I asked for another manager to help and she caught an attitude. After taking almost $200 in charges out of my account she tried to charge me a THIRD TIME. Told me to make it up she was giving me a managers discount & my only charge was going to be the tip I was leaving for my waxer. She ended up only refunding me what I SHOULD HAVE payed and took $73 from my account. Insane.

When waiting, a male employee was mocking a client for taking a selfie, animated enough for everyone waiting to hear. The room was noisy, the service was very mediocre, and during my mask, the service provider did the dishes - that was a first for me! There was a surprising amount of hands-off time. While looking at my skin, the provider asked my main concern, I responded hydration - She replied she would do a moisturizing facial. NO red flag there until I checked out and there was a $30 dollar up-charge for the moisture! In spas I am happy to do add-ons, but this was shady as no mention of an additional cost was stated and whatever, if anything, that was added on was inconsequential. The Hand & Stone Broomall is such an easy location for me that even with a facial that was lacking I was going to book a massage, maybe that would be better. They were aggressive with their membership sales and I had enough and left. I had overheard while waiting that the location had new ownership beginning in May. Here's hoping that they step up the training for front desk professionalism as well as technical skills, or the business does not look to have a promising future

I asked her very clearly in the beginning to please not stay in one spot over and over again and use some pressure. She did the exact opposite. Oh well, such is life !

The pedicure was perfect, loved it. But when we sat down to do my nails, it went all downhill. She asks if I wanna cut my nails down to match the length of my shortest nail, I say no it's okay, call me weird but I'll be fine with them uneven as long as they're long. But you could take the tiniest bit off, and she does. Then she says your nails are a little flimsy like I feel like they look a lot better with gelX and I told her I wasn't sure about it but she reassured me it would be healthy for my nail, I asked her if it was gonna be a similar price and she says yes, which on their website a simple hard gel overlay is around 40 bucks. by the way they're not they're not the same price, they ended up being $30 more.
