    I found this Ace a few years ago. It's fairly close to our home. They have neat stuff that's on shelves parts not common at the bigger hardware places. Prices are all over place they have good sales from time to time. The do chlorine for pools which is nice. The problem for me is the people that work there. Talking about chlorine you bring your two jugs in wait for employee to see how many you got before you toss them in a garbage can that they keep them in. They ring you up and then there's the were kinda busy ganna be a few min and we'll be over to load the new jugs. And that's the nice version. Sometimes it's here's your price and we'll be out. Smug is how most of everyone there talks to you. Sometimes they tell you they have them filled in bins out front in middle parking area. Or they have you move your vehicle to end so they can go behind fences to fill or get the filled ones over there. Parking lot isn't big but you are expected to move your vehicle here or there. There's a guy who seems to know a lot if you can get his attention. Don't expect what you need to be there you never know if they have it or if it's in stock. And what ever you do if your not sure go home and check and come back don't expect an easy return. I have seen horrible return experiences. I saw a lady trying to return a part that did not fit what ever it was for. Was still in box she didn't even open it. Apparently she bought it during hurricane scramble. At last min she left state. She got back a couple days later. I mean it was like 3 maybe 4 days when I was at the store watching her go through this return. They would not return it. They would not credit it. They wouldn't do anything but bitch at her with this smug attitude. Then they ganged up on her. The chick at cashier that's usually there the guy that's usually there. They teamed up and was like NO NO NO. Rude. All the lady did was kept her cool(Awsome for her I wouldn't have been calm). And explained she bought it before Hurricane to fix what ever. Realized it was wrong part, didn't open, didn't use. Can she just get credit so she could turn around and get the right part that was on the shelf. NO. She was like I tried to return it but you were closed. And I just got back yesterday and I can straight here to get this returned so I could get right part. NO. Then they start with we were here we were open see now your lying. She was like no I came back and this store was closed. She got big F.U. Soo disgusting watching theses employees gang up treating a customer like that. What if they walked in to Home depot and was like this part doesn't fit I want my money back and was told no. These idiots would pitch a fit. This lady spoke clear was patient started to get aggravated but kept her cool. Shame on this business. They have poor people skills poor judgement. I was sooo disgusted watching all this. Just because of this I won't go waste my time there. Even if it's on sale there's other Aces these people are typical for the area unfortunately. And their store hours are werd. Their never open late. By 6 their closed on weekend I think earlier. You would think you'd keep your store open to 8 ish. I have purchased paint here. It's a pain to get them to help you and stay helping you they tend to wonder away to help others which is fine multi task but please don't get attitude when I remind you Hello need you to finish with me! The paint is watery seems thin had to put few coats with theirs. And at current paint prices which are rediculous it's not worth getting paint there. You can find slightly cheaper prices with some stuff but not everything. And you never know if stuff on shelf's and floor are good with all parts it's suppose to come with because a lot is open boxes. But they have some neat parts and pieces. Handles for cabinets. Different stuff. They don't do the ace rewards card so just grab flyier. Watch sales they tend to repeat month to month. Just not worth the the stress you have to go through if you have an issue. I've gotten annoyed a few times other times their fine. If it's busy just leave unless they know you you'll have to wait and fight for help. I hate Home Depot and Lowe's so when I see a smaller store I try it. However with bigger stores at least you can return your items with pretty much(not everything but close)no questions asked with receipt.

    I have to admit I'm not a big tool guy, (easy now), But Harbor freight does have a good selection…read moreof low-cost tools and equipment. I have a 6 foot step ladder that usually served the purpose around my home. But on this day we needed to get up on the roof to fix a small leak around the bathroom fan. My son-in-law, who is like a MacGyver, only had a 6 foot ladder too. So off to Harbor freight we went to get a 17 foot extension ladder. Found it right away, we had a 20% off coupon and walked out of the store paying just a little over 100 bucks for the ladder. I have completed similar warranty exchanges at other Harbor Freight locations several times in the past, and the process has always been quick, simple, and hassle-free. The moment I placed my old tool and replacement tool on the counter, Don immediately became confrontational and argumentative. He repeatedly insisted that I needed a receipt to exchange a lifetime warranty tool and began questioning me in a disrespectful manner. He asked things like, "How do I know you didn't buy this at a flea market?" and commented that the tools looked like I had "found them laying around in the rain." These remarks were completely unnecessary, unprofessional, and insulting. At no point should a customer seeking a legitimate warranty exchange be spoken to in such a derogatory manner. Instead of providing customer service, Don treated me like I was attempting to do something dishonest and proceeded to interrogate me with a series of unnecessary questions. What made the experience even worse was that another employee appeared to have to guide him through the transaction because he seemed unsure of the warranty process himself. Throughout the interaction, he appeared angry, confrontational, and unwilling to help. He also repeatedly attempted to sign me up for an Inside Track Club membership despite me clearly telling him multiple times that I was not interested. This entire experience was completely unacceptable. Harbor Freight should expect far better from employees representing the company. Because of this interaction, I will not be returning to this location and will take my business elsewhere.
