A wonderful place to start a lazy beach day in the Grove. Or a good way to wake up after one of those nights. Tip: if you get the hue is rancheros, splurge on the green Chile sauce to top it.

What a great introduction to Fire Island. This was my first stop off the ferry from Sayville. This spot has everything you want for a small time breakfast stop. Friendly staff, quick service and great food. I look forward to stopping by again when in Cherry Grove.

Homemade muffins yum. Awesome spot a bit pricey well worth it. Sitting outside was relaxing. Coffee on point. Fresh fresh fresh. Cash only so make sure you have cash on you, honestly on the island if your staying you should carry cash it's a lot easier.

As someone who has traveled to all 50 states, I couldn't resist checking out Roadtrip Bayshore. The…read moreconcept is fantastic: the menu changes regularly to highlight a different state, and during my visit it was Georgia week. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and unique concept, and accessibility done right.

I had the opportunity to check out Roadtrip with a friend on a weeknight. The premise of the…read morerestaurant is that every week they highlight a different U.S. state, creating entrées, appetizers and drinks that showcase the selected state's leading agricultural industries and cuisine the state is known for. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.

Hopefully they take constructive criticism. The waffles my table mates and I ordered were quite doughy and thick, as opposed to airy or with a little crunch. Perhaps tinker with the recipe? I ordered mine with "banana berry and cream." The banana chunks should have been cut into smaller slices, the strawberries should have been served without green top stems and the dollop of whipped cream should have been bigger. Also, I think only 3/4 of the waffle is served. What happened to the final quarter that makes a complete waffle circle? We wanted to split the bill it into 3 separate tabs, but for some reason, the less-than-friendly waiter couldn't figure it out. Should be easy with their POS-type system.

The food was very good, creative menu. Service was good as well, our waiter great, experienced. I recommend this establishment, I will visit again for dinner . Jeanine herself is so warm and accommodating and is such a sincere and kind person. On one visit when I was in a rush picking up dinner for my mom, she went above and beyond to quickly prepare the most perfectly tender chicken cutlet with vegetables in just minutes. On my most recent visit, I had the most delicious chicken parm with ziti I have ever had in my life. The ziti was not only perfectly cooked, but the sauce - wow! It was something out of this world. The best I've ever had. I can't even properly describe how incredible it was - you have to try it for yourself! While I was waiting, someone at the bar overheard my order and told me how amazing it was and said that I am going to love it! She was absolutely right. I've also had their brick oven pizza many times - they make it fresh right in front of you in minutes and it's absolutely delicious. I can't believe how quickly they prepare such phenomenal food across the board. The prices are incredibly reasonable for such high-quality, home-cooked style food. You can absolutely really taste the care and quality in everything they make. Jeanine's is the best - I highly recommend!

Cons: I've called this place 4 times in past couple of months for a pick-up order. First time was great and picked up the food and fell in love so much so that it would be a regular on a night that I'd pick up rather than cook. Second time I called and was told to hold on and I literally timed it. After 10 minutes, no one picked up but could hear all the chatter from the bar patrons. Third time I called it was probably picked up by a bar patrons that sounded like he really enjoyed his liquids. Needless to say, he placed me down on bar and after what seemed like a few minutes, I was hung up on. The last and final time I attempted to call for pickup, no one ever picked up the phone. Final result: I believe if you plan on going up there and dealing with the wait, then the food is worth it. As for me being a regular customer, they've lost my business. If they had a working website or some other way of ordering, I may try them again. Otherwise, I won't go there unless I plan to sit and eat there or indulge at the bar: The potential for a great business is there, but maybe they only want to remain as a bar to their regulars.

Got there early ahead of our reservation to get drinks at the bar. I ordered a dirty vodka martini and my husband got a gin martini. They got the order wrong and gave us both dirty martinis. I was briefly excited by them asking if I wanted blue cheese olives but even those were dry since you can see them on the bar pre-skewered, sitting in a container, not in brine. We finished our drinks and then moved to a table. We were not given water when seated. Placed an order for another round of drinks then (smartly) made the decision to order a mix of apps first before our entrees. Placed an order for another round of drinks, got the gnocchi, dumplings & wings. Food hit our table before our drinks arrived and we had to ask for water. Now onto the actual food - sadly, nothing good to say about it: - Sticky Gochujang Wings: well fried wing but WAY too much vinegar in the sauce not at all a Gochujang flavor - Sweet Chili Dumplings: Panda Express sauce a cloyingly sweet. Would expect more from a place like this. Also the filling of the dumpling tasted like it had curry seasoning? Curry + sweet chili are not flavors that mix - at least not in this dish. - Gnocchi: The sauce was broken/so grainy and gritty and the gnocchi itself SO DENSE. After this bad show, it was a no-brainer that we were gonna take our night and appetites elsewhere. So disappointing. Feels like they have a lot of service issues. Staff felt new even though they've been open for a year or so now. Unless some big changes happen, I have no interest in coming back.

I've dined here several times over the past year plus. I'm struggling with where to land this…read morereview rating-wise because the food and drinks are always really great. Service, however, can be extremely hit or miss. I feel like 4 stars is appropriate because most of the time, it's a hit -- but when it's a miss, you almost feel abandoned at your table... The couple of times this has happened, the server was also very rude. Again, 90% of the time, really great and wonderful service experience, too. Additionally, it can get very loud in the restaurant and I'm relatively soft-spoken, so it can be very difficult for me to communicate with the servers. The experience at the bar has always been so lovely. Both the outdoor patio and indoor seating... Great vibe, great lighting. I've dined here enough, solo and in groups, to have had all of the following: To sip: - Espresso Martini: Very good espresso martinis here! - Manhattan: Classic. Great. - Agave Club: Good, sweet (as expected). - Socialite: Good. They make a good, classic Negroni and the red wine offerings are good. I'm not a huge CA wine person, but their Chianti on the menu from Italy is good. Must be medium-high in sulfite levels though because I do tend to get a little stuffy... but that's ok. :) To eat: - Burrata: Delicious but you really cannot go wrong here. - Charcuterie Board: Great to share. - Rock Shrimp Bao Buns: Ordered once. I continue to do without. They are really good but for me, personally, there's better on the menu. - Oysters: Basic but delicious selection. I just love oysters. - Organic Scottish Salmon: Very good. - Black Pot Mussels - Manieri: Amazing mussels and that white wine to accompany... Perfect. - Hanger Steak: Yum. - Greens and Quinoa Salad: Love it, very sesame-forward. If you do not like sesame, do not order. If you love it, go for it. - Spicy Lobster Fettucini: This is SO. GOOD. Have ordered this several times... Once, I had it two nights in a row dining in and I love it every time. Really good pasta dish and the amount of lobster is generous and the delicate flavor, surprisingly, does not get lost. Always plated beautifully. To end: - Caramel Brioche: REALLY great dessert; decadent. - Ricotta Cheesecake Brûlée: Amazing. The blueberry marmalade is so good.
