The service was good overall. It was a busy time as it was the day after Thanksgiving. The kids enjoyed themselves a lot and so did the adults. There was something to do for everyone. The folks who partook at the bar really enjoyed their drinks. This is a pretty neat place for the entire family. Nice graphics and cool places to sit when you need a break. I didn't have any food here, so can't speak to food offerings. There was a 2 hour wait for bowling so that was a bummer.

    Inside PINS -- Saturday, 25 November 2023

I visited Pins Mechanical Company for the first time in the Ohio City neighbourhood of Cleveland on west 25th street in November 2023 with my friend Lesly after we had dinner at a restaurant nearby. We had a ton of fun playing some arcade games. It's a big establishment and I visited on a Saturday evening so it was packed with people. I like crowds so this didn't affect me. There is a huge TV on the main floor with comfortable chairs/couches. I enjoyed catching a glimpse of a basketball game while there. GAMES -- There are numerous arcade games that are FREE to play in the lower-level (downstairs) and there are also games that cost money. I enjoyed playing Pacman which is a maze game. I noticed a ping-pong table on the first floor right by the entrance but there were people playing and I couldn't wait that long for them to finish playing. At one point, two people joined us to play the giant Jenga game which was fun. DRINKS -- I don't drink alcohol but my friend ordered a cocktail which she enjoyed (I forgot the type of drink). I got a non-alcoholic cocktail (virgin drink) but I forgot what kind. I remember that it was a sweet drink. The bartender Tyler and a woman were helpful and friendly. I will certainly be back with friends. PINS is a great way to socialise with friends both old and new while having fun playing games. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 35/150 total reviews in 2024 - 685 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2024

We returned to Pins on a Friday evening, and it was considerably more crowded. We put in our names to play duck pin bowling and were texted about 15 minutes later that our lane was ready. I do get a kick out of these cute little lanes with the cute little balls and cute little pins. The resetting process is oh so cute as well. Everything is as neat as a pin (did you see what I did there?). Anyway, I improved my score from the previous outing. And thusly did I earn another Dukedom.

Pins Mechanical is a huge place with two floors, lots of arcade games, pinball, bowling and more. It's a good spot for outings with large groups. Tons of TVs and lounge areas to watch sports. Nice list of craft brews and cocktails. No cash at the bar, only cards. Nice new pinball machines that are well maintained. Pinball takes quarters and most machines are $1 per game. In a very trendy neighborhood with lots of nearby restaurants like Nano Brew. Pay to park.

Service was spot on, drinks were delicious and the environment was clean! Atmosphere was rad. Tons of free old school arcade games, giant Jenga, pinball, and old school bowling. Plenty of space to just stop in and chat with friends. Will definitely come back. Parking can be found next to the building. Thanks Cleveland!

Pins Mechanical seems like a new and fun place in Ohio City! It's huge and the vibes make you reminiscence on your childhood with pinball machines, big connect four games, skeeball, giant jenga, cute aesthetically pleasing light up signs and ore. There are multiple floors and is a great time/place to go after eating at a nearby restaurant. I personally didn't get any food here, but outside of that it seems like a great place to chill with a group of friends, play retro video games, play duck pins, and watch a game.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time with another couple doing duckpin bowling. We love this type of bowling compared to regular bowling since I have back problems. They don't offer food, however, they do have a drink menu. My husband liked their beer list, however, I wasn't a huge fan. I really like different types of Belgian quads and tripels which they didn't carry. I also like various dessert stouts which they also didn't carry. The service was just okay as they were really packed. We've come here at various times of day, and they've always been packed. That said, we often can't play most of the games with the exception of the duckpin bowling, which usually has a wait time too. It's a really cool atmosphere with lots to do, however, we just don't usually get to do it because of the crowds.

Great place to party with friends and family of all ages. They let you bring in your own food! But drink their beverages. Terrific selection of beers on tap, and quality bourbon. 5-star is missing because the bar is terribly slow. Avoid all cocktails. They are too busy on a Saturday to do them right, and there are plenty of other options. Some of the staff are amazingly energetic and having fun. Kudos to the skinny bearded waiter that kept a great attitude under pressure.

Looking for fun for the whole family? Check out Pins Mechanical Company! Located downtown it's a great stop for friends, family. dates, or specialty events! This arcade style bar is open concept with a multitude of free arcade and yard games game play! From treasured classics to new and modern there's something for everyone! If you're a local you already know and if you are just visiting, be sure to stop in! Lots of unique and fantastic drink options with daily drink specials & kids options from the many multi level bars, friendly staff, and duck pin bowling for $6 per person! A perfect family spot with mostly stool and high top seating. Make sure to bring your own food/snacks or order a pizza next door as they do not have any food available but allow you to bring your own! We had so much fun!

We go here at least once every couple months! Great drinks, and lots of fun games to choose from. Duckpin bowling is so much fun, and there aren't many other places nearby to try it!

VISIT THIS PLACE! The arcade is free and there's an abundance of great games! Duckpin bowling was a bit of wait time, but they have a great system for it. Drinks are so fun!!! We'll definitely be back. This place speaks to my childhood all the way to my current age! What a great addition to this area!

Stopped in to check out Pins today and it is so cool! I would highly recommend. The old school games on the first floor had us hooked for about an hour and then we went downstairs and noticed the bowling!!! Yes we had to try it and it was a blast. I'm sure we missed a lot so we will definitely be returning

I had the BEST time at Pins Mechanical last Saturday as a group of us celebrated a friend's birthday! Can you believe this was my first time at any of the Pins Mechanical? Well, it was and boy, was I impressed! The space is massive, which is good because it stays BUSY! I was there for over 4 hours and the fun never died down. Most of the activities are absolutely free and there's a ton of arcade machines to choose from. Our party hung out for a few hours while we waited for our reservation for two bowling lanes. The place was busy, sure, but never so loud that we couldn't hear each other. Bowling was fun as well. I was terrible at it, naturally, but this isn't the type of place bowling professionals visit. I'm notoriously cheap when it comes to paying for drinks but didn't feel like the prices were too bad here. I got a $5 non-alcoholic slushie as well as a $12 "Carrie Fisher" - a rum, coconut drink with a large stick of rock candy on top. Can you tell I like sugar? Haha! I'll be visiting the Pins Mechanical in Columbus soon and that location has pinball machines! I can't wait!

But yesterday my wife and I decided to get involved with the festivities in Gorden Square/Battery Park. So on a brisk but sunny day we drove down to Battery Park in Cleveland and visited "All Saints Public House" for a tall glass of Guinness and a dish of Cabbage and Noodles topped with a Bratwurst. The Battery Park area is a wonderful part of town and a fun place to visit. "All Saints" is a great ethnic bar/restaurant. It's dark, moody, warm, full of awesome people, and just a great place to be. The lady and gentleman that waited on us were really great and made us feel right at home. We sat and talked and watched "Gone with the Wind", drank a wonderfully satisfying Guinness (on tap), and ate some of the best Cabbage and Noodles I've ever had, with an excellent Bratwurst on top. Turns out, Dyngus Day is a load of fun... and I'm still not sure what it is?

We ordered beers and as luck would have it, I was able to order their last available rack of ribs for the evening (my go-to barbecue item)! We also got some beef brisket and a few sides to share. Overall the meats were tasty, but there were a few issues with the meal. The ribs had a nice dry rub seasoning on them and were quite tender. The brisket also had a good bark, but was a tad dry. In terms of available sauces, the Kansas City sauce was thick and tangy, but the Proof sauce was not good at all...I just could not put my finger on what about it I didn't like n its flavor profile. The coleslaw was shredded with vinegar and quite dry, the mac-n-cheese was only semi-gooey and the fries (although tasty) were limp from being undercooked. Bottom line was thumbs up on the meats and thumbs sideways (or down) on the sides. Wil most certainly give them another try as I am a BBQ junky, hoping the outcomes are slightly better.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.
