Such a cute restaurant! Loved the atmosphere and during the day it's kid friendly. All the staff was all very nice, attentive and friendly. Our food was amazing! We have eaten at Pinewood Tavern four or five times and it has always been great. This is way beyond bar food with most everything made to order. We usually have the special if there is something offered. The short rib special was amazing as was the fried chicken special. Taco Tuesdays are great also. Their bacon and egg appetizer and wings are also very tasty. If you like cobbler, they sometimes have peach cobbler...which I really enjoyed. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Worthy! We had late lunch but it was Taco Tuesday and the tacos were delish! We would be here every Tuesday, if we lived closer! Had a taste for a burger today, Ole Blue came out with a very delicious and juicy look accompanied by waffled sweet potato fries! Without hesitation I dug in, blue cheese started dripping down my fingers and my taste buds went wild! Party of three went on Sunday night at 6:30. Ordered kids burger meal, fish and chips and classic burger. There were total of 7 people in restaurant, including us. Kids burger described as 1/3 pound, looked smaller than mcdonalds kids burger. I asked for medium well burger, which was pink on inside and burned on outside. $1.00 extra got me a side of sweet potatoe fries that were cold and gummy. Fish and chips had frozen-freezer burn taste. All food came out cold. Service was poor to non-existent. When I told server food was cold and not good, he walked away. This place has only been open a couple of months. In town for lunch while camping we thought we'd give it a try. Great food made in house. I had a burger and they said it would be cooked medium and it was. Tried the pork nachos and they were delicious. I like ranch with my fries and they had thin fries and homemade buttermilk herb that was great. Fresh brewed tea not that fountain crap. Didn't get a chance to to try the beer, but they rotate local craft beers. I only gave it 4 stars because i wish they had more kids options. We will be back. read more

Took my parents out to a late lunch here, none of us had been before. Small menu but very good food quality. We shared the bacon and eggs (devilled eggs with bacon) which were awesome and the nachos. The nachos are great; they have a wonderful blend of cheeses made into the queso, delicious pickled red onions, and favorful tender pieces of pulled pork. The special of the day was the Tavern Classic burger with BBQ pulled pork and crispy onion strings topping the beef patty. It was delicious and cooked medium, leaving just the lightest pink. The fries were perfect, tender interior, lightly crispy exterior, not over or under salted. We all left very full and satisfied. We'll definitely dine here again when we're back in the area. Three of us went here Thursday for an early dinner. We were there for Happy Hour, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated!! The bartender really knew what she was doing! The drinks, Housecrafted Bloody Mary (with their homemade Cucumber Spicy Infused Vodka) and Staten Island Iced Tea were so good that we had 2 each,! The food (Chicken Sandwich, Cowboy Burger and Fish & Chips), along with the onion rings that were an option were ABSOLUTELY delicious! Lastly the service provided by Ashley was OUTSTANDING - Ashley made the entire dining experience a 5-star event. She was personable, friendly, attentive, smiling and probably one of the best servers we have had in a long, long time! I been coming to the Pine Tavern Since you opened I have eaten in there maybe four times and each time the service has been great. Each time the food was questionable!! The first time my Burger was over cooked and l told them that I'll pay for the half that I eat!! They said that they were sorry and took my money. The 2nd time I ordered another burger it was cooked just right however it took about 45 minutes on a Monday mid afternoon with only two or three tables again the service was great? Plus they said they were sorry! The 3rd time I had the French Dip and it only had a few slices of Beef I called the waitress over and showed her the sandwich she said it looks like they forgot to put any meat in it and said she was sorry and took it back to the kitchen and 5 or 10 minutes later she bought back the sandwich with some meat in it!!But the Ajus was cold again another sorry!! Today the 16th of August my wife and I stopped in for a late lunch about 2 o'clock. She had a chicken salad which was delicious!! I had the Pastrami sandwich and Fries. The sandwich was Great!! The fries tasted like they were left over from lunch and were cold!! The waitress asked me if I wanted some more or something else I told her That if the cook couldn't do it right the first time I didn't need them!! Again the waitress said that she was sorry!! Then I got the bill it was almost $50.00. We had a couple of drinks with the meal. I was going to pay for the meal and the wife took it from me and went up to complain about the cost and the cold Fries again!! The waitress did take a $1.35 off for the Fries!! Which I thought was an insult!! If Mike the owner reads this!! If you treat your local customers this way how about the ones who come up to Pine to get away from the rip offs down in the valley or else where!!I love supporting our local business!! But for me you lost a customer until I hear something Positive about the way you take care of your locals and another's who stop by your businesses!!!:( I was in the business for over 30 years and I always made sure that my customers always left happy no matter what the cost was for me!! Food is very good and reasonably priced. When they have entertainment, e.g., the Country Ride band, it as a blast. The catch is the price of their drinks. Tonight I paid $22 for a double well drink (a Manhattan). Yikes! Even a medium-size, average quality glass of wine was $9. So if we go again when the band is playing, we will have our drinks at a nearby bar first, then show up for the band and dinner. read more

Gave this bar Resturant two tries now. First, visit they were pretty busy so I let it slide but sat down ordered a beer and water. Waitress brings water, no beer. Waitress returns takes the food and I say did you forget my beer? The owner brings the food order and I say did the waitress forget my beer? Owner gets me a beer and tells the waitress to comp the beer. Thank you. Second, visit not busy but about 14 to 16 tables with about 40 to 60 patrons total including the outdoor patio and another 12 to 15 patrons at the bar. Staff was 4 waitresses, 2 bartenders, 4 in the kitchen whites, and 1 Expediter at the window. We sat down ordered a beer, a water, chicken wings and a salad. Again, water arrives, no beer. 15 minutes pass the table next to us is cleaned and new patrons sit down. The waitress tells the new patrons, I am sorry, I forgot the other tables' beer, I will be right back for your order. Beer arrives and waitress takes the new patrons order. Over 20 more minutes have passed, I ask the waitress did you put in our order in? Her reply is let me check. After waiting 40 minutes the patrons who sat down 20 minutes after, we ordered salad and chicken wings are served their hamburgers. I ask the waitress how their hamburgers come out before a salad and chicken wings? We told the waitress, we are leaving, I paid for the beer and as we started to leave the waitress said here is your money back, the beer is on the house. Thank you for the beer. So at least they compensated with a beer each time for the slow service but after two experiences, we have no confidence the service will happen. read more

She had "the deer in the headlights " look. Got the attention of another for our food order. I have eaten here before several times and always enjoyed the pork nachos, but something changed. Originally, this dish was plated very tastefully and amount of pork was generous, even between the layers of chips. This time it was a mess of a pile and way different than before and everything was on top. I slid the chips from beneath and stuck them in the sides and scooped the top so all chips had a little something on them. I also ordered the onion rings which came with watered down ranch dressing. These onion rings did not appear to be hand dipped with panko, if they were, I'd be shocked. I know what pre frozen rings look like, not to mention what we were charged for them! This is a new place and quite nice. We sat on the patio which was nice because the weather was perfect. Plus the live band inside wasn't too loud. Keegan was our server and even though it was only her second day serving, she did a great job. So found out about this place as we were grabbing a drink at the Old County Inn and my boyfriend was chatting to the table next to us. They happened to tell him about this place. Owned by the same person as Old Country Inn. We headed just down the road to this place. Tucked next to a Grocery store. Pretty inconspicuous. Walked in around 5ish and the place was already busy. We were still seated quickly. Our server was so much fun and full of personality and so accommodating. BF doesn't eat meat products and she adjusted our meals and put the bacon on the side even though I told her it was no trouble, she went out of her way to help a bacon-eating sister out! We ordered the deviled eggs, Cobb salad and fish and chips. We shared everything and it was plenty for both of us. The Cobb salad - holy moly - best Cobb salad I've had ever. It was so good. Came with perfectly cooked grilled chicken, lots of toppings and a herb ranch that was divine. I'm going to be craving this salad until I can get back up here. The fish and chips, NO processed frozen fish here! It was light, crispy, and flaky. So good! The deviled eggs were delicious and great. It hit the egg spot! My family took my father there for Father's Day and arrived right at opening time (11:00). We were seated immediately and our order was taken right away (by 11:10). Everything seemed good until we realized that it was 12:00 and we had not been served. On top of that, my sister and father noticed that food was sitting on the counter for approximately 20 minutes. A server, finally, brought the food to us. We told them to take it back because it was sitting there for 20 minutes and it was cold. At no time did anyone come over to us to apologize or if they could do to make it right. We then decided to leave. As we were leaving, the table next to also got up and left for the same reasons. They also arrived at the same time we did and had no food by 12:00. My sister then realized, about 20 minutes later, that she left her Father's Day card, with a gift card, on the table.
