I let her know about my shoulder and neck being knotted from working at a desk and also doing a lot of weightlifting. She really got in there and helped ease all of my shoulder tension and was great at communicating and making sure it wasn't too much pressure. I also let my masseuse know that I had an arm tattoo that is still healing (at 4 weeks post-tat, I still didn't want any oil or rubbing on it) and she was super accommodating to this request! Super clean and relaxing energy. Everyone was very kind. As someone who is both regularly active and sits at a desk for work, I will be coming back here probably once a month for my health. Thank you so much for having us!

She appeared young and didn't seem to know what she was doing at all. I mentioned that my problem areas were my shoulders and legs, but she informed me she could only focus on my upper back unless I paid for an hour. This was surprising, as I've had full-body Swedish massages in 30 minutes before without an issue. Throughout the massage, her attitude seemed off, and she was rough with her technique. Her arms were felt scratchy against my skin, and she kept using her elbows, which hurt. Even after I told her it was uncomfortable, she didn't adjust. Swedish massages are supposed to be soft and relaxing, but this was anything but. She finished early, leaving the room at 11:21, so I didn't even get the full 30 mins I paid for. I got dressed and when she never returned so I went to the front desk at 11:27, only to see her kneeling on the floor casually chatting with the receptionist. I've always booked online and had decent experiences here, but this walk-in appointment was a complete disappointment. There was zero relaxation; I left feeling more tense and irritated than when I arrived. It's definitely not worth the $50 (with tip), and I won't be coming back.

Really Nice Skilled Therapeutic Massage!…read more Manin was my masseuse and she did an excellent job at giving a truly therapeutic massage with lots of care. I was feeling pretty sore after 26 miles of hiking the week prior and wanted to get a little recharge in to help my muscles feel better and I was not disappointed at all. She gave good attention to my legs which many masseuses seem to almost completely bypass to focus on the back. So glad she got into the business of legs! Massage here is $60 per hour and you get a private room with some light, relaxing ambient music. The room seemed clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean too! All in all this is now one of my top two in the phoenix area for a good massage. Located at the Big Red Asian Spa sign to the right of Los Favoritos Taco Shop and left of Thailicious. I wanted a deep tissue massage and I've had MANY, what the guy was doing was not a deep tissue massage; I don't know wth it was. He rubbed the same spot over and over again-- when he asked about the pressure after the 3rd time I told him to soften up. I should have informed him it's not the pressure it's the excessive rubbing in the same spot. I got a noticeable bruise the next morning and a couple of dark spots that is light bruising. I did not feel the knots loosening, I did not feel any lighter. It's been almost 3 days and my back is tighter than it has ever been and hurts especially my shoulder blade area and neck where he kept rubbing. Idk what all the good reviews are about; both my sisters who also got massages with me said it was not great. I just had the worst experience out of my sisters. The bed was so uncomfortable we had to keep adjusting the placement of our head. I did not sleep a blink. $100 for a 90 minute idk what! The reflexology- the arches, heels, toes, and the pressure points on feet felt so satisfying. Anna basically worked my entire body and even stretched me. My muscles and lower back tend to get tight from playing tennis during the week and I felt so limber when she was done. The reason behind my score of 4/5 stars is due to the lack of dimmer switches in the room. I would be absolutely fine with the quality of light in the room (there's something similar to a night lamp you would use in an infant room), however I don't like the door being left open. The brightness of the light in the hallway and people walking past the room is distracting and takes away from the meditative state. Needless to say, I will return.
