It got a make over. It now looks like a Monterey Cypress. Orange tree too tall, brought the height down to make it easier for me to reach the fruit. I'm in my 70s and I don't wanna get on a ladder, playing it safe. Now the big surprise. Are HOA did not protect my property from fire. Behind my fense only 5' of grass from my fense line is cut every year. 40 years of growth, poison oak, blackberries, Ivy, Oak saplings, etc., etc. This large field on a 29% slope needed to be cut down and cut back 50 feet from my fence line.. Out came this remote control lawnmower without the handles. It came with three large separate circular blades. It was amazing to watch, it cuts through that poison oak, saplings, blackberries. It had chopped everything up, and then if you ran over it again it shredded whatever was left. You have to understand the things that it was cutting and some areas were 9 feet tall. I was totally impressed. My Neighbourhood was impressed. also He decided to have his backyard done also that very same day. Jose came out and was extremely conscientious and discussed ways we could keep the willow if we wanted. He even gave us different quotes to reflect our options. We decided removal was the best choice, and he was flexible in his quote to come closer to other companies I spoke with. The crew arrived right on time and were extremely efficient. I was worried the willow would be difficult to safely take down, but they were very safe in climbing the tree. They also cut the oaks completely back from hanging over our roof, and ground multiple stumps we had around our yard. They were finished in less than 5 hours and cleaned the worksite very well - they even cleared a brush pile we had from some trimming we had done ourselves the week before. I'm very pleased with the work Madriz did, and would absolutely use them again. We have a lot of future projects in mind that they would be a great fit for.

We just moved into a new home that has a large walnut tree in back. It started dropping lots of…read moreleaves all of a sudden in May, so we called The Professional Tree Care Company on recommendation of an arborist friend. Both Matthew and Lauren came out and spent a combined good hour plus of time checking out the tree (and freeing up the truck based from some neighboring roots), as well as talking with us on the correct care of our other trees. We gave them the go ahead to spend several hundred dollars in testing to see if they could figure out why the tree was dropping leaves so early in the season. But, before they did, Lauren spent a bunch of time calling around and doing more due diligence and determined this was just the walnut being a walnut and that while it probably has a minor fungal issue, the treatment wouldn't be worth it in this case. So, while they could have spent our several hundred dollars for testing and recommended what I assume would be thousands of dollars in fungal treatment, they called and recommended that the tree was doing well as is no need to do more. And no charge for all their time (I offered!). Definitely will be having them come back this summer to do a pruning of a couple trees, including that leaf dropping walnut, to keep them in good shape.

I am a professional gardener and one of my clients has been using this tree service for their…read morelarger trees for years. The trees always look excellent afterwards but yesterday I had the opportunity to watch them in action as I was working next door. Before starting they tarped all the flower beds underneath the tree so as not to crush the smaller plants with falling branches. The crew was efficient, careful, and impressively quiet. They used pole pruners and had a spotter to help guide the ones in the tree. Their cuts were clean, even, and at the appropriate distance from the remaining branch. Afterward they picked up all the branches and debris that fell over the fence. They did use a blower at the end to clean up smaller debris, but it was amazingly quiet compared to the monstrosities most people use. The tree looks amazing now. The crew were very friendly and respectful, letting me know when they were coming over to clean up since I was working nearby. I have observed many other tree services at work previously and this one by far did the best job of actually caring for the tree, not just hacking it.
