Don't bother with the $$$ water taxi, or the super sandy mid-road (with mini-ponds to go through after rain!) It is a lovely walk on the beach. Fruits, snacks, drinks and a really friendly staff made my lunch hunt easy. No seating available, but we walked down to the bay, took a right, and ate on a bench overlooking the bay.

Their website says they are open daily 7 am - 5 pm, but are often open til 8 pm or later. Note: Yelp had listed the place as closed, but it's definitely open. That's when, from behind a chain linked fence and gentleman appeared. I felt this was the perfect time to ask about the business. He immediately yelled out "we are open in fifteen minutes!" I said "I know, just wanted to ask a question." He than quickly shut that down. "I open in fifteen minutes and don't like people waiting in my parking lot, so come back than!" I felt completely offended. He couldn't even answer a question. My brother wanted to say something, but in this day and age I strongly advised him not to. We just left and took our business somewhere else. I get it, it doesn't like to be bothered while he's working. Who does? But we were customers coming to buy food and keep money in the community. What was he thinking? If that's how he is with everyone, I'm certain the doors will be closing here for good soon.

The rolls are soft, bacon is crispy, eggs are always done exactly how you ask, and sandwiches usually come together with a beverage at a great price. I tried sausage on my sandwich today, but think you can't beat bacon. Definitely worth a try for your next morning or lunch!

They serve hot food as well as standard sandwiches and they stuff the sandwiches quite a bit, almost too much. The service at the counter is always friendly when they take my order. The issue is, they are extremely overpriced. A bologna sandwich on a simple roll and a seltzer should not be approximately $20. The chicken cutlets are microwaved when they are ordered and they just aren't good and they are very pricy. Also, they don't sell drinks in cans, which would be a bit cheaper because a bottle of soda for $4 is just not fair. If you want a standard deli sandwich, at a reasonable price, I'd try a different deli in the area.
