Yesterday I made an appointment through their online website for an eyebrow wax for today. I showed up 5 minutes early for my appointment. I was asked twice what I needed. I said I have an appointment for an eyebrow wax. The lady rudely asked "Did you call or make an appointment online" I said I made an appointment online. She says "Next time call because we don't do online appointments". Why have the website up and available to book appointments? I also got two text messages confirming my appointment. I've been going here since I moved into town almost a year ago now and haven't had a single bad experience! Service is great and I love their organic pedicure that comes with hot stones. I had to wait about thirty minutes on one occasion, but minimal common sense is required to realize waiting might be necessary as it is a small location with only 4 nail stations. If you walk in when all of the stations are full and there are two people in line ahead of you, it's not too hard to figure out it'll be about an hour wait. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! I got back from the nail salon. It's my first time getting nails professionally done. Only 2 people were working there. My experience was .. eh. They did a terrible job on my french manicure, and the staff was so awkward... The place was really dirty and was strongly smelled of nail fumes. No air vents or anything. Only 4 tiny chairs for people to wait at. You sign in using a clip board. They're extremelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy AWKWARD. So awkward , it was rude. The guy did my nails and didn't say a word to me. But I saw him talking to other customers. Does he hate me or something? I was so nervous that I was trembling. I'm sure he thought I was insane. I almost wanted to cry. He didn't even tell me what to do , like he did the other customers. He just pointed to stuff. He squeezed my hands too hard , and just threw them around. Wasn't very gentle. He didn't say Happy New Year or Thank you to me when I left, but did to the other people. I thanked him at least a hundred times and I don't think he even looked at me once. And I accidentally dropped my phone when I had to get up and wash my hands, and I couldn't pick it up because my nails were wet with this chemical stuff. He just stared at me , fumbling to pick up my phone somehow. He was like "Want me to pick it up?". Wtf.. I'm unable to, so obviously? And he put it in my purse. Really just awkward.. I WON'T go there again if I decide to get my nails done again. I felt so terrible and uncomfortable. I don't do well alone in social situations lol. OH . and the crappy manicure cost $30 for a basic french mani. That crap started turning YELLOW within a few days. Then a thin clear layers would fall off and expose the white nail polish underneath. I watched and They don't sanitize their tools from the previous customer which was disgusting. I didn't say anything though.. Just awful. NEVER going back again since Cali is better in both service and quality :). Alot of people think they are rude, ghetto, overpriced, and they are limited in terms of deisign. My advice is to stay AWAY. Also I should note that this place does their acrylic nails by gluing cheapo plastic tips NOT by nail forms. If you don't know, nail forms are tape under the nail and the acrylic nail shape is sculpted from scratch on top the real nail, then the tape is removed. It's a much better polished look and doesn't put stress on the real nail. read more

This is definitely one of the worst places I have dealt with. Went in on a Tuesday afternoon, no appointment, told by the staff to make an appointment as they could not take me that day. Called on Wednesday morning to make an appointment for Wednesday, but told no appointments for the same day - only walk-ins. But they said if they were busy, I would have to come back later in the week. So, I made a 2 PM appointment for Thursday. Showed up at 2 PM and they were busy, they were taking walk-ins. I signed in and waited for 30 minutes, it appeared that the current staff of 3 had roughly 30 minutes or more for their current customers. So I notified them I was leaving and then left. Worst service ever. New owners are worst than the last. The last 2 times I had my nails done (Gel) they started peeling in just a couple days. They never cured properly, and most of them peeled right off! When I was trying to explain my experience, the nail tech just walked away! She didn't even let me finish. What I was trying to tell her, is that the last 2 Techs that did my nails, did not put the pH bond on before the base coat. But she just walked away, and so did I. I went on the internet and bought the supplies to do my own gel polish, and they look just as good as theirs, and last a long time. Save you hard earned $$ and find a place that at least pretends to care about their customers! read more

I called 2 days prior to make an appointment for a pedicure. I arrived there about 10 minutes before my appointment. I was not greeted by any staff besides some nasty looks from one of the nail technicians. I signed in and picked my color so I would be ready to go for my appointment. Next thing I know the staff takes back a group of women who were walk-ins before me. At this point I was confused on why I had even bothered with an appointment. About 35 minutes later they finally seat me in the pedicure chair, where I then wait another 30 minutes before they finally start on my feet. The staff seemed more concerned with selling their knock off Gucci clothing items than actually doing what I was paying them to do. The technicians also had their younger children there screaming and signing the entire time I was trying to relax and enjoy my pedicure. Very disappointed and will be needing to find a new nail salon for my next pedicure. read more

Disappointment. Can not even open on the times that they claim to be open by, being a half hour late to the business YOU own is not acceptable. Also very rude on the phone when calling to make an appointment. When you actually do get to make an appointment and show up ON TIME, They usually take you ten minutes after that anyway. They also get upset with you if you point something out that you do not like or if you ask to change a specific thing about your nail design. read more

It has been about a year since I have had my nails done. I called yesterday to book an appointment for my daughter and I to both have a full set of acrylic. Let me first say The hours say they are open til 7pm. So I asked for a 5:30 appointment and the lady was rude and said we are done working by then. Which is fine but most people have jobs and can't make it during the day! As do I, that's the reason I needed a 5:30pm appointment. If they were booked that is ok. I would completely understand! But don't say "Oh we are done working by 5:30pm." And have your hours say your open til 7pm. So I called another salon in my area. They were so nice and said sure come on in at 5:30. After reading the reviews and having a bad experience with the new owners (even though I haven't ever had a service done) I will be taking my business elsewhere! Agree with other reviewers. What would it hurt for the staff to be at least congenial? Maybe they should take a course in how to treat customers and learn basic manners. They are in a service oriented business, if they can't deal with the public they should find another source of income. They don't even acknowledge you, just point and grunt. NOT ACCEPATABLE, will spend my money elsewhere. read more
