We celebrated a Friendsgiving at PINSTACK and chose to rent a VIP bowling lane, which worked out perfectly for our group. The added privacy and dedicated server were well worth the extra cost. The food was excellent, and we were having such a great time that I didn't even get a chance to take photos. We ordered a variety of items, starting with the large pepperoni pizza--easily some of the best pepperoni pizza I've had. We also tried a smaller vegetable pizza; the crust on that one was a bit thicker than I prefer, but it still had great flavor. I opted for the blue cheese burger, which was absolutely delicious, and the fries were outstanding. My strawberry lemonade was a bit on the sweet side, but still enjoyable, and everyone really liked their beer on tap. One minor inconvenience was trying to load money onto a game card. The kiosk was out of cards, and I wasn't aware that I needed to go to the bowling desk. I waited about 15 minutes at the front for assistance before learning this, so just a heads-up--if you run into any issues, head straight to the bowling desk. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Pinstack. I planned my wife's birthday here for a Tuesday and had 10 people coming, only to find out they were closed for a private corporate event. The biggest issue? There was absolutely no notice on the website. Nothing. No banner, no alert, no heads-up when checking hours. That's not a small oversight--that's a major failure in communication. When people are planning events, especially something as important as a birthday, they rely on accurate information online. When I asked about it, I was told "corporate controls that." That's honestly not a good excuse. If corporate has control, then corporate should also be responsible enough to ensure closures like this are clearly communicated to customers. This isn't complicated--it's basic customer service. Because of this, I had to scramble last minute to find another place for my wife's birthday, which completely changed the experience we had planned. Pinstack markets itself as a fun, organized entertainment venue--but this situation felt unprofessional and careless. You can't run a business like this and expect customers to just accept it. At the very least, update your website or post alerts when you're closed for private events. It's the bare minimum. read more

My family of 5 came to celebrate my dad's birthday. We reserved 1.5 hours of bowling. Towards the end of the second game, I could tell we were going to run out of time before we could finish. We asked twice for 5-10 extra minutes, not comped, just to finish our game. Both times we were told no because there were waiting reservations. Our game closed out when we were halfway through the 9th frame, with 9 empty lanes on either side of us. Terrible customer service for what had been a really fun evening. Drinks were alright, a little watered down and too sweet (we ordered a ranch water, 2 Cadillac margs, and a house marg on the rocks). Prices were good. Appetizer plate was good! 0-1 stars for customer service, 3 stars for drink quality, 5 stars for lane service and all plate (outrwaitress was awesome, very attentive and friendly). read more

Just finished up my first visit to pin stack and overall I think it's a cool place that offers a lot to do for both kids and adults, but i found it slightly over priced. For $5 to rent a pair of shoes, and through the help of a nice person working the desk, I thought we were off to a good start when paired with the cool low-light neon atmosphere and more than 20 lanes. So if you are going for bowling I think it's worth the money and you get a good value for your money and time. I also liked the mechanical bumper system that automatically raises and lowers based on player preference. That made it easy for kids and adults to play on the same lane. However, I thought the food middle of the road in terms of taste and expected better quality based on the price. They allowed me to order an off menu milkshake for my son but they don't have different sizes, so $10 for a giant milkshake my son was only going to take a few sips of was a little annoying given they didn't offer smaller sizes. The burger was okay and the kids chicken tender meal was very basic. I was also surprised that they didn't offer any juice. Even McDonald's and Whataburger offer organic apple juice with their kids meals these days. In terms of the game area, tons of options from VR to a Rock climbing wall, but the cost to ticket award was rough on my 4 year old when he played games for over an hour and at the end only had enough tickets to get two tiny bags of m&ms and a single Swedish fish. I came here this past weekend with some friends to have some fun. This place is big with room for many activities you can do. They have bowling on one side where you can rent for an hour or few and there is a bar nearby to order whatever drinks you want. They have the game area where you can play whatever you like. From the claw machine to bumper cars, rock climbing on the side and looks like above the room you can do a obstacle course. You do have to put money on a card to get tokens (pay $2 for a new card) and any tickets you win would be sent to the card so dont need to carry anything. The games were decent some were fun like the shooting game. Other games can be a bit unclear what to do and you essentially lose like the ring toss or the claws (not the best to grab items). They have a restaurant area too with a bar you can sit and relax. It took our server a while to do alot of things. It was 15 minutes before we were seen and given menus, another 15 to get our order and took time for him to get our order and even our receipt. The place wasnt really busy in the restaurant area so was surprised that it took so long for him to come back everytime. I ordered a grown up grill cheese with brisket and tomato soup on the side. I wasnt really a fan of the sandwich it seemed bland or not enough flavor. The soup wasnt anything special and after I ate my stomach started to hurt. Even one of our friends wasnt feeling well after and got sick. I think this place isn't bad if you go for the games and maybe the drinks, but I wouldn't come for the food. OVERPRICED and many Technical Issues, it's ridiculous. Went bowling for an hour with the family, and we couldn't even get one game going without the lane and it's mechanical hardware NOT working due to either pins not resetting or balls stuck in the return shoot. They moved us to another lane and we probably hit reset more times than we bowled on that lane as well. Then you have to hurry because the High Rollers have their appointment times for lanes. I'm thinking why have a bowling alley if it's just reserved and not open to first come first serve? We wasted money for an overpriced hour of not even bowling between the waiting on balls or pushing reset for lane to be cleared. Then we made purchases for the kids to play games and for food. Food was good, a bit sloppy thrown together, and a bit overpriced, probably the better part of our time there. Here's a question for the corporate folks. If I'm using your card recharge booth which is not easy to use, why am I having to add my receipt into your app to get credit on reward points? if I'm using your system, does that make sense? Needless to say (but I will) we spent hundreds of dollars and couldn't even get complete rewards points because they INCONVENIENCE YOU by having to enter YOUR OWN receipt into their app within 24hrs or you GET NOTHING. Again, why have all of this technology which is an inconvenience, where's the enjoyment in that? We've been here twice once for a Birthday and for our own families enjoyment. I think we'd have a better time, more to do, more space at places such as Main Event, Pop Stroke, heck even the neighborhood bowling alley makes it a better experience. We want to like this place because it's convenient for us to drive there. What other reasons would make us want to go back? I'm not seeing the value, the maximum benefit to cost experience. If you want a great Food, and Fun place for Adults then make it exactly that. It's a nice looking place, outside and in, but it needs ATTENTION with its internal parts. read more

This new location of pin stack it's near the rim. We have been to pin stack before but we were super excited to try this place that's closer to us. We went for a girls night, plus +. When we arrived we got cards for the games and were a little confused as the kiosk made it seem like we were charged twice. We did try to ask the front desk about it but she said she couldn't help us and redirected us to the Bowl counter. I needed up checking my bank account and it was fine. We went up to the bar in the back and grabbed drinks and then played some games. We then went to the restaurant to grab food. It was pretty quiet So I thought we would be served pretty quickly. It took about 15-20 minutes for someone to come take our order. Then about 20+ to get our food. Two out of 5 of us got stomach aches and threw up. The main complaint was the taste of the food, and upset stomach. We did visits the prize area and walked away With some cute stuff. Overall I would say come for the games, bowl, and drinks. I didn't get anything big to eat but those who did complained about it. Service in that area was terrible. Everything else was good. As always, judge for yourself. read more

A few months ago, our company organized an employee engagement day at the Pinstack on I-410, and I decided to bring my team to the I-10 location for some fun. I called ahead to inform them that I would be bringing around 20 staff members for lunch and games. While they took my information, no one followed up, and they weren't prepared for our large group on October 7th. Upon arrival, the host appeared puzzled by our reservation, but quickly scrambled to accommodate us. They seated us on the patio, where pesky flies made it difficult to enjoy our appetizers. Our server, Esteban, claimed he could handle a group of 20, but he seemed annoyed when we asked for assistance, even telling a colleague, "He only had 2 legs." Instead of asking for help, he tried to manage on his own. Additionally, he handled the straws before placing them in our drinks, which I find unacceptable and unsanitary. I ordered a variety of appetizers: Chips and Salsa, Mozzarella Sticks, Signature Mac and Cheese Pops (which were bland), and wings in Parmesan, Buffalo, and Korean BBQ flavors (the Korean BBQ and Parmesan were tasty, though slightly burnt). I also ordered a larger Hot Hawaiian pizza for the table, but it turned out doughy and thin. When we tried to slice it, the center caved in. Two of my employees returned their Fish Tacos topped with strawberries, saying they were dry and tasted off with the sweet strawberries. I tasted one, but couldn't connect fish and strawberries and thankfully, Esteban did remove those from the bill. Overall, the food was just okay, so we opted to load up on game cards. However, our host forgot to activate the cards for most of the team, leading to some confusion. Update: Hi Steven, Thank you for reaching out about my recent visit to Pinstack. I have been to the new Pinstack location by The Rim twice, both great experiences. The first time I went with a group of mom's to celebrate a friends birthday. We went on a Monday night and they had great specials. We bowled and ate for $17 per person. Then I went with a work group to celebrate the holidays. We went in a Thursday afternoon. We got 3 bowling lanes in the VIP room and it was wonderful to have our own area! We ordered almost all appetizers (boneless wings were everyone's favorite) and some pizza. If you're looking for a cool place to hang out with a more "adult" vibe- this is the place. It is "family friendly" but not Chucke Cheese! The Rewards Program is pretty decent. You load cards with money that turn to points- each arcade game costs a different amount ranging from 5 credits to 30. They have Laser Tag, Bowling, Rock wall and a good amount of cool video games. Collect tickets to win prizes from their store and I was honestly surprised with the huge choice of prizes. They have a great menu as well! We tried a burger and fries. Really enjoyed it. The fries were crispy the burger was as good but for me missing any kind of condiments and there was no lettuce or tomato- I may have been able to ask but maybe next time. Food is an absolute disappointment. Mac N Cheese balls were cold in the middle and are honestly all noodle , don't get it. Wings are probably the best thing on the menu because they are the typical bar food wings . Pizza tasted like they forgot to cook it with the mushrooms and they added it last minute cold before serving. Please go elsewhere before arriving here for arcades and bowling . Hands down the best experience at any Family entertainment center our family has had. We have been to every big name event center and this was the best experience by far. The waitress took 15 minutes to come take our order and she had to come back twice to take our order. Then we got half our order. Everything is cold, one of the worst burgers I have ever had. I had to go to the bar to find salt, and as of now it has been 20 minutes and no fish tacos. If I could I would zero stars Manager came and explained that that was our servers first day and apologized for the slow service.
