I noticed this unassuming shop on my way to my chiropractor and thought I'd see if they could help me out. They could not have been friendlier. I received a second eye exam from them. It was a night and day difference. The optometrist took her time and really made sure the prescription was right. While the other place relied on machines to tell them what to do, these people were old school in their approach and highly skilled. They had a good selection of high quality frames and provided great service at every step. If you want to make sure you're dealing with real professionals, Visionary Eyewear is a great choice. I don't normally write reviews, but this is one of those places you could walk by without even noticing and it was one of my better eye care experiences.

Each every time I go to Broomall Eye care, I get the right prescription! This may sound obvious; but trust me, I have had many bad experiences on the road. Recently, my wife came along for my visit. Dr A also looked at her eyes to see what he could diagnose. My wife has had eye trouble for years astigmatisms, retina/macula problems. Dr A advised her to see a cataract surgeon as he thought there was no other damage that he could assess. Long story short, my wife went to a recommended specialist and she now sees better than she has in many years. Dr A is a great Dr. I highly recommend his services. Unassuming, quiet and humble but very professional and knowledgable. Great Dr! And, yes, my glasses are the right prescription and work great!

One of the kids got inpatient and started to move the chair around and accidentally put one of his foot on the chair. Then, he went to the bathroom.... and she went after he came out. She made some snarky remarks again. Geese... lady... I subtracted two stars because of the staff. The doc is good, very thorough. But her staff needs to relax a bit. Or maybe have some kids friendly books or activities.

Dr. Marie, Sara, and Sandy were very professional and personal. I was impressed with my experience there and recommended my wife to go there too. A few weeks ago I went there again to get my contact lens exam and as always they were very nice and helpful. BTW they had a new member, April, and she is very helpful too! I did my exam and was given two weeks to try a new kind of contact lens, which did much better job to keep moisture. I went back and asked for some adjustment on my prescription and then I was given another two weeks to try that before I decided to buy. They didn't force me to order anything from them but I wanted to. I traveled a lot recently. Before my order arrived, they gave me some contact lens so I could use them for my trips. Today my order arrived but I couldn't get it as I came home late and their office will be closed this weekend. I'm flying out this weekend so I ask for help. They were so nice and were willing to drop the box on my patio. When I came home, saw my contact lens box sitting on my patio and a line of footprints in the deep snow, I decided to write this review to express my appreciation. This is definitely the go-to place I would recommend to anyone living around this area!!!

What a class act this office is from start to finish, and such a pleasant process--getting your eyes examined and dropping large amounts of money on glasses should not be this easy and enjoyable! Dr. Andree was thorough, gentle, knowledgeable, unhurried, and in all respects an excellent eye doctor. I got my year's supply of contacts extremely quickly and had no problems using insurance--and then, charmed by the lovely frames in the shop and the warm and friendly staff, I splurged on what I can now, weeks later, say with confidence is the best pair of glasses I've ever had. For someone as nearsighted as I am, that's a big deal: these lightweight, trendy-but-classic frames feel tailor made for my face, they were ready in a matter of days, and I got such focused and patient attention in the process--but what's more, the high-index digital lenses in them (which are stunningly thin) give me such clear, sharp vision that I feel secure wearing these all day and doing just about everything I'd do in contacts. It's gotten to the point where I'd rather wear the glasses most of the time, which has never been the case before! The point here is that I had a wonderful experience with this place and am genuinely looking forward to my next exam, and it'll take a lot of restraint not to splurge on another gorgeous pair of glasses.
