My fiancé and I found this place while eating ice cream across the street while on vacation. We had a great time playing hookie, air hockey, and bowling. We are very competitive so this was right up our alley. There is a bar inside and the music was good. Service was cool. Bathroom was clean. We had no issues. read more

What a great place to hang out! Tons of arcade machines to choose from -- all on free play -- plus a great selection of beers. There's also bowling, skee ball, and hookie, which made it even more fun. I went with a bunch of coworkers, and we had a blast. Playing some of the arcade games from the '80s really made me feel like I was back in high school. This huge arcade bar was a fun spot to spend some time while exploring the area. All the arcade games are free to play and we got to try some good classics. I loved that they have skee ball, which isn't a game I see often. The murals, decor, and details were really fun, like the big Scrabble tiles under the bar, neon signs of retro movie quotes and song quotes. I also really liked the design of the bar menus, too. The specialty cocktails we tried were super sweet and not really something I'd need to try again. One side of the bar has all the arcade games and the other side has duckpin bowling, foosball, bocce ball, and a ring toss game. This is a great spot for a date night or fun evening out with friends. The space is large and didn't feel too crowded even though it was pretty lively on a Friday night. read more

"Free" arcade bar??? SIGN ME UP! I went on a Monday night and it was petty much empty with some people trickling in and out. Skee ball? All day babyyy. Tron? They gotchu. Everything on the top floor seemed free and the bottom floor seemed like the more premium paid stuff. My favorite? Go to the corner near the washrooms on the top floor and play Off Road with the steering wheel. It's stupid fun, very easy, and simultaneously two players lol. Monday night is amazing with half off Duck pins and free after 8pm tho! 2 bucks off beers too so it just keeps getting better. Some of the games could use some love like Galaga doesn't shoot as fast which is quite frustrating and is located near lane 12. Great selection of beer too but it's a tiny bit pricey. I'm okay with that because the games are mostly free hehehe. This plays hard to be one of the coolest places I have seen in a long time!! Sadly, they only have drinks, I wish they had food, but free video games is nothing to complain about!! Not only are the games free, but they're iconic from when I was a kid and teenager! All the employees were incredibly helpful and walked around as you played asking if you needed another round of drinks, not to interrupt your game/winning streak! SO MUCH FUN! I wish we had a place like this at home! Had so many fun and cool old arcade games. There's also bowling, pinball, jenga, sets, available to play. Such a nostalgic place of games to be! Drinks were named fun, they had 90s boy bands night of music theme. They don't serve food but allow you to bring food from neighboring restaurants. If you're going to drink the Game over. Be care. Free. All of the games here are free, which is pretty amazing! This is a great space to hang out. They have two floors full of things to do. The bar here is great, as they have a really wide variety of beers. It seems slightly more expensive than the average beer in Cleveland (around $9-10), but I'm sure some of that premium is baked in since all of the games are free. Overall, great selection of games. They get a lot of use so there are some machines that have malfunctioning buttons, but I'm not complaining. Outside of arcade games, they also have other activities like ring toss, bowling and etc.. Super fun arcade and bar with a ton of different games. This place is perfect for a date night or just a night out on the town with friends. Most of the arcade games are free, which is awesome. They also offer bocce ball and duck pin bowling for a nominal fee. There are two bars. No food or kitchen but you're allowed to bring in outside food which is cool. They have a pretty nice beer and cocktail menu and even a few AF mocktails which I enjoyed. I look forward to returning. read more

I went to check out the new location in Ohio City while it's not all that new anymore last time I went to 16 bit was when it was still in Lakewood. This new location is a collaboration with Pins Mechanical. The location is 2 floors there are 3 bars and a nice patio. I did partake in the food menu, but the arcade games are all free they have some cool Bally's retro arcade games and it's a good place to go with some friends. There is street parking right out front on W 25th. The service was also great while they were very busy I didn't have to wait long at all for a drink. read more

Absolutely terrific place. I would give 16 Bit and Pins Mechanical 100 stars if possible! It's such a nice place with a beautiful atmosphere. All arcade game cabinets are free which is wonderful, any everything else is super inexpensive! All cocktails $10 (even though they're super elaborate), duck pin bowling is only $6 per game, and pinball machines are cheap too! I love that 16 Bit connects to Pins Mechanical which makes it easy to wander around and stay for hours, and aside from the main games they have things like jumbo Jenga and checkers all over! Huge varieties of seating too. Overall there is such a high attention to detail; neon signs, great unique drink varieties, branded signs all over the establishment; even the "employees only" signs are on-brand and playful. No detail was missed. I will say, they don't serve food, but that's okay! If they did it would be more like a dave and busters with massive amounts of seating, people waiting around, and food smells. The space they could've used for a kitchen instead gives us the chance to play even more games! I seriously couldn't recommend this place more. Can't wait to go back for my birthday! read more

This bar is so fun! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. The first thing you'll notice is how clean it is and how attentive the staff is to everyone's needs. You'll find new games around every corner and have fun trying their unique drinks (which are very well made). I will be coming here again and bringing more friends along. read more

THIS IS THE WORST. if you've ever experienced the Columbus pins it's much better. No kids running around and spacious. I went there today it was like a chuck E cheese so all the parents can drink and keep their kids occupied. It's absolutely ridiculous. The last time I went there were kids playing around not respecting me and my husbands space. The parents did NOT care what sos ever until their child fell and busted her lip open because she was playing on a stool. I wish I could give this place 0/5 stars because it is NOT an enjoyable time. At least make the no kid policy after 4 pm. So adults can actually enjoy their time without random kids running around, screaming, and bumping into you. THIS IS NOT A CHUCK E CHEESE. PLEASE NEVER GO HERE IF ITS A DATE AND YOU DONT HAVE KIDS. Also kids after 9PM is terrible. There are SOOO many homeless people out at that time and it's very uncomfortable. read more
