish one game in the amount of time we had left. On my way out I told a manager who was not apologetic at all. He just brushed it off even though it clearly made us have a bad experience. All he said was he'd have a tech fix it for next time but no he wont lol.....after reading the reviews this same incident happened to someone else. Don't bother coming here. Main event is much better or for bowling stick to bowlero, Ive never had an issue at these places. Also their lanes are wayyyy to waxed, if you spin it when bowling stay away! read more

First time here. My best friend and I had our friends date night here tonight and loved everything about this NEW spot. The entire staff from the host, bartenders, and server (hey jaz) were super friendly and even talked to 1 of the managers. Food wise everything was amazing. The only 2 reviews on this NEW spot don't do it justice. Well tequila at an arcade spot isn't a vibe girl, step it up please! And to the person complaining about the bacon wrap jalapeños, I'm a fan of bacon wrapped jalapeños I definitely wasn't disappointed. Now as far as the staff not understanding the point system I will say it was confusing for myself as well and I'm tech savvy. So I can understand how an older couple struggling to understand technology will have a hard time figuring it out the app. That review was left days after y'all opened but Rome wasn't built in a day! I only see this spot becoming the next main event. We skipped bowlero to check you guys out and definitely didn't disappoint. I've seen this place blowing up on social media, so when my company planned an event for team bonding, I quickly accepted the invite. Since it was already planned, getting what I needed upon entry was a breeze. I simply stated who the company event was for and I received a wristband. I was then given directions on how to find the VIP bowling lounge which were so simple to follow. I appreciate the girl at the host desk who gave clear directions because it would have been so easy to get lost. So again since this was a group outing, we received two drink tickets and a small buffet with an assortment of delicious appetizers and entrees. The mac and cheese balls were yummy, the chicken and waffles were pretty good, it was served with melted butter sauce and warmed maple syrup to drizzle on top of the waffle which was a little hard on the outside but softer on the inside. They even had a little green onion garnish to them. The chicken was just regular chicken strips but pretty huge-sized. The mashed potatoes were creamy and garlicy and maybe just a tad bit too salty, but they were still enjoyable with the rest of my plate. The food overall was just slightly warmer than room temp. The drink tickets only allowed you to order beer, wine and wells drinks. You can order other drinks such as the cocktails they have and top shelf but they would be on a separate tab. My co-worker decided to do just that. We went to the bar just around the corner from the VIP lounge and she tried to order some drinks, but the bartender was so rude and didn't give my friend a chance to order anything. She felt discouraged to go back up to the bar and ask for anything else. We decided to ask someone else to help us and we ended up asking the manager for help. Jesus accommodated us so well and we were able to order drinks without any attitude. We were given game cards and were able to use them on several of the games. The bumper cars and laser tag was a blast! If you see a huge line outside of the bumper cars, don't be discouraged because the wait is only about 3 minutes. The bumper cars do have a seat belt which I never figured out how to put on accurately, so i was expecting the attendant to go around and check that everyone was securely fastened, but that didn't happen, so I had a "seat belt" just around my arm. It made it pretty uncomfortable but it was ignored since i was having so much fun bumping into my co-workers. Laser tag was next to it so we jumped on that as well. They had some pretty unique arcade games in my opinion like the hot shot which is a big version of the hoops and they also had connect four hoops. There's a monopoly game that you can spin the dice to win tickets depending on what you land on. Lots of VR games to play. I will have to come back and try the rock wall and the high ropes and definitely do the bumper cars again. This place is lots of fun and will make you feel like a kid again. Overall, the experience was amazing, despite the rude service we encountered. If you come here just for the games, I don't suspect any problems since it is kind of self-serve, you can just load up points on your game card and play until it runs out. I am not sure exactly how much it costs to load points. I have seen some people say that the prices do not match the online price so just be weary of that. read more

Dave and Busters has many of the same games without having these problems. I Wanted to order food but the girl at the front counter said the kitchen closed an hour before it actually did, so as I'm leaving I see people being served food I would have loved to have ordered.
