We were searching for a place to eat halo halo and desserts and we found this newly opened Pink Heaven in San Dimas. The halo halo is in a big cup cost $14. Lots of things in it and could be share by two people. It is so good and it has ube ice cream on top. The ube cake is not sweet at all and you can really taste the ube flavor. We met the owner Vivian is a nice lady! Overall the desserts are good. We will be back for the food next time. We want to try the Kare Kare and cebuchon! read more

The fresh mango juice was refreshing, the sisig was packed with flavor, and the daing na bangus and lumpia was perfectly cooked and brought back so many memories of the Philippines. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. We had the pleasure of meeting both the owner and the chef, and they made us feel genuinely welcome. For months, we's been eagerly anticipating this place opening up to the public. So glad to have this welcome addition to the neighborhood! Everything is spic and span and organized. It looks so clean that you could eat off the floor. The warmth and hospitality is something else. The chef very kindly gave us a sample of their clam chowder - it was rich, thick and heavenly. He also gave us some lechon pork belly, which was herb-scented (they didn't skimp on the lemongrass so it smelled divine) - leading us to order half a pound of it. The pork sisig is flavorful but hopefully the chef could cook it all down a little more to let it all crisp up. There were lots of fat pieces that could've added to the overall texture of the dish had it been toasted up more. But don't get me wrong - the quality of the food is incomparable. Delicious, hearty and filling. And if you're the type who loves it when the staff chats with you, this place is for you. One of the nuns, Sister Irene (Pink Sisters) chatted with us at length. Even when we turned away from her to eat, she just kept talking to us and even made me give her my number even if I didn't want to. She made me feel uncomfortable. She just lingered at our table even when we made it obvious that we wanted to just eat quietly and be left in peace since we were mentally exhausted from work but we didn't want to be rude. Perhaps next time, they could read the room and sense whether or not customers welcome the extended conversation- not everyone is always up for that. All in all, it's a great place that serves authentic Filipino food that satisfies cravings. The price point is reasonable too, which is wonderful especially given the state of the economy this rabidly incompetent president created. Next time, we're bringing our loved ones with us. New Filipino spot. Staff is very friendly. The lady owner walks around and engages with the customers to make sure everyone is ok and enjoying their food. We ordered to go and they let us sit at one of the dining tables to wait and brought us water and even refilled it while we were waiting ( I was really thirsty as it was super hot that day). DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! This is by far the best Filipino food I think I've ever had. I ordered the chicken adobo and the pancit bihon, and I was shocked at how much food you end up getting. Portions are huge and seem more family style than single entree. I've had a lot of chicken adobo, and this one melts in your mouth and falls off the bone. It was so fresh and delectable! The pancit was fantastic quality; taste just like homemade pancit from my Filipino friends' lolas. Going in, the place is also cute and cozy and they have plenty of desserts I will need to try next time on display. I have to spotlight even though I ordered to-go, the front staff was super accommodating and gave me water and even a free size-up for the side of rice I got! I sincerely cannot believe San Dimas got a Filipino spot this good in a little strip mall away from the main town!!! I ordered the pork sisig bowl and it was ready in less than 10 minutes! Employees were friendly and attentive. Sisig bowl itself was delicious in flavor topped with a slice of calamansi and a fried egg. The calamansi added a nice citrus flavor that I really appreciated. I will say the egg was a tad bit undercooked, but it was ready to go so fast that I don't mind. I wish the bowl had a bit more meat, but for $11, it felt like a good full meal. Restaurant itself was extremely clean and each table was set with dish ware and utensils. It can be hard to find good Filipino restaurants. I would return if I was in the area! read more

I was in the neighborhood for an appointment and was pleasantly surprised to find a Filipino restaurant! I ordered a sisig bowl, which came with rice and a fried egg on top for $11. The pork was pretty good but would have been great if it was a little bit crispier. Egg was sunny side up and I would have liked it a bit less runny but that is just my preference. Service was friendly and quick. There is a shared parking lot with plenty of spaces when we came on a Saturday at 2:00 pm. There was no one else in the restaurant. The place is bright and clean. I would come again if I was in the neighborhood. They have a catering menu, too, and I would consider this for my next party based on the bowl I had. read more

Surfing TIK Tok and saw this place. Wow it is fantastic. We started with the lumpia, and enjoyed Bom i, Bar b q ribs and chicken adobo. It was all great. I can't pick a favorite because it was all so good. We finished with the cheesecake with carrot cake base. I highly recommend this place. I came here during their soft opening. About 2 weeks ago. And the staff are so nice, all of them. It's the Filipino way. The best hospitality and kindness. This restaurant is very small and quaint. Ambiance was nice. The food was good. Lumpia was good. Fried chicken wings were really well made with the tangy dipping sauce. Hot and crispy. Their cucumber drink was soooo refreshing and not too sweet. Desserts we had was a slice of chocolate cake and this sans rival cake. I didn't try it but my husband did and he said the crispiness of the cashew meringue was too soft when it should have been crispy. It tasted like it was made days ahead and just sitting in the fridge. The only complaint I had was the Kare Kare. The ox tail had very minimal to no meat. It was honestly just bone. Probably only had 2 bites of meat on that. I'm not even exaggerating. There was plenty of cartilage and fat on the bone, which to me wasn't edible. That was super disappointing being that this dish was $30. I'm hoping that was just a one time thing and it won't happen again. I'm sure I'll come back and give them a second shot because like I said staff was great. But please in the Kare Kare please make sure to give a lot of meat. Time for our monthly sisterly lunch and this week, Filipino food. My sister has been talking about this place since she's from San Dimas. Time to check them out. They open at 11 am and there were 6 of us. We ordered lumping Shanghai, langonisa pasta, kaldereta beef, Kare-Kare, bangus sisig, and Bam-I. You have to try their smoothie called Malungay Mango drink... wow! For dessert, refreshing halo-halo and sylvanas. (You can check their food photos. Sorry we got so excited that we literally dived into it) The food was cooked fresh and amazingly very tasty. There were plenty to go around since we have to take home left over. They are new to the community . The service is fast and staff are very friendly. The place was very clean. We were able to meet the chefs and the owner of the place. Had lunch here for the first time and ordered plenty of food. Most of it was great! The Sotanghon, Beef Caldereta, Lumpiang Sariwa , and Lumpiang Shanghai were standouts.... Delicious! I wish I was still going to school at La Verne! Im so coming back! For the team, I'd highly recommend to get into digital marketing, and target the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, Diamond Bar, Azusa, and Arcadia. All are asian communities, Filipinos are spread throughout but if you can get your food in front of them on their Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc It's only a matter of time till plenty of older Filipinos will drive to you, just because it's authentic flavors and ingredients you can't find for miles. Also! Invest into your Google business profile! Showing up as the 1st or 2nd option when someone googles "Filipino food near me" will bring you so many customers! Been eagerly waiting for Pink Heaven to open and it definitely lived up to our high expectations. San Dimas/La Verne really needed a good Filipino spot nearby and this place fills that gap perfectly. We've tried a bunch of things so far and honestly everything has been really good. The lumpia was crispy and gone way too fast, the chicken adobo had great flavor, and the kare kare was super comforting and rich without feeling too heavy. Even the clam chowder surprised us in a good way. Desserts were just as good too, the halo halo was perfect on a warm day and the ube cake was easily one of our favorites. Not overly sweet, just really well made. The staff has been friendly every time we've gone in and the whole place has a welcoming neighborhood feel to it. You can tell people are excited they opened. My new favorite restaurant!! Fantastic food with great atmosphere. A warm and welcoming family owned business. Met the owner and his mom, both were sweet and enthusiastic. We became fast friends with Rebecca at the counter who is adorable and walked us through their menu. As we waited for our to-go order, the proud cook offered us a sample of Lechon and Clam Chowder. The Lechon melts in your mouth and we knew we ordered correctly :) We even met the "Pink Nun" who told us about their partnership with missionaries. Our order was Lechon, Hare Hare, Rice, and Fried Veg Lumpia all were 10/10 - lick your fingers delicious. So happy to finally try their food. It was definitely worth the wait. I ordered to-go of their rice bowls. Their Kaldereta, Pork Sisig, and Salisbury steak were all good and tasty. Their rice bowls were all made to order but the wait was short. I'm glad I found this place, it's nice and clean. I ordered Kare-kare, Sotanghon and Sansrival. Kare-kare has beef tendon which is healthier to eat than tripes. Sotanghon is complete with all the ingredients that my Mom cooked. Tagalog way. Both are delicious. Sansrival is good. I will come back for sure. The people there are nice. First off, really hoped this place would succeed as it is convenient to have a local Filipino spot. Even supported their restaurant during their soft opening but still have yet to really "suprise" us with great food. Food is decent, but doesnt seem authentic or lacking flavor. Tried several items, snd nothing too special. We did try a second time a few weeks ago for takeout and other items were not special. We tried the kaldareta which was not too good, let alone charged 24 bucks for a small to go bowl which was not filled to the top. No complaints about their service as they have always been friendly and attentive. Just wish their food tasted better, and price point was on par with what they serve you. This is my 2nd time here, I should've waited til tomorrow (father's day) they're advertising free sinigang, oh well. Servers are great. Place is very clean. Food is authentic. Ordered Pork Sisig and Kaldereta again, and again it was great. My issue with new places to eat is consistency, and this place is consistently great. We also ordered the Lumpiang Shanghai, and 1/2 lb order of the Lechon Belly. Those were very tasty as well, did not disappoint. For dessert my wife and I ordered the Halo Halo, that was great too. This place is overall really really great. Finally, a closer place to eat great Filipino food. I highly highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. A bit pricey but well worth it. Highly overpriced for portions, food was tasty but not great. Friendly staff but there were also mistakes made. After being told a dish wasn't available we substituted for a different dish, only to be told that the original ordered dish was still being made. The surprise here was that the waitress expected us to still take both dishes even though we only added one after being told the other was unavailable. To top it off, the Mahi Mahi (originally ordered dish) was still raw in the middle. Their fruit smoothies were really good, they offered 2 slices of cake on the house which was nice but $150+ for 5 people was just too much considering the portion sizes and mistakes made.
