I called three places close to my house. The prices varied between $28 and $35 for a gel mani. I asked a coworker and she recommended this place. She has been doing her gel nails here for over 10 years. I gotta say even though it was the most expensive one it was worth it. Great atmosphere, great service, beautiful results. I am coming back. Overall a good friendly visit. I came in for a pedicure, gel manicure and eyebrow wax. As I walk in my first impression is great. The salon is empty and there are 2 employees relaxing. I was happy to be able to enjoy my day and have all 3 services done. Immediately I'm told I can only get a pedicure because they have appointments coming in. Understandable, but they could have possibly done the manicure first as they await the other clients. 1 hour later with now a 3rd employee in the building and no one else has come in. So I cheated on my nail salon the other day and came here because my friend wanted to try a new spot near our houses. So with that being said it's pretty safe to say me nor her will be back. I didn't really have any real issues besides this place wasn't the cleanest to me and although the lady who done my pedicure was very nice and gave a great foot massage I still left feeling like the heels of my feet were never touched . I'm so used to the nail salons I go to offering you wines, mimosas,etc . On top of it I was interrupted by my pedicure with my friend arguing with one of the nail techs she wrote her very own review here because she was so upset by it . Would not recommend and most definitely won't be back. Went for what was supposed to be an enjoyable, relaxing pedicure & SNS fill in. The young lady asked me if I had tips which I replied "yes", then asked me if I wanted to keep them which I responded "yes". Proceeding with my pedicure which was good, then switched me off to a gentlemen with a man bun for my "fill in". He tells me to put my hands in the bowl which I did only to realize the tips were basically melting off. I asked the gentlemen why my tips were disintegrating and he said unless I was getting the same color they don't do fill ins, they always soak off and do a complete set and that I should've known that. I explained that was actually only my second time getting SNS and that he should've informed me. Then he couldn't find the color that matched my toes and tells me to pick another similar color which I did, and instead of him repolishing my toes, he just adds the new color on top of the previous color which I thought was odd and questioned and he replied it was close enough to the previous color. Let that go, then on to the nails which still had polish on them from my previous color and used the sanding tool and nearly sanded my nails off to the point they were paper thin and burning from the sander. I again questioned why he was sanding my nail so thin and told him I was getting frustrated and he said he was too. I ended up asking for a manager which never apologized or addressed all the errors made by his tech and just said Kelly would be finishing me up. She begins to question if I've ever had SNS before, if so was it their salon, and that the previous salon should've told me you can't do fill ins. Which I replied, why would they when they were doing a full set?? Basically just indicating it was my fault and I should've known. I was so upset and the experience was so awful I just told her to do gel polish. Even with the gel polish that is supposed to make your nails stronger, I can literally bend my nails they're so thin. Go to pay and my total was $55. $35 for the pedicure which I was fine paying and they indicated they were "only" charging me $20 for the gel polish as if this was cutting me a break. My nails look so thin and not even polished to my cuticle. Awful awful service. read more

I have been to this location several times and usually it is in the evening hours so it's not as busy as I'm sure it can get. There is no need to make an appointment as they accept walk-ins very pleasantly. Usually the technicians in this salon are pleasant and very accommodating with your requests for manicures and pedicures of all types. My daughter and I usually go together and get serviced by two separate nail technicians. This day was no different and we were in and out and out of the salon in an hour and 15 minutes with both our nails and our feet done. I'm not a newcomer to this salon and normally the customer service is decent but this evening I was rubbed the wrong way. They close at seven. I arrived at about 625 and they seemed reluctant to even greet me. I'm assigned a tech shortly after telling them what I want. The gentleman doing my nails is rushing to the point where he burned me while filing my polish.. I say "ouch" to let him know it hurt and he didn't say anything. Just kept going. Anything he said, or asked it was followed by " we're about to close" he asked me if I wanted French tips again and before I could answer, he says "well we're about to close". Keep in mind, when I arrived, the "open" sign was still on.. and I asked for a fill in.. shouldn't even take that long if you know what you're doing. I ended up politely asking him to stop and just paid for a polish removal. At the end of the day, you are providing a service your job is to make me feel comfortable. They failed at that tonight. Which is a shame after I've given them my business so many times. Won't be going back. read more

I've literally been coming to this nail salon for the last 14 years. I see Kelly every 3 weeks faithfully. I spend about $100 every visit. (Do the math) I reached out to Kelly last week to tell her my polished had chipped on all of nails on the right foot and it was beginning to start chipping on the left. I explained I knew I had in appointment in a week but I was attending a wedding over the weekend and my shoes would show the chipped paint. She told me to come in as a walk in bc she didn't have anything available. So I did just that. I'm thinking she's going to fix it but some other guy does which is fine, it's just polish. He tries to get me to get a pedicure. I told him no, I had an appointment with Kelly. I just need this fixed bc I had a wedding. He then asked if I wanted them cut down, I said no again, just fix the chipped paint. When I'm done drying, he proceeds to ask am I ready. I said yes. I ask him to see if Kelly has any earlier appointment. He then tells me it's $18 for the chipped paint. This is an entire joke. I pay $45 for a pedi, so you mean to tell me if I don't get polish, the pedi will be $27. So because she obviously used old paint on my nails and it chips (it never does) they are charging $18 for their chipped paint work. Never again! I spoke to the owner and he seemed so apologetic. But have I heard back from him, nope. Did Kelly reach out to even apologize, nope! Think I'll ever go back, Nope! I've sent them countless referrals over the last 14 years. My wedding party got their nails down here. My whole family goes here including my best friend and god sister who moved here a few years ago. Don't waste your time or money! The turn over is high and $18 is too much money for polish that chipped bc they used old polish. I could have got polish from Tisun's and let me dog polish my nails better! read more

I love my nails! The shop itself is located in between some stores but you would be surprised on the inside. It's really big. I thought it would have been small, judging from the outside but it's not and interior decor is nicely put together. Mimi does a phenomenal job with my nails- very gentle, meticulous, and quick. Fairly new to the Charlotte area and I keep hearing about pink and white salon. Then I heard that they are a shop that does SNS nails...I went to get my nails done on the 5th, the tech asked me what I wanted done today? I said SNS. I previously watched videos just so I can see what I'm getting myself into & the way it was applied on the 5th of October definitely had me scared/nervous. But end result turned out nice and clean. During that service the tech was nice, polite, and the shop was very clean/presentable. As I continued to look around, everyone had a glass of wine. A lady sat down next to me to get a balance done on her nails and she was offered a glass as well. I was not asked if I wanted one. Not sure if it was because I looked young or what. A week passes, I go to work; not a harsh environment, not rough, but I do type a lot and fold clothes. I get home that night and two of my nails are gone and one is chipped down the middle. I was very upset because I had just paid $65 dollars for something and it was ruined a week later. I called the salon the next day. Asked to speak to the manager, I explained to him what happened and he immediately scheduled me an appointment to come in and get them fixed, but I'd have to pay half the price of whatever I wanted.. at first I was upset but I was very satisfied with the service, and how fast he finished my soak off, and new full set. One thing I didn't like when I came back the second time was that everyone came up to the front of the store to look at my nails when it should've only been the managers problem to handle. This is the only place I go to when I need a gel manicure. I am extremely picky when it comes to gel manicures because if it doesn't last longer than regular polish then what's the point? Everyone is really friendly and the environment in general, is calm and relaxing. I try to avoid coming in Fridays or weekends because they get busy real fast so expect a wait if you're coming in those times. I've never gotten my nails done by anyone else besides David. He's really careful and pays attention to small details that other nail technicians don't really care for. My gel polish ,the least, will last me a good full two weeks and my current gel polish right now is going on 3 weeks and still going strong! I'm also the type of person that if the polish chips, there's no stopping me from peeling off the rest of the polish. Beautiful salon I used to be a regular customer years ago. I'm a licensed nail technician and have been doing own nails but decided to get pampered for my bday. I loved my pedi and nails however I developed a fungus on a toe and an infection on my thumb that cause half of my natural nail to come off. Completely detached! No injury or anything. I experienced swelling of my thumb (2x the size of finger)and extreme hardness of natural nail under acrylic. I had to soak off to relieve some pain. Pus developed and drained and pain left, swelling went down and nail became detached. As my toe polish began to chip I saw discoloration underneath so I buffed it off to see my nail was green( fungus)Not sure if it was product or or implements not sanitized. But I will not return. Recently I've been coming in every 2 weeks to get a gel manicure with Mimi and she is AWESOME! She is the only one who's painted my nails where my manicure still is in tact after 2 weeks and it looks just as good. I cannot find a great nail salon for the life of me. I had a great one in LKW and may go back, they are just bad about not honoring appointments and switching out on technicians when they are working on you. At any rate, Pink and White was recommended by a friend so I thought I would give it a try; I was not impressed. It seemed everyone from the old Beverly nail worked there, which was fine. But it didn't seem super clean, which I really want in a nail salon; I didn't like that he used his one long nail to push my cuticle, etc. back. And though they did Pink and White like I wanted, I described in detail to the guy and even showed him a picture of what I wanted and it was still off; I had to spend time filing them after I got home to get the natural look I prefer. I had the worst manicure I've ever received. The tech was beyond unprofessional and far more rude than I would ever have expected and certainly did not deserve. To be fair, I wouldn't and will not give this tech the chance to redeem his reputation. That ship has sailed.... But to spare you the details I had my nails done on a Thursday afternoon and on Monday morning I was at a new salon getting them redone, repaired, and am so happy with them. I had 4 lifting from a basic gel polish. Nothing special, and the tech couldn't manage that, I was not a walk in...I had a scheduled appointment. If the tech had not been so personally insulting with his bad manners, I would have been happy to go back and get them redone. Anyway, I am , to the right tech, a repeat customer, I'm not late, I don't miss appointments, tip in cash, reschedule before I leave and don't whine about things. I usually tip 25 percent in cash. The ladies are nice. However, there is one guy there that is a jerk. He is rude and does not know how to talk to customers. Every two seconds he kept getting up to help a different customer and there were others working on the shop that could have assist those customers walking in. I believe his name is Johnny but I am not sure. He blames everyone for his mistakes, does not take responsibility for his action and he always mess up on my nails. I will never ever go back to this place. I can see why they were able to take me as a walkin immediately. Because their customers service stinks and people are going elsewhere.
