VERY disappointed with the service tonight . Ordered at 7:12 , waited till 9pm , I was starving . The delivery man was very rude to me ... he wouldn't allow me to hold the pizza box without signing , when all I was trying to do was help him. I opened my box and was even more unimpressed , and I would have sent it back, however, by thing point I was starving! I attached a photo of my order , and a picture of what my pizza slices looked like . They were a mess. I order Parmesan cheese ... didn't get any . And on one half there were onions , which I didn't order at all. And really the whole pizza looked as thought everything was just thrown on here in a rush! Also, my $5 salad. Which i paid extra for EXTRA Gorgonzola cheese ... well , I got goat cheese , and very little . But maybe someone made up for that by adding sun-dried tomatoes which I didn't order . Floppy and wet - that's how I'd describe their pizza. We ordered the Veggie Supremo pizza, cheese pizza, and cheese sticks. The sauce was bland and a bit sweet, but not unpalatable. Unlike Romano's, the toppings were fresh, so I appreciated that. I do not like canned vegetables on pizza. The cheese was poorly distributed, so some pieces had almost no cheese, and and others had too much. The main problem was that the pizzas were soggy. Imagine having your pizza prepared, and then soaked in warm water for a few minutes prior to serving. That's about what we got at Pink's, mushy, limp pizzas! The cheese sticks were okay, and they weren't soggy. I'm guessing that their sauce has a high water content, and they used too much of it. I really like pizza. But most of all, I really like great pizza. I had been craving pizza for about two weeks now and kept seeing Pink's Pizza reviews pop up on Yelp. Saturday, I found myself craving pizza again and with my mom and sister went to find this little pizzeria. We entered the address in the Nav and off we went. When we made it there we noticed the place was very small, and simple. No extravagant decor, well to be honest there is NO decor at all... it's just a regular pizzeria. We went in and grabbed a Menu. We decided to go for a 20" Freshetta. The Freshetta pizza has garlic, sun dried tomatoes, feta, spinach, bacon, marinated chicken breast, and fresh tomatoes.... yummy! My taste buds danced in delight as the superb taste caressed every inch of my mouth. The ingredients were very fresh and the flavor definitely proved it. I loved that pizza. My mom and sister also liked it a lot. My sister also ordered bacon cheese stix, which were good. I personally don't mind that the pizzeria itself didn't seem to have any "personality." Although I expected to see pink everywhere or at least some cute little decorations, I actually enjoyed my Pizza enough that I can say the pizza definitely makes up for the lack of "visual enhancers." Another thing worth mentioning is the "Pizza Insurance" for $.50, haha! With pizza this good I may just need to get it next time! read more

I think I've found my favorite pizza in town. With pizza names like "Bada Bing" and "Rocko" you'd think this place was all hype. We went with the Deuce (Goat Cheese, mozzarella, spinach, portabello mushroom, roma tomato and garlic with pesto sauce). Complicated no? It was a true delight and even aesthetically pleasing. The flavors were plentiful and masterfully executed. Gourmet without the pretentiousness! The place is very small, situated beside a Sunny's, but it has it's charm. It's mainly a take out pizza place, and close by, which is perfect! They are really expensive, especially when you have to do add ons. Customer service was quick and we were able to place the order online. When we got home, my boyfriend's Hawaiian pizza was mostly cheese and pineapple. There were small strips of ham, but under the cheese and few and far between. My gluten free and dairy free one was super dry, which can happen with a gluten free crust. But, cardboard may have been less tough. They used what seemed like Daiya, which is the better cheese. I'm not sure if it was me not usually eating pizza, or if there was something wrong with it, but my stomach woke me up during the night and was still not normal, today. I appreciate the gluten free and dairy free options, as well as the topping options, but it's priced way too high (mine with add ons was $21 for basically a medium pizza). read more

After a meeting with our accountant -- which actually went really well (thanks for asking!) -- we decided to make the drive from the Bellaire area to the Heights, so that we could try out Pink's Pizza. Thankfully, I had read that it was right next to some place called "Sunny's," and this kept me from blowing by, as Pink's is tucked into the corner of a small 2 (or 3) store lot. Our first impression was "uh-oh," because we were both thinking Pink's was going to be more of a restaurant-type place, not just a little bitty pizza "joint." There were only two tables outside, and two inside -- but we drove here, we read it was good, and we were going to go for it. THANK PETE WE DID! The guys inside were ridiculously friendly, and one guy told us to let him know what we wanted when we were ready (he was busy assembling another pizza, while the other guy was rolling out dough). We told him, he committed it to memory, and we took a seat at one of the two tables inside. While we waited, we took note of how clean everything was (which, if you read my reviews, is ALWAYS a big deal to me (and it should be to you, too)). The guy rolling and flipping the dough wasn't wearing gloves -- which would be difficult, obviously -- but the other guy assembling the pizzas was. That's always nice to see. While he was building our lunch, I was able to spy loads of fresh vegetables and other toppings, kept under cover until needed. We were impressed with the neatness and cleanliness, for sure. As for ambience while we waited, the place smelled delicious. Fresh dough and cooked toppings made for a wonderful whetting of the appetite. The only ambiance issue that I have with Pink's is that it's just so small. We have a big extended family, and there's no way all 8 of us could ever eat there without standing around (the tables are only large enough to hold 1 pizza, really). But, I don't think Pink's has the intention or desire to exist as a "sit-down" eatery, so there you have it. By this time, our pizzas were delivered to our table in their boxes, and we were advised to let them rest for a minute since they just came out of the oven. I gave mine 5 seconds, then I opened her up. I ordered the Supremo, and my wife had the Classic. Sweet mama, they were great! You can see a picture of my pizza attached to Pink's Yelp page, and 3 people said the same thing: "it's like a work of art!" Yes, a work of art in appearance *and* flavor. For starters, the toppings were blatantly fresh. The sauce, while being a "sweet-ish" pizza sauce, was well balanced with everything else on my pizza (and I'm not a sauce fan at all, even). There was a perfect amount of cheese, as well. Basically, the guy that built my pizza knew what he was doing, and he had Pizza Assembly 404 in the pocket. My wife's was equally well executed. Both of us were particularly fond of the crust: it was well flavored, firm on bottom, yet somewhat doughy around the edges -- just the way we like it. There is no doubt in my mind that if I lived in Pink's delivery zone -- or within 10 minutes of the establishment -- this would be my go-to pizza spot. The only downside, being someone from out of town, is that the place is so small to be rightfully considered a "restaurant" per se -- but that just means I'll get my pies to go and eating them in the parking lot. We will most assuredly add Pink's Pizza to our food repertoire while out and about the Houston area. You should, too! read more

Pink's Pizza is a Houston-only business with 8 locations scattered around the city. This one is located in a strip mall and has a low-key, working class kind of vibe to it. There was a dude tossing floured dough up into the air behind the counter as I ordered, so you know they make everything fresh. We ordered a 16-inch "This Guy" pie, which was the right amount for my wife and me, though we're pretty big eaters. The crust wasn't super thin, nor especially thick, and it had nice burnt and charred edges with a texture between chewy and crisp. The "This Guy" features prosciutto, rosemary chicken, goat cheese, mozzarella, spinach, mushroom, tomato, and roasted garlic (we opted to get it sans Italian sausage, as we though the meat would be too oily and overpowering). The ingredients were all super fresh-tasting, especially the blistered tomatoes, and the combo hit the right balance of salty, sweet, pungent, and nutty. I'm fairly certain that if we had gotten to eat the pizza hot out of the oven rather than 20 mins later, I would be giving Pink's 5 stars right now. One day soon hopefully! read more

Good pizza. I've only been here once but pizza was awesome. We ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of pepperoni, mushroom and hamburger. Price was nice, $3.50 a slice (cheese), plus .50¢ per topping. Only complaint is it is more of a takeout type setup, only a couple of tables (literally 2) so don't plan on eating in. I recommend they should build a bar in front of the widow to seat people facing out and maybe in the wall to the right besides a couple of small tables to seat 6-8 more. Just a thought. I come in here all the time, I live within walking distance but literally every time I come my order is messed up but I still always tip at LEST 35 percent because I use to work in the service industry so I know the struggle. But I finally call for the first time to complain that my order was messed up (even though it's messed up every single time) and they say there's nothing they can do about it because they "couldn't find me in their system" needless to say I won't ever be coming back here again and hopefully you won't either. Went to Pinks for the first time ever.Ordered the smaller "Bada Bing" and some wings + a sprite 16oz for $25.My eyes opened up a little bit on the prices but i'll try anything one time.
