I ordered online from here last Sunday. My pizza never showed up and it was over 2 hours. I tried calling the store and there was no answer so I found and email online and tried that. Well, this location had lost their power from the storm that blew through. The lady who answered online apologized and said the manager would call me when the power got back on. Here's why this place rocks. 1. The manager immediately called me (as promised). 2. Even though his day was probably terrible, he was incredibly professional and polite. 3. He took care of me for my trouble (even though it was out of his control). 4. The pizza got delivered 20 mins later. 5. The driver was incredibly kind and polite. He also was having an awful day because he works off tips and lost several hours of his day. Just wanted to say thank you. The pizza is awesome, but that service was perfect. read more

Bunch of idiots! I placed an order at 7:30 PM. Called at 9 PM to see where my order was ---it was running about 30 minutes late. They inform me that my order is still there. I explained that it was a delivery order -I even paid the delivery fee and the tip. They then proceeded to tell me they made a mistake and delivered a GrubHub delivery and kept mine for pick up. They further went on to explain that the person who had the exact same order for pick up was complaining that they forgot a fork with her salad that they delivered? Then they offered to have me wait another 45 min to an hour because no more deliveries would be made until that time ??!!! Seriously .. they "offered" to deliver a salad and pizza that has already been sitting out since 8:30pm at to be delivered at 9:45 .... which was ordered at 7:30pm????? None of which made sense ... this was the 3rd try I've given this place and they always make mistakes and don't really care. Good pizza .. a bit overpriced ... but have not been dependable since they opened. The owner needs to work on hiring better people with service skills. read more

I see a lot of complaints about the service here but it just looks like stop and go kind of place to me. Can't really expect high quality service at a counter service pizza shop. Could he be a bit more friendly? I'd say yes but it doesn't bother me much. We were told 10-15min It probably too 20-25min Ordered 2 slices of pizza (added sausage & jalapeños) and some wings. Slices had a good amount of cheese on the and was slightly crispy. Mmmm so good! When I first open the box of wings I was concerned because I didn't see any sauce in it. Thought maybe they forgot. Pizza was ok, EXTREMELY overpriced. Usually I don't care to pay extra, but I expect to be given a decent amount of food. Ordered 2 pepperoni slices for $9 and some change. When I opened the box I saw 0 pepperoni. I went back inside to ask why, the lady said there is 5 pieces of pepperoni under the cheese. First time I've been to a pizzeria that gives barely any pepperoni and paying a premium price. I was in the cold cut business for 10 plus years, at most they are paying 4.99 a lb, I'm guessing closer to 3.49/lb, and with there tiny pepperoni pieces they are probably getting 200 (low estimate) pieces per lb. Absolute joke. Will never be back. Premium prices, I expect to have that pizza COVERED in pepperoni. read more

Ever since I moved on to this side of town, I'm within walking distance of this particular Pink's. Some nights you just don't want anything fancy, or even wearing pants. So you can slap on some shorts and just swing on by Pink's for a high quality pizza. I've had their per slice options and they crank them out pretty quickly. If you order a whole big pie it can take up to about 25 minutes. Some of my favorites are the southwestern and Hawaiian. You can always do half and half so switch it up and try them all. read more

Five years ago, I tried Pink's Pizza for the first time. I thought it was one of the best pizzas I had since moving to Houston from New Jersey. The staff was awesome and the ingredients actually tasted close to authentic New York style pizza. Fast forward to this past weekend; the staff was lack luster, the pizza was horrible! A day after i posted my review, I received a message from the Customer Service Representative Ken who apologized for the burnt pizza. He encourged us to give them another chance as Pink's Pizza prides itself on customer satisfaction. He offered 2 large pizzas for free to replace the burnt ones. Today, March 24, we picked up our pizzas and before leaving I opened both up and they were perfect. When I got home the first thing I did was take a bite of each slice and they were delicious. You can taste the oregano, sweet sausage and all the other ingrediants. The pepperoni pizza was spot on. This is exactly what we were expecting the first time we ordered Pink's Pizza. They really are top notch pies! We will definately order from Pink's again. Thank you Ken for doing right by your customers. read more

Super rude people in here. Looked me right in my face but never said hello "Welcome to Pink's" or anything. This was my first time here and will definitely be my last. 3 people all doing nothing but speaking to one another and nobody acknowledged our presence. If I could leave no star I would. No one ever came to assist me or offered a menu or anything. Poor customer service *** update 01/22 After leaving my not so nice review I was contacted by Ken to apologize for the lack of customer service. Ken went above and beyond to make me feel like I should give Pink's a second chance, and I definitely will. He was so genuine and warm lol. I can tell he's an awesome guy and we've never even met. I've been here a few times now. I ordered my custom but simple pizza online about 2 and a half hours ago. Keep in mind I'm a few minutes past the time the pizza is supposed to be ready. This pizza has been paid for and should be as much of a priority as any other pizza that's been paid for. It really defeats the purpose of ordering and paying ahead. I also ordered mozzarella cheese sticks. Both of these items are just now being prepared. I'm pretty disappointed. Edit: I've been here for 30 minutes and they haven't even started on my ordered. After being a customer at the West University Pink's Pizza location for a year and a half, I had such a horrible experience with the young manager on staff yesterday that I will never frequent any of their businesses again. It turns out that some of the employees were discounting my vegetarian pizza slices, and I didn't even know it. When this young manager took my phone order, the total seemed extremely high! I asked why? He said because of the additional toppings. I asked the price without those toppings, which seemed to annoy him. Before I could say I would be up to pick up the slices, he hung up the phone on me. I walked up anyway, only to be greeted with rude questions about what the names of the employees were who had given me the discount that I didn't even know I had? I said I didn't know and if I did I wouldn't tell him, because I don't want to get them in trouble. He smirked and said he would find out anyway, but I'd still get my pizza. I said I didn't care about the discount, but cared about his rudeness. I asked for the manager's number, and he smiled and snarkily said that he was the manager. I asked for the area director's contact info. I found out later by calling another store that the name he gave was false. But before I left I told him to keep the damn pizza. He yelled an expletive at me, and I couldn't take it anymore and finally cussed him out. He was still yelling at me as I left. I called another store asking to hear back from management, but have heard nothing. No matter how good their pizza is, I will never frequent Pink's Pizza again. Ever. read more

I'll be honest...I didn't want to like their pizza. Last thing I need is another pizza place vying for my attention...I already have Dolce Vita, Pizza Bella, Grimaldi's and Pizaro's. I found myself disagreeing with comments that said the pizza took a long time, or that the crust was tasteless. The crust had a slight, but pleasant, sweetness to it. It was kind of "new york" style, which I really like. I had a single slice of the Marie, minus the rosemary chicken, and no pesto. Apparently all their single slice pizzas only have tomato sauce base as the option. It was delicious though, so I didn't care. Also, our slices and our friends' whole large pepperoni were out in less than 10 mins. Pretty good timing. Yes, $5 may seem a lot for a large slice of pizza, but it has good quality ingredients, and is tasty enough to entice me again. Way better than any other pizza by the slice. read more

I called to order delivery and they told me to use the website. I then ordered on the website and it said that it would take an hour and 15 minutes. I still went through with the order. After the order was 20 minutes late, I called them and they said that I could come pick it up. I told them that I am a single mom with kids and couldn't leave my house and the guy said "that isn't my problem." This might just be the BEST pizza in H-town! Blaze is/was my favorite...... To be honest I can't compare the two because they are in two totally different leagues.
