Pink Rabbit had a fun, energetic atmosphere that we noticed as soon as we walked in. We sat in one of the booths along the wall, which was comfortable and a great spot to relax. The drinks were good, but not memorable enough that I'd come back just for them. The vibe felt more like a nightclub than a cocktail bar. The music was fun, but it was extremely loud--even though no one was dancing. The crowd was young, and the energy was high, which would be great if you're looking for a lively night out. We spent the night downtown at the Crystal Hotel on Friday and before going to see Jeremy Piven at the Roseland I knew I wanted to grab dinner and drinks at the Pink Rabbit. I've been here 4 times over the last 4 years. When I'm in town with friends, I have enjoyed coming here. This is the first time where the drinks were terrible. They seem to lean on the very sweet side, we ordered ones off the menu and 1/5 was drinkable. The others just too sweet or very sour, no balance. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks (not on menu) and all were disappointing. I was so sad as this was a first for 3 of my friends. It's a specialty cocktail place so you would assume when you order a simple cosmo it comes out cold and light pink. This bar is meant for the girlies! Such a cute space, with equally cute drinks. Loved the throwback songs playing in the background like Hilary Duff, and a projector playing Disney Channel too. They have a great selection of cocktails and mocktails, with some Asian-fusion. The ahi nachos were really good, but the small plate wasn't the most practical when trying to eat it haha. This place was an incredible vibe! Got there at happy hour and ordered some nuggies and the broccolini. The nuggets were cooked well and elevated nicely with a good bbq sauce and a really good sweet and sour sauce to dip in. The broccolini was next level though. Had our snacks and drinks in the outside seating are and everything was out quick. The drinks were killer, the special, Sweet Tea, was one of the best drinks I've had in the city. Updating my review from the full five stars. I went once and had an amazing experience so I left some great reviews, but only to go back and find out that they changed out their entire menu, and it was not for the better. Knowing this, I probably won't be back, because I like at least a little consistency. It was also a letdown, because the things I went back to try we're not on the menu anymore. And the things we did try, we're not as good as what I had last time. Service was fine, and I enjoyed the ambience. Cocktails are good enough. But they constantly changing menu, means it will be hit or miss if they have something you like. For instance, they had some amazing hot shoestring fries when I went in, similar to McDonald's, then the next time, they were cold waffle fries. Go fig. read more

Been her a few time. Honestly... it's not that great. You can say the drinks are good... but a lot of places in PDX have drinks the same quality or better. The food is ok but not great. Nothing that stands out. What put me off was the bar smell... I've worked in restaurants before and yes- the bar can smell but usually it's only something the bartenders and bar backs can notice, but here you can smell that moldy bar sticky alcohol smell permeating the entire place. Imagine that smell mixed with a bunch of sweat too. It's a small place and I'm not sure how, but it gets busy. And for some reason they have a bouncer but i feel like it's just for looks because it's so small, there's literally no point. Also... The DJ ... doesn't know how to DJ. The transitions are terrible. I'd rather go somewhere else but this is a good spot to hop to if you're just running the streets and bar hopping. But consider the wait time for a drink... it's long. read more

It's often crowded, though, and the music is way too loud most of the time, which can be overwhelming. Pink Rabbit has an absolutely fantastic aesthetic. The space is gorgeous, with exposed brick and the beautiful real tile covering the walls. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and boasts a really great menu with creative, delicious-sounding options. The food we had was top-notch--no complaints there at all. However, a couple of small issues kept this from being a five-star experience. The staff felt a little disconnected from the service; things like drink refills and check-ins weren't as prompt as they could be, suggesting a lack of focus on the dining room. The most disruptive element of the evening, unfortunately, was the music. It was chaotic, with volumes varying wildly from song to song, and multiple songs skipping partway through. It made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the environment. With a little more attention paid to the flow of service and the music playlist, this place would easily be five stars. We'll definitely be back for the great food and amazing atmosphere, hoping those minor kinks get worked out! read more

Pink Rabbit tries really hard to be cute, but it comes up a little short. We got there at opening time and the doors were locked so we went to a couple other bars first before coming back. The vibe inside is trendy, but like they tried to incorporate every 2017 trend at the same time and it just doesn't work. Great time at the pink rabbit! Was in town visiting and stopped by due to the reviews from the locals. The place is aesthetically so beautiful! Lots of vibrant colors and well thought out design. They're topping choices, buns, and pairings with a very grown-up dip are perfect for late-night grub or happy-hour snacks. If you are accustomed to more European-style service where the staff let you be, you will feel at home here. If you enjoy chatting with your servers, I'd recommend heading elsewhere since they are normally quite busy. Depending on the day, your experience may be like mine, where the staff never checked in to see how things were, and at one point almost removed my plates (which still had food) from the table. Came here for some drinks on a weeknight evening, located in downtown Portland. Nice vibe, music inside and outside, and they look like they have some good Asian eats, the menu and cocktail menu were pretty impressive and there's an in house dj. The music can get kind of loud both inside and outside so it was hard to talk. I enjoyed the vibe, we got seats not at the bar and there was a server that came around and took our orders which I thought was much more chill than having to go up to the bar when it's busy. I first got the moon rabbit which was very refreshing and I got another drink which I really enjoyed the ice cubes and the details of the drink.
