After the big mess in the courtyard, I had to find a company to reconstruct the courtyard, who better than the company which originally built the courtyard? Cesar Jimenez is not only one of the contractors which I work with, but he is one of the best contractors in San Diego County. Cesar is the contractor who originally built the courtyard (read my past review about C&R Pavers). To the detail, Cesar built this work of art, exactly according to my specifications & design. I don't post photos because I don't want people to copy my designs. I am an obsessive-compulsive perfectionist & Cesar passed my test; therefore, once more I hired him to fix his own work of art! I called Regina (The Better Half & the R of C&R Pavers) to send Cesar (The Worst Half & the C of C&R Pavers) to my estate to fix this mess. Even though they are busy with big jobs, but she made room to take care of me, after all, no job is too small for them. Big job, small job, they will make you happy. Fastest Contractor this Side of Rio Grande As I stated in my previous review of C&R, Cesar is the "Fastest Contractor this Side of Rio Grande" (literally). I granted him that title & I even refer to him as "Speedy Gonzales"! He is my only contractor who actually finished the job ahead of the schedule! This time, he could not break his record, but it is not his fault. It is the rainy season & the rain delayed his work. They had to stop work when the rain started. So, Cesar came over with 2 of his best workers & started on the job. For big jobs, Cesar drops 10 workers to finish the job fast (like originally building my courtyard) but for this job, he only needed 2 workers. Cesar ordered the Angelus Pavers from Rialto, California. In one & half days (before rain started) the workers finished the paving. After the rainy days, on the third day of work, to make it up to me (due to the delays), Cesar came over himself & he re-sanded, pact, swept, cleaned & sealed the pavers himself. I could not ask for a better worker. The boss himself had done the finishing touches. In my previous review of C&R, I vastly explained about their quality & system of work. Over here, I only state that C&R Pavers works speedy, hard, clean & hands you a detailed finished job. I hire a lot of contractors, but until this day, Cesar is one of my best contractors. As usual, he stood up to his reputation & fine work. It was good to see Cesar again & it was the correct choice to hire C&R. For outdoor construction from patios, driveways, grill islands, full kitchens, pool deck pavers, fireplaces, fire pits, pillars, columns, walkways, all the way to building complete front courtyard (as he built for me), C&R Pavers is the best construction company to work with. Why you ask? Fast work, clean work, detailed work & reasonable prices. You can't beat that. I know I can always count on Cesar to do a perfect job for me, you can do too.

They even worked on Saturday in order to finish on schedule and left the yard orderly each day. The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.
