Don't go here save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. The new people that took over here have no problem ripping anyone off. Myself and 2 other women who were great customers will not be going back. For a $30 basic manicure they charged $8 extra just for the person ringing up to get themselves your money. I always tip my nail tech, the cashier doesn't get a self imposed tip of the customer's money. That's called a scam. The service from the new owners and their staff is lousy, they don't want to give more than one coat of gel color. My nails were so damaged the last time I went here, the new staff drilled into my nail bed. I used to have strong nails that were able to grow long on their own, my natural nails were down to skin in some areas because of this place and the NEW ownership & their "techs". They gave my friend grief because her nails were long and they didn't want to use their already dirt cheap acrylic on the length, after they told her no to gel because of her nail length, which is a little over an inch only. Lol. We already found a better, cleaner, actually normal nail salon. Where they know how to interact with customers, instead of sizing them up and ripping them off. read more

I really didn't want to write a negative review. however, the person who did my pedicure was absolutely ignorant of how to clean cuticles, cut nails and how to properly handle the cutter. I had to tell her to cut more, because she left so much dead skin. I blame the owner, because she just sits there doing nothing but charge. Employees need to be trained to do the job right, specially if your prices are THAT HIGH!. Gave it a try and will never go back. read more

I just moved to Clifton last fall, this has been my go-to. Ms. Kim does such an amazing job when it comes to any design I want. I usually don't go for color and love keeping my nails simple, but this time she insisted I go for lavender for that extra pop! And I AM OBSESSED!!! These are my real nails and I've been getting gel mani's from here, since ever I moved out from NY. This is the longest and strongest my nails have been. I am very peculiar when it comes to the shape of my nails. But from round, to stiletto, to square to coffin, they shape them just the way I expect them to be. And if you know you know, it's important!!! All the staff are so kind and welcoming. They keep everything neat and clean. Never have I ever had a bad experience. read more

Great prices and great detail, honestly have not had reg mani pedi last me 2+ weeks before coming here. Dalila is super friendly and excited for new customers! I moved to Clifton about a year and a half ago and have been looking for a decent but affordable nail salon since then. Typically I maintain my nails myself but every 8 to 10 weeks I like to get everything cleaned up since I can only do so much on mynown...maybe a little more frequently in summer time. Up to this point I've been using the occasional visit to my in laws in Brooklyn as an excuse to go to my old nail salon in the neighborhood. But I need my own local place already. Since this place is literally around the corner from my home and they advertise a $20 mani/pedi, I decided to check it out. The decor is simple, nothing fancy, but it's bright and welcoming. Looks reasonably clean. The women greeted me warmly, even though the place was mobbed. I'm assuming this is part for the course for a Saturday at 2pm in most salons but I think it's compounded here by the fact that they are closed on Sundays which is a bummer. Anyway, they told me about a half hour wait, so I asked if they'd take my name so I could come back at 2:30 and they obliged. When I got back, it was still very busy but since they told me I could come back, they accommodated me fairly quickly and put me in a pedi chair within 15 minutes. I did sit with my feet soaking for a little longer than I expected, but ok. I found out later that someone had also quit on them last minute so they were short staffed in addition to being busy. It happens. Being a patient person and someone who works in a customer service oriented industry myself, waiting didn't bother me, especially since they were extremely apologetic about it. No problem. It's Saturday and I had no appointment, I expected a wait. For a $20 mani/pedi, they go above and beyond with a hot stone massage and paraffin heel treatment, which I do not get at my old Brooklyn OR old Queens salon for the same price. And even given as busy as they were, When they did get to me I did not feel rushed or pressured and the work came out beautiful. She made every effort to get my skin super smooth and I have no hangnails, scratches, nicks, or smudges. The color selection is not fantastic, so I will probably bring my own polish for return visits and I plan to make my own tool kit as well since it doesn't seem they offer personalized boxes like other salons do. You.know, where you can pay a small fee and they keep a drawer with your own buffer, nail file etc with your name on it. Kinda skeeves me out sharing that stuff since it can't really be sterilized like metal tools can. That and being closed on Sunday are really the only negatives I found. The service was warm, friendly and proficient and I definitely plan on making this my go to salon now that Clifton is home. Thanks for reading! read more

I'm giving one star because I have no other choice. I went to get my nails done for my birthday, I was a walk-in and no customers were in there. The tech started on my nails and another customer walked in and I was told that I had to wait for them to do this OTHER customers nails... That was strike one. Strike two, the nail tech stopped my manicure again to go get something to eat with her daughter thus resulting in my finger nails taking over 2 and a half hours to get done. Strike three, the woman doing my pedicure literally ripped the skin off my toe and it started gushing blood and she didn't stop to take care of the bleeding. I had to stop her so that I can put tissue on it. Another woman stepped in a grabbed a green fluid and a qtip and cleaned my toe. The apology was so aloof as if it was my fault that she sliced my toe. I was furious as I could not wear shoes other than sandals for several days. And being that it was my birthday the next day, I had to walk around with a bandage on my toe which looked horrible. Needless to say, I WONT be going back. read more

I had the worst experience here the owner was arguing with a worker in front of me I almost got hit with a lotion bottle she slapped her daughter very violent environment and they didn't even do an amazing job I got a gel manicure and it started chipping within a week I'm rating it one star because I have to if not I wouldn't even rate it that read more
