I really didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised! Came here with some friends per their recommendation. I haven't had poke since moving to DFW area. They sang the praises of this restaurant, especially considering that the fish is regularly flown out from Hawaii. I ordered. It was a bowl mix with one of the salmon and tuna options. It took a bit of time. About 20 minutes. Nonetheless, well worth the wait. Alongside the poke, there was crab salad, edamame, seaweed salad, and half mix greens and rice. Everything by itself was delicious. Together... oh my goodness. I am literally salivating as I'm thinking about it. I can't write more. Otherwise, I will embarrasingly drool on my desk and keyboard. Highly recommend.

I am so delighted by the existence of Pine Isle!! Incredible poke, I am not surprised they sell out so quickly every night!! Their cooked dishes are also incredible, and also frequently sell out. This was become a regular takeout place for us, and I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

If you love poke, I have a spot for you. Pine Isle is a restaurant located in Dallas, with delicious, fresh-tasting poke. I came later in the day and got to try a regular poke bowl with 2 scoops of protein (creamy spicy ahi & creamy spicy salmon)! The bowl also comes with rice, krab salad, seaweed salad, edamame, ginger, and wasabi. This is definitely my new go-to for when I'm in a poke mood!

Left poke order: shoyu salmon & creamy spicy ahi w/ half salad & half rice on the side Right poke: shoyu salmon & shoyu ahi w/ half salad & half rice on the side Coming out to be $34.64 for 2 regular pokes not including tip yet. Food always hit! My boyfriend lovessss this place and we both agree that this reminds us of poke from hawaii! Order this online and it was ready for pick up right when i got there! Service was amazing. The staff are truly so kind and helpful. I was in and out within 1 minute. This is the third time being here since it's a bit of a drive. Wed probably go once a week if it was closer to us tbh! We typically like to order online since it's faster. This place is more of a takeout style shop so it's a tight waiting area which is why we togo now! There's also seating outside but very limited.

I'm only rating a 4 because I have not been in this location and experienced the service but ordering from here has been seamless. I always order the poke bowl with salad and rice but decided to try the poke nachos with wasabi octopus and shoyu ahi and I'm so pleased. The wonton chips on delivery where still crispy and not soggy which is a plus but the flavors within the nachos just come together no matter what protein you get. I also order the lumpia which is 10/10, I am no stranger to lumpia. I've had the musubi and the fried musubi and I recommend both but for a more fulfilling option definitely go with the fried musubi.

If you're in Dallas and looking for something fresh and amazing, you definitely found the spot! The food is extremely fresh and so delicious. The staff is very friendly and motivated to get you exactly what you want. The food here makes me miss Hawaii for sure! Speaking with the staff, they told me that the owner lived in Hawaii and learned a lot of these amazing recipes. Love it!

Ever since moving to the DFW area a few months ago, we have been coming here every other week it seems. The poke plates and poke nachos are our favorites. The fish is fresh and marinades are flavorful. Honorable mention for the fried spam musubis. We normally order ahead online and dine at the picnic tables in front of the restaurant since they have no indoor dining. They provide cold waters outside and the tables are always clean and have an umbrella attached which is a plus for when it gets too sunny.

My daughter wanted to hit up this place on our way home from Dallas to Houston. Mind you I am not in line to Poke on road trips.... Service was great they have 2 fish options , Tuna and salmon- 2 ways. I am not a fan of Tuna because it's a bloodier fish so it you can taste the iron and I don't particularly like the texture. (Still not a fan but it was really good tuna). The salmon had skin on which I'm not usually inclined to, but the fish was so fresh and the prep was done so beautifully that you can't go wrong- it was like butter. Don't plan to sit inside- take it to go or sit at the benches on the side of the building. I like the concept from a business perspective because they are focused on the product and customer service not having to worry about clean up bussing tables etc. they focus on their food. We got poke bowls, macaroni and the canned drink. For $16 it's a very generous portion I have to tell you, it's not a stingy serving. Haven't had really good poke in a while and I love that they are not asking you to build your bowl you can add and subtract but they know how it tastes good no decisions required

Pine Isle was delicious! I got the fried musubi and mochiko chicken. Every thing is made fresh so it does take a little bit of time, so I'd recommend ordering ahead. They were also running low on a lot of items by the time I got there, around dinner on a Friday. Only outdoor seating if you're hoping to stay and eat so be prepared. My only complaint is I do wish they had pictures of the menu or something that offers a little more explanation in store.

2.5 I wanted to like this place, but it fell short for me. The first turn off was having to wait in line for a pickup order. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online. I ordered the pork lumpia that was just ok. I got the kalua pork plate. The mac salad was very bland and the rice was gross. The kalua pork is absolutely delicious. I won't return, but if you go, I highly recommend the kalua pork, just don't get the rice. It tastes off. The only seating is a few outdoor tables.

My friends got pine isle takeout for me after I delivered my baby. Man oh man was it good. It definitely hit the spot. I think she got me three types: shoyu salmon, shoyu tuna and spicy salmon. I loved all of them! The fish was so tender and not fishy tasting. The flavor was really good. She also got the deep fried musubi and it was amazinnnnngggg. 10/10 would recommend. Would like to go back and try the other dishes!!

This place definitely lives up to the hype! Pine Isle is a take-out only establishment. It's a pretty small space, but I noticed a couple benches outside. We placed a pickup order, and it was an easy transaction with the employee. We got two large poke bowl. I got half rice and half salad with creamy spicy ahi, wasabi tako (octopus), and shoyu salmon. My boyfriend got just rice with creamy spicy salmon, wasabi tako, and shoyu ahi. The fish was very fresh and the flavors were on point! My friends and I agreed that it started getting a bit too salty, but adding more rice balanced it out. I personally wouldn't do all salad because it wouldn't absorb the sauce. Friends got the fried musubi, which had a nice crunch and the same flavors as your typical spam musubi. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu the next time I'm in Dallas!

I LOVE Pine Isle!! It's always an essential stop whenever I am in Dallas. It's worth the hype and the flavors are extremely addicting. The shoyu salmon and creamy salmon are my favorite poke options. Everything I've tried here is sooo good and I am also a fan of the garlic shrimp and kalbi. Pine Isle does not skimp out on portions and I feel the price is very worth it. Always make sure to order ahead to guarantee it hasn't sold out for the day.

I found this place on yelp and decided to try it because of the reviews. I'm glad that I did. First of all I really liked the friendly service. They had Hawaiian music playing so I really felt at home. I let the guy at the register know that I was from Hawaii and he asked if I could taste the food before I left and give him a review. We had ordered the Aloha Family Meal. It comes with 7 scoops of rice, 4 scoops of Mac salad and 3 proteins. We had chicken katsu, kalua pork and kalbi. We paid an extra $2.99 to get the kalbi. It was worth it. I tasted everything and was happy that I chose this place to eat at. Everything was great. This meal is for 4 people but there was only 2 of us. We have a lot of leftovers for the plane trip home. I got some gravy to put on the rice and katsu. They have katsu sauce and curry sauce if you want. I tried the katsu sauce and it's a little different from Hawaii. The curry sauce that they have is a green curry. I really only like Japanese curry so I didn't try it. The rice that they use is calrose and this is what's supposed to be used. I spoke with the owner Andy and he was very friendly. He ended up giving me 2 spam music. I can't wait to eat it on the plane. If I ever come back to Dallas I will stop by as soon as I get off of the plane. People please stop by and give them a try. You won't regret it.

Who knows when I'll get my order. Meanwhile, let's talk about service and ambiance. This place is casual like a coffee shop/Starbucks vibe but not. Service was awesome. The lady was courteous, patient, and helpful. Got my order at 12:33. It took 25 minutes, which isn't bad for a decently substantial order made to order. I used to make the drive to order from their original location. Unfortunately, this spot is not like their original location. I'm disappointed. We ordered 3 combo plates, spam musubi, and fries. The fries were soft like they were undercooked. Flavor was lacking. Spam musubis were good and about the only thing I would order again from here. The combo plates were pretty gross. It was SWIMMING in grease. By the time we got home, the rice had soaked up a lot of the grease so the rice was all greasy. Still, there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the plate. I tried to savage as much as possible, but the rice just felt like I was eating grease. See pics for reference.

Alright now, this place is a gem!…read more I work with someone who raves about this place, and I finally decided to try it. Walking in, the young lady at the register was so sweet and pleasant. I had an online order and arrived a bit early, she politely let me know there would be a little wait, and I did not mind. I would, much rather wait, than walk in twenty minutes early to see my food just sitting there. It is a small space, but one that comes with warmth. What I chose: Mixed Plate Teriyaki Beef - The first bite, YES! The meat was seasoned so well, I was afraid the teriyaki sauce would overtake the flavor; it didn't. Both, the sauce and the seasoning complemented each other very well. The beef was thinly sliced and free of fat. I can't stand enjoying a bite, and out of nowhere, boom, a piece of fat. I'm not a beef person, but I'm so happy I tried something different. Hamburger Steak: I couldn't wait to try this, it's delicious! The patty is plenty and well seasoned; it isn't heavily seasoned, but well seasoned. It was juicy and not dried out, which sometimes happens. The gravy was perfect, and went perfectly with the meat patty. Next time, I will ask for more gravy and onions. I love grilled onions with meat patties. With my order, I asked for steamed veggies, but received rice instead. I don't eat rice often, but this is the one time I was happy with the mishap. I had a small bit with the gravy and patty, delicious!! Sides: Mac Salad and Rice - I didn't order rice; instead, it should have been steamed veggies. As I said above, the rice ended up being a great mishap; it was perfect with my meat patty and gravy. The mac salad, sadly, I didn't like. It wasn't horrible, it just didn't hit the right taste buds. Chocolate Mac Nut Cheesecake: I only tasted a spoonful of this, but it was good. I wouldn't get it again, for me, it was too sweet. They do have another cheesecake, which looks like a plain cheesecake, with a sauce on top. That, I will try. Spam Musubi: There seems to be more rice than what I am used to, so I cut it in half, and it made for the perfect bite. This was more than enough food; I have plenty to take to work for lunch and will have more to enjoy for dinner. I am so happy I visited. I will definitely visit periodically for a hamburger steak, and I am anxious to try their panko shrimp. Add them to your list, it is a must!!
