This place does amazing nails, but their customer service isn't on par at sometimes they also ask for a tip when I thought a tip is supposed to be gifted to the person? I continue to go there because I like how they do my nails, but I do not like their customer service or their bedside manner if you could find a better place, I would go there. Used to go to pink nails in Broomall and loved them. They have been SO bad lately. I always appreciate people who do hair and nails and tip 30-40%, and I always say thank you (even when service is awful). They Declined over the past few years. Are they under new ownership? Manicures are jagged and blobby. I asked nicely if they could fix it today, and they filed my nails down after they painted them so nail polish has already begin to chip off a few hours later. They swore they were using the same color on my hands and feet... did a tan on feet and a white on fingers and kept convincing me they were the same color. I just let it go. They act like they can't stand you the whole time. I can only get my nails done a few times a year and just want to have a moment of peace in the craziness of mom life and feel a little nicer. Literally BEWARE! My Mom, two younger sisters, and I went in to get our nails done the week before my wedding. We got four pedicures, one with gel polish, my Mom got a basic manicure with gel polish, and my sisters and I got refills on our acrylic with gel polish. I had one upgrade to my nails that I got white chrome for a more sparkly look to match my dress. For starters, the experience was horrendous. At one point during the services while being in the pedicure chair, my Mom had to respectfully ask them to leave me the hell alone because they kept switching up nail techs on me every 10 minutes and kept pressuring me while trying to make a decision about a color choice and shoving their phones in my face. I got so overwhelmed I literally almost screamed. I was definitely a little more stressed than normal because of my wedding being in 4 days but I don't think anyone should feel overwhelmed when going to a nail salon to get services and simply relax. At one point, I look over at my youngest sister who's sitting at a station in front of me and the woman working on my sisters nails is PRETENDING to trim her cuticles until about 10 minutes in to that and they switch the nail tech up on her for the third time. Now we're up at the front desk waiting to be checked out and they total everything up and tell my Mom that the total for everything was $400 dollars. HOW?! My Mom asked for a sheet of paper so she could write the price up herself and starting asking us what we got so she knew what we were being charged for. They start breaking down the charges to us which are not the prices they have listed on that menu by the front door so ignore that all together. A little over $100 dollars of the cost was to "change the nail shape" and "remove the existing polish from our hands and feet" How else would you do a nail service if you didn't remove the prior polish?! My Mom paid it reluctantly and we left. I felt disappointed and so upset for my Mom that she just paid that much money for services that I ended up paying her back for something that was supposed to be a special treat for my wedding. I will NEVER go back to this salon, I don't care if the services were free. They rob people blind and they expect that since that they shuffled you between 8 different people that each person should get a tip. Literally go anywhere else. read more

depends who does your nails. the last 3 times I went I was charged 3 different prices. they charge whatever they want. got my nails done there recently and had acrylic and glue on the side if most my nails, I had to ask for the inside of my fillin to be drilled down to clean the inside of the nail. the edges were rough and had to ask to have these things fixed. and then I was charged 80$ for a fill in last time was charged 60$ the time before 75$ when I came in I asked for refill for dip. I get hombre dip every time same thing for 5 years. they said no you have gel hombre we can't do it refill fur dip you have to get whole new set... they did the refill there last time... felt like terrible service and charge what they feel like. not good business this is why I stopped going there years ago should have learned! read more

Pink is... alright to say the least. I've been a few times and it's always 50/50 on quality. The first time they did my nails the polish job was pretty bad. The polish didn't even reach both sides of my nail, I went a few more times and the quality was somewhat better. I've gotten acrylics from them 3 times now, 2 of the 3 looked decent. My first set was insanely crooked and didn't look great. Besides that, they have like, 3 different people work on you at any given time. One person to take off your polish, one person to start your nails, and someone to finish. They also constantly ask you if you want different services, getting your brows done/ massage. It can get a little annoying, they have also cut a few people I know doing their nails. It hasn't happened to me but they cut my mom twice in one sitting. And if you're getting a pedicure, they clean their tools in the foot bath water, it's kinda nasty. I probably won't go back as I have switched to a better quality nail salon read more

I went on a Tuesday night an hour before close. They were very quick with the service and Sophia did a great job with my nails. Sophia left and I was paying with someone else. I was very turned off by the cashier and the other lady who did my pedicure. I was adding to the tip for Sophia and the cashier has the audacity to tell me to tip more. Mind you I was tipping enough %20 for my service. I had already tipped the other lady in cash. They both then proceeded to talk about me in their language. I'm assuming it was to say how low of a tip it was. I was very turned off. I spend $110 on my service plus tip and was made to feel my tip was not enough. I went to get my full legs waxed and the lady technician kept saying half leg good? half leg good? so I conceded and let her do half. Then this same lady goes out and rings me up for $50 (the board says full leg is $40). I protested and she gave me $10 back. I called the manager appalled with the treatment as half legs are only $20 and these cheaters were charging me $50 - for a service they never provided. She said you told me you wanted full legs. I said correct, but your lady only did half legs and she is charging me $50 (she knows exactly if she completed a full leg or half) - she said the board should say $50 for full legs but it says $40 and they only provided service for half legs. The manager outrightly lied to me. I lost my patience not willing to argue with this manager anymore I left. Please dont go to this place - these people are dishonest - Julie's nails on state road is a better option. OMG! I can't believe I'm reviewing a nail salon. I'd rather have a root canal then have my legs waxed! I'm writing this review because I am a beneficiary of their work. My wife and daughter have visited many times. I often bring them and while I'm waiting, hang out at the Starbucks across the street. These folks are open all the time. Weekends, holidays, you name it they're open. Usually until 10 PM. When the most important ladies in my life come out, they look good! I can really appreciate the work. Nail infection NIGHTMARE! I got a pedicure yesterday and my big toe throbbed all night long. The technician used metal tools and cut a long silver of my nail off the side. I did not ask for that. IT HURT! Now I have a very painful infection. I'm reporting to the department of health! This pedicure turned out to be a total nightmare. They gave me a very painful nail infection that still hurts after 2 weeks. I had to go on a strong antibiotic for a full week. My toe looks deformed and I am going to have to grow out at ingrown toenail that they caused by ripping my nail out all the way to the bottom of the cuticle. I would never recommend that anyone go there unless you want to leave injured. I completely disagree with the businesses response to this review. The technician ripped long sliver of my nail out. I did not have any kind of infection before I went there and it hurt when she ripped the piece of my nail out. I am looking all over the Internet to find resources to report this salon for being unclean. How dare you cause me pain and injury and then publicly deny it. read more

They had awful service and the employees were rude and inpatient. I asked for very simple acrylic nails and the the women doing my nails grabbed all the wrong colors even though I showed her the design. I had no cuts on my nails, but they were stinging for 10 minutes after she put the oil on. my nails are now ruined because of how rough she was on my young nails. She was very moody and didn't listen to me at all. I left with the ugliest nails I have ever seen in my life. This isn't my usual nail spot but it's close to my work so I have it a shot. I walked in and asked for a pedicure and dip nails. When I sat in the chair the technician asked if I wanted my legs and arms massaged... I said yes thinking that it was included in the price of a pedicure. If I had known it was going to cost me an extra $50 plus I would have never agreed but of course they dont imply that it costs anything. After they were finished I went to pay and it ending up costing me $130. my usual mail salon costs about half that. Here's the kicker I gave my manicurist and pedicurist a tip even though I was upset and the woman told me the 2 other women who massaged my arms and legs needed tips too. When I first came in they were nice but as soon as I sat down this lady came up to my and was being pushing about getting a massage and I said no thank you I'm just getting a gel manicure today. It says on there website a gel mani is $25 but it came out to $27 instead not that big of a deal. The women how did my nails was very nice and I liked her. But 3 days later the gel nail polishes turned yellow and I got a deeper pink color. So I'm not sure if they add something to there gel polish so it last them longer and they can make more money. Have you ever found a place that is worth the drive? That's how Pink is for me. I live 45 minutes away and will still drive to Pink to get my nails done and a massage. My best friend was a spa manager for 3 different spas and yet this place takes top for me. She can read your body reaction I swear. She knows exactly the right amount of pressure that's not too soft or too hard. Just hard enough to get the knots yet gently enough not to leave a bruise. After the massage, I drove straight home and fell asleep, I was that relax. Now I'm back a week later. I got a pedi, refill, and massage, all at once. Now if you're not interested in that, tell them. They will do it separate but it will take longer for obvious reasons. I'm for efficiency as long as the outcome of the nails are the same. Michael handles my claws and I am never disappointed. There are a tons of salons between my house and here but Michael has perfected acrylic nails while his wife is on point with painting them. Brought my daughters yesterday for finger polish change and pedicure. Charged adult prices despite website saying there's kid pricing ($15 more per kid). I didn't argue since I figured prices increased due to covid but after inspecting the prices my gel manicure was only $2 more than online pricing. Stopped in today to ask about the increase and was told they are adult prices now and there's no where in the location with updated prices. My daughters nail polish also immediately started to come off within a hour after leaving the salon. I mentioned this when I stopped by and was told it's bc it's regular polish. Under stable in a few days but to just start falling off when she wasn't doing anything seems crazy. Lastly, we had multiple techs. One woman did their pedicures, another painted nails. I have been a loyal customer for over 3 years. Yesterday while I was paying for my manicure and pedicure another customer asked how much it cost. I didn't think anything about it and said $25. She said she paid $35 and asked me why I paid $25. The woman kept asking everyone around her. The owner yelled at me in front of everyone and said that I cost her money. I was very embarrassed, this was so unprofessional and very disrespectful. I have been going there 2 times per month which is $50 per month plus tips for over 3 years. This incident cost you over $600 per year because I will never go back there again. I feel sorry for your employees because they are all so nice and they are loosing money because you were so unprofessional. So Pink Nails is now my go-to spot for dip powder. I tried other salons who were not as clean, did a poor job, or were more expensive. Pink Nails is by far the best for dip powder! $5 cheaper and my nails last for 4 - 5 weeks every single time! My Mother found this place and has brought me a couple of times now. First thing I have to say about this place is the wonderful hours (probably why my Mom, the night owl loves this place). They are open til at least 10 pm every night and open on Holidays too. This is also one of the biggest nail salons I have been too. They have at a minimum 10 pedicure chairs and if you decide to get a Mani-Pedi, they do them both at the same time while you sit in a massaging chair - very comfy. I have also have my eyebrows waxed here and have to say they do a great job and are always very consistent. Great price, great people, and great quality. I really like Pink Nails mainly because I love my nail tech. She is the only person I have found that actually does what I want and listens to what I say. Overall, this place is quick. You will be in and out in no time. If you are getting a pedicure and a mani they will do the mani while you are having your pedicure. I don't think I have ever had to wait to get a mani or pedi. Only time I wait is bc I request a specific girl and she might be doing another customer. You can call ahead and make an appt though. The owner normally does my waxing and she does an excellent job, too. Prices are really good - definetely on the cheap side. Parking could be a little better but there is additional parking out back. I have yet to find it though. Only annoying thing is when they come around and keep asking you if you want a massage or other services. read more

I went to Pink Nails for a mani pedi. Three different people worked on my pedi and when I got outside in the daylight, I noticed the polish on the pedi was an uneven color, lighter in some areas. My gel nails were perfect! I went again on Sunday, just for gel nails. There were two techs that worked on me. The color was uneven and she had missed on the second coat on the side of several of my nails. The hours are excellent and the price is good, but I won't be back. read more

Longgggg time customer and advocate (!) of this place since it's close to,where I live and prices are reasonable. I'd love to give it a 5-star review, especially in light of hardships faced by small businesses recently. However, my complaints today are the SAME complaints since this spa opened about 25 years ago. 1) the technicians are often distracted. Holding side-bar conversations with their co-workers. Pausing in the midst of YOUR service to converse with a co-worker. 2) when busy, they often start you with one person to give you the impression that you're being waited on..and then change you to someone else. The person they start you with is not really qualified to complete your services. They may be able to remove your polish and soak your feet but they cannot perform the actual pedicure, manicure etc. as they are not really licensed, I guess. The problem here is...Who do you tip? How many people are you expected to tip? 3). the water they soaked my findpgers in for my last 2 manicures was ice cold. I felt like I was soaking in a toilet bowl. Not cute. Please can you bother to bring warm water. The owner seems to be very hard-working and has been in business for a very long time. She also does waxing and recently has begin to do eyelash extensions. She's gotten better over the years, but will still ask if 'you want wax?' Even if you've already told your technician (because they will ALSO ask) that you don't need/want waxing services. I used to visit this salon often due to its convenient late hours. I finally vowed not to go here again after my last visit. I went for a new set and the owner suggested the white and pink ombré dip powder. I agreed to it. I was in there for 3 hours because they kept rushing through it and messing it up. Why there were two employees doing my nails to begin with, who knows. Finally, I was told we needed to soak them off and start over. I refused because at this point I was bleeding, sore, and it was 11PM. Although I was not charged for that specific visit, the prices are never consistent. Friends that have gone here have expressed the same concern with the pricing. I've brought family here and they didn't want to come back after being hounded the whole time to agree to more services.
