    Cola bbq wings
    Amy J.

Fantastic crispy beer battered celery root. Very mild flavor but like a less crunchy potato chip. The wings are average in size but fall off the bone tender and come in some unique flavors like cherry cola bbq. My alcoholic milk shake had no hint of alcohol but was still a fantastic peanut butter chocolate flavor. The steak was meh. Mostly tender. Cut into slices. Nice peppercorn size and okay French fries with some rosemary which adds a nice flavor profile. The roasted Brussels sprouts with it were excellent especially with the Parmesan on top. The chicken skins were salty and fine overall. Very crispy but not too hard.

We visit Cleveland once a year and always make sure we visit Good Company. You just won't find better chicken wings. Anywhere. The service is always on point & it's in cute Battery Park. I also love the fried chicken skin, but sometimes they need a little salt... just being honest!

"Good Company" fries - nothing good about them. Cold and from a bag = $7

Very disappointed - subpar food and ridiculous prices. Sparkling rose was flat and $7 for a basket of fries that were cold and obviously from a bag. I asked for a side of ranch to be able to enjoy them. Never came - but they were willing to take the ranch off my bill. 1 drink, 1 burger, 1 side of fries = $43

BEST WINGS IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.... The $13 is worth it... I PROMISE!!! So I had been hearing a lot about this place and finally decided to give it a try and boy am I HAPPY!!! Our bartender Emma (I hope i remembered correctly) was the sweetest & created such a great vibe! She also helped us pick our wings and even made a special beer for us (10000000/10) it was almost like a michelada! We had the tavern style, pecorino garlic, and dad's hot sauce blend...and when I say they were all DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! I truly do not think you can go wrong.... It was a tough pick but the tavern style wings were the tanks favorite of the 3!!!!! It was so hard not to ask for all of the flavors... but I most certainly will be back soon the try them all!!!!!! I 1000% recommend giving this place a chance, even if it is a "little pricy" for the wings... SO WORTH IT!!

Easy to see why they were voted Best Wings in Cleveland by Cleveland Scene & Cleveland Magazine! Every bite and sip was perfection! Walking into the good company, the vibes are great for a Friday night with diner like tables. Appetizers are on the pricier end, only about $2 cheaper from the main burger. I was told the celery root wasn't that great, but trying the bonzo balls for myself... they were great. Almost like a falafel ball and the sauces were great. The good burger overall was ok. Overall average experience and may come again just for the vibes.

Good food and good company, the foundation of any great restaurant. Fortunately Good Company provides ample of both, along with being supremely located in the Battery Park neighborhood, a stone's throw away from Edgewater. Did I also mention that they have a free parking lot? The restaurant is playful but trendy, and manages to appeal to both the sports-fanatic (TVs behind the bar) as well as the friend who's a better person than you that doesn't eat meat. While their dinner sandwiches like the Gabagool are what put them on the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives map, I'm a staunch believer that Good Company's brunch can throw down with the best of them and could potentially be better than their dinner?? The crowd pleasing breakfast burrito comes in both meat and vegan options, and you can even savor their winsome 72-hour chicken wings in the mornings too. Their wings quite literally fall off the bone, and are evenly coated with whatever delectable sauce you choose - don't skip them. Any of their smashburger variants also hits the spot. Not super hungry? Snack on the pretzels or loaded fries. Their desserts and shakes are quite popular and can be packaged to go, but somehow my stomach never quite makes it there. Service-wise, everyone is friendly but not overbearing and generally leaves you be once you order. That's not to say they don't care about the customers - take a look in either of the all-gender bathrooms and you'll see them stocked with feminine hygiene products and even a changing station.

Argentinian steak sandwich. Excellent, but it could have used more steak.

There's a lot to like here. I like the casual vibe of the place. And, the service was excellent. My wife and I both ordered the Argentinian steak sandwich. The chimichurri was excellent, and I asked for more on the side. I liked the bun and the toppings. The only problem was that there wasn't very much steak in the sandwich. But, the sides were phenomenal. There weren't as many fries should've been, but they were excellent. I will definitely come back here for the fried chicken skins, if for no reason. Seriously: I might just eat nothing but this next time, and then check myself into a hospital after I have a heart attack. But, it will be totally worth it. They were that good. We came here about a half an hour before closing time, but they were cool enough to let us stay without trying to kick us out. I would definitely come back here again when I have more time.

Our server Paulina and the host were so sweet. I had no idea this place was featured on Guy Fieri's list of good places. My party of 4(2adults and 2 kids) enjoyed the specials starting with the Wings. We decided on the sweet and spicy bbq dry rub, the Gabagool with a beef patty which gives Potbelly sandwich vibes, and the Good One. This former alley turned restaurant is special as they have a homemade applesauce for kids. It tastes just like apple pie filling. My 2 y/o ate a hamburger for the first time here. The poppyseed bun did not phase her. I love how everything is made in house and the menu items feel intentional.

When a friend sent me the menu, I had to come check it out. Everything looked so interesting and cool but the fried chicken skins is what brought me in. The restaurant isn't located on a busy street or near any foot traffic outside of the local residents so even if you happened to find yourself in the area, you would still almost miss it. I don't eat red meat so I never got the chance to experience pork rinds, but I always wanted to. The skin of baked/fried chicken is probably my favorite part so I was super excited to try the fried chicken skins. They did not disappoint and they came with some really good pickled celery. Our server was very friendly and recommended drinks and food to try. The playlist was on point, and I loved the diner feel of the space. I tried a smoky Mezcal margarita drink with tajin around the rim and a reposado tequila infused with chamomile cocktail. Both were amazing. The wings were so tender and cooked to perfection! They are marinated for 72 hours. I didn't get a chance to try the alcoholic milkshakes they have, but that will be on my list for the next time!

Wings w sweet and spicy seasoning
    Ailin J.

Wings were fantastic! Not surprised they're award winning. I've never have wings where the meat was falling off the bone. My favorite was the sweet and spicy bbq rub which gave the perfect combo but not too spicy so I could easily keep eating. Fries came out super crispy on the outside but soft in the inside and the dry hot seasoning on it brought it to a whole different level.

Ask the Community - Good Company

    How's the noise level inside?

It depends on when you go, but the layout is such that you're not hearing the noise from the back of the restaurant at the front so it's pretty manageable. If you're going with folks who are harder of hearing we'd suggest coming during less busy… Read more

How capable are they at preventing cross contamination with gluten (for people with celiac and gluten allergy)?

The short answer is not very. My celiac friend had a salad with no reaction. However, their fried foods are prepared in a shared fryer. I wouldn't trust their other menu items. They are no gluten ingredients but I wouldn't say they safe for celiacs

Do they let dogs on patio?

    Yes.

My friend Mike later joined me to hangout. Vibrant and lively sports bar showing women's and men's sport games on several TV's. I gave a 3-star rating because I was disappointed that upon my arrival, the only TV in the main area playing the women's tennis final match at the U.S. Open did not have the volume playing. The volume was on full blast over a speaker for a men's football match. Showing men's sports was fine with me but as a women's sports bar, they could have at least tried to get sound for the women's tennis final match. I asked a waiter about putting the tennis match volume on the main speaker so that we can hear the match but she said that the other TV's are the only ones that play sound. FOOD -- There is lots to choose from appetizers, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and flatbreads. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread which tasted delicious. It was small and cost $15 which is a bit high. TV's -- There are about 8 TV's stationed throughout the bar. I sat at a small table at the entrance and watched the Women's U.S. Open tennis match from the 1 TV that was showing the match. I was excited to watch the match but there was no sound. The only sound playing was for a football game going on. This was surprising because the bar is a women's sports bar so one would expect women's sports to be highlighted on the sound system. LOCATION -- On Detroit Ave. next to the Welleon apartments. SERVICE -- Good and standard. I was greeted upon walking into the bar and then a waiter came to my table to hand me a menu. If you don't drink alcohol like myself, you can still have fun here by watching sports and ordering some food. I may be back if I know that I can watch a women's sports game here and actually hear the game. Hopefully they have fixed their TV sound issue. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 22/250 total reviews in 2026 - 863 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 13 April 2026

The crowd ranges from busy to minimal and we received pretty good service both times. It can be kind of difficult because there are typically 10 of us so I think we typically have to wait a bit, but they do a pretty good job handling us. This place is very divey but still enjoyable. They have an assortment of vintage hanging lamps above the tables and that is my favorite detail. They have had some kind of music going on every time that we go, which I think would be fun if we weren't there for book club. I definitely want to come back here a time when I'm not discussing a book lol but the music is never too loud that we can't have a conversation. We are always here for happy hour and they have some great options. I always end up getting the $5 wine. They also make an excellent girl dinner with their house fries (basically Parmesan truffle fries) and chicken caesar salad. I have gotten this every time and I will continue to get it because it is perfect. I definitely suggest Wine Dive if you're looking for a fun easy place to go for happy hour!

A little elevated, but still a dive. They have a large wine list, including bottles, wine by the glass, and some draft wines. The place is pretty spacious. I believe it encompasses the old El Carnicero restaurant and another bar that must have been next door. Seems like that took down a wall to make a really big spot. They have two bars and a small stage for bands, etc. The real surprise was the food. We just got a few things to snack on and couldn't stop. The sweet chili fried cauliflower was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best fried cauliflowers that I've had in a long time. It was super crunchy with just the right amount of sauce. It was not soggy at all. We also got the popcorn. I forgot what the seasoning on it was, but it was addictive. Last we got some truffle Parmesan fries. They came with two sauces, one was a spicy mayo and the other I can't remember. Both sauces were great to dip the fries in and the large Parmesan pieces were a delight. Definitely a cool place in Lakewood to host an event or see a show.
