Pepperoni and honey pizza, golosa pizza

Such good pizza!!! The tomato sauce is fantastic, the cheese and the crust are perfection. The owner makes a fantastic dough for the pizza and paninis. The crunch of the dough is perfect. The pizzas are perfect for one person but small enough that you can order a couple to try different ones. I just wish there were more hours!

I don't typically feel compelled to write a review for any particular place, but Chef Andrea changed my mind. You can immediately tell when you talk with him that he carries a deep passion for his food and truly cares for every one of his customers. We got there early in the morning around 10, and we were their first customers for the day. Walking into the gate, we were met by the sweetest waitress ever. She took the time to really make sure we were taken care of, even though she was the only server. Whether if it was explaining the menu to us or just simply checking up on us, she got the job done. One of the kindest services that you will see. While we were waiting on our food, Andrea (the owner) came over to our table and thanked us for stopping by. He explained how tough it has been ever since one person left a bad review, which according to him, was not even true. I cannot believe how anyone would ever leave a bad review after getting to know how friendly Chef Andrea was. Even if it was true, I'm certain based on his personality alone that he would make things right. On top of such outstanding service, the food made everything even better. First off, I love the fact that all of their prices on the menu are very reasonable. With the help of the waitress, we got their two most popular pizzas: the Burrata and Matriciana. Both were amazing, especially the Burrata, which was our favorites. The arugula in combination with the creamy burrata cheese really enhanced the flavors. My personal favorite part were the pizza dough. By far one of the best I've had in Houston. The dough was baked incredibly well. Super airy, light, and crispy. We also got their coffees and maritozzos, both of which were good, but definitely pales in comparison to their pizzas. Our experience at ORG Pizza Garden was one of the best we've had in a while. It is probably in contention for one of the best pizzas I've had here in Houston. Even though this place is quite the trip for me, with how amazing everything was, I will for sure be making my way back here.

    Indoor seating

Finally made it to ORG Pizza Garden and so glad we did! The burrata pizza was SO delicious. Maybe the best pizza in the city for me. I loved the fresh ingredients and the crust was wonderful, of course. I wasn't sure about seating and didn't want to sit outside. The indoor seating was great. The owner is so friendly and wanted to be sure everything was enjoyable. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items.

The food here is wonderful. The Burrata pizza is light and fresh. The Panini is a bounty of flavor. One of the best little places for a Sunday lunch

Peach ice cream with balsamic sauce & honey-roasted peanuts. Plenty to share. The cup is deep, although you can't see that here.

Excellent meal, nice people, quick service. I arrived ~11am with no wait and plenty of seating, inside and out. Had the burrata w/arugula pizza and the peach balsamic ice cream. I could eat only half of each and took the rest home for dinner. I've been reading about this Sunday-only place on a local foodies group, and my expectations were high. The real-life experience did not disappoint. The crust was perfect, the ingredients fresh. The ice cream was unexpected, and I liked it. Soft and creamy, not as fluffy as whipped cream, but it kinda strikes that chord. The peach taste was not super strong through the creamy taste, and yet it was really, really good. I had a 20-minute drive with leftovers, and I was afraid of the ice cream melting because of that soft texture, but it made it just fine. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors, and I'm going earlier next time to try to snag a berry maritozzi before they're sold out. Yes, this is a pop-up style place in a warehouse-type parking lot, but the outdoor picnic tables are shaded and there's a nice air-conditioned indoor seating area, too. It's not a glamorous set-up, but it's plenty comfy. Sunday mornings are made for this place. The "warehouse" is where they make the frozen pizzas sold via Spec's downtown and other places, the waitress told me when I asked. Gonna have to try those, too, for non-Sunday morning eating. Lol Can't wait for dinner leftovers. Literally... I've already snuck a few bites of each, so I'm not sure the leftovers will last until dinner. :-) I was so intent on eating, I neglected to take pics outside of the ice cream (after a couple of bites!) and the current menu. Oops.

    Burrata and Arugula Pizzetta

This place is fantastic! I had a tasty Burrata and Arugala pizzetta, and an excellent farciti, which was like a pizza-bread stuffed with prosciutto and brie with balsamic glaze. For dessert I had a delicious maritozzo, which was a light pastry sliced down the middle then smeared with cream and topped with nutella. Friendly service and true Roman cuisine.

    9/25/22 menu.

GO EAT HERE. I had the special panini which was DELICIOUS, next time I'll ask for it in pizza form The dough is perfect. Too bad only open on Sunday.

Delicious Roman style pizza cooked in an Italian oven. The panini is super yummy freshly baked dough stuffed with prosciutto, mozzarella & arugula. Matritiana pizza is a rich tomato sauce with bacon, mozzarella and grated pecorino. They have hand made pastries & homemade ice cream which is rich & creamy. The pizza place is a pop up style serving delicious treats only on the weekends! You can also get espresso & cappuccino! Come for breakfast or lunch they are only open from 9-2pm.

Frank's Pizza -- Downtown Houston's Late‑Night Legend…read more Frank's Pizza isn't just a slice spot -- it's a downtown ritual. A Houston rite of passage. The kind of place that feels like it's been feeding the city since the moment concrete hit the ground. 417 Travis Street glows like a beacon for anyone who's ever stumbled out of a show, a shift, a night out, or a long week and needed something honest, hot, and foldable in their hands. The first thing you notice at Frank's is the size -- slices so wide you have to negotiate with gravity. New York‑style, thin crust, fold‑and‑go masterpieces that hit that perfect balance between crisp bottom and chewy bite. And they don't hide behind gimmicks. No "artisanal truffle drizzle" or "seasonal microgreens." Just real pizza, done right, at a price that still respects the working crowd ($10-20 range, according to public listings). This is the kind of slice that makes you pause mid‑chew and go, "Yeah... this is why Houston loves this place." Frank's sits right in the heart of downtown -- the kind of location that sees everything: courthouse traffic, bar crawlers, office warriors, theater folks, and late‑night wanderers. Inside, it's loud in the best way: clatter, laughter, the hum of ovens, the shuffle of people grabbing boxes bigger than their torso. It's got that old‑school, no‑nonsense charm -- the kind of joint where the walls feel like they've absorbed decades of stories. Frank's doesn't chase trends. It doesn't need to. It's sitting on over 7,000 reviews and a 4.5 rating, which is absurd for a pizza place that's been feeding downtown for years. That's not hype -- that's consistency. That's thousands of people saying, "Yeah, Frank's hits."
