I went to the store Billy was helping a customer and a woman was on the phone. Billy attempted to help us briefly when the woman got off the phone I thought she would help us but NO she helped people who came in way after we did. It was rude and I left. I would never go back there or spend any money there and I will not hesitate to spread the word how bad their customer service is there. I was looking for advise but got none except 8" tile is out of date I wasnt looking to replace the one tile I wanted to replace all of them, dont look for any help from that store. I went to Tons of Tile to try and solve several issues. Not only did I get the tile (exact match) of what I was looking for, it was delivered in 4 days. Bobby is excellent, not only was he patient listening to my concerns, he was diligent in searching his inventory to try to match what I was looking for and help me choose other tiles and products to finish my project. When they called to tell me my shipment was in, I picked it up from Scott, he was also very nice, courteous and he double checked the boxes to make sure that I was receiving exactly what I had ordered. My husband and I purchased the best tiles at the best price from them. We were in their stores many times before were decided on which tiles to buy. We got to be known as the "pain-in-the-a**-perfectionists", but were always nicely treated. Many times Angela offered us coffee and cookies, the staff was very friendly and we were never rushed . When we asked for help, Angela always had time for us. She sat down with us and brought us samples to view. Super stoked to have found this tile store! I was working on a small, DIY project and was looking for a very specific tile that they had in stock. The store had a huuuuge selection of stuff and they also had the color grout I needed as well. The folks there were super nice and knowledgeable and offered their assistance pretty quickly but didn't hawk me while I was looking around. one thing I don't like is a "hard" sale and they were really good about that. I bought a box of "bull nose" which my contractor said it wasn't the right kind of tile. Which I specifically asked for bull nose and they gave me the wrong product. They have me a round trim tile not Bull Nose. They will not let you return anything. They do have one sign posted but no one verbally said anything about not being to return. BE AWARE of the no return policy. They did give me a credit to the store but I'll never go back. read more

Just awful. I ordered some vinyl laminate flooring and was told it would arrive in 4-5 days. After a few days, I get a call saying that it's been backordered and won't be in for 8-10 weeks. I agreed to wait, but advised the salesperson that I need to be notified if there are any issues because I cannot wait any longer than the time quoted. So, I call a week before it's due in and am told that it's been pushed back another month! I understand that the item being delayed is not in their control, but their not notifying me is inexcusable. Also, they charge a $65 "pallet fee" or some nonsense for the privilege of doing business with them, which is just outrageous- isn't their 50% margin on the product enough? Also, I was told on numerous occasions that "I'll call you right back" or "I'll have so and so call you tomorrow" and of course no calls received. Will never go here again, there are better options. read more

Yeah, there are a thousand tile stores in Tampa Bay and I've been to most of them. But this place has stuff that I have NEVER seen anywhere else. Really amazing mosaics and materials. The store is in 2 parts, a showroom where pretty much everything is special order - but I have gotten my orders in 1-2 weeks - the other side is a warehouse area with in-stock items...and still many unusual and specialty tiles. The service is always 'at hand' but never pushy. I have challenged them with some awkward problems and cared so much you would have thought it was their own personal project. Another time the salesman came over with not just one but 2 less expensive options that were similar to the choice I had already made. They never try to upset you and their adventures regardinginstallationa dnmaintenance is invaluable. I have gone in with one idea of what I was planning to do and left going in a completely different direction based on the samples I had seen. While this is not the only tile purveyor I use, it's definitely my favorite and the first place I go. read more

Well, I'll say this for them: they have tons of tile. But service? Not an ounce. My husband and I visited this location twice, and both times were never greeted or even acknowledged, much less asked if we needed assistance. There I was, carefully walking through every aisle, home improvement notebook in hand, obviously serious about getting some tile, and nothing. Both times we were there for at least 15 minutes before giving up, and the second time, there was only ONE other customer in the store and 2 salesmen. Dear Tons, you can have the best selection, prices...you name it...but if your service stinks--TWICE-- I'm not coming back. read more

My outstanding review last week has disappeared! All I can say is you wont find any better selection or service. I was in there three times in the past three weeks and on two occasions there were customers everywhere yet I got excellent service. My tile man forgot to pick up a $40 piece of travertine and when I went back they could have said "Too bad". Instead without hesitation Bobby gave me the missing piece.
