Nice little shop in Poway selling smoothies and more. The shop was clean, bright and welcoming The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant and helped me order my drink. I decided to go with a Strawberry Pomegranate smoothie. It was sweet and just a little tart. The perfect drink I was craving. I love supporting locally owned businesses and I will definitely return in the future to try other smoothie flavors.

Excellent smoothies, small is all you need, great after the gym or no time for lunch. Just came back from Aruba, tried Pina Colada at hotel and on snorkeling boat, second rate. The one here was better, even without rum.

I've been on the lookout for acai bowls recently! This acai bowl is $11, and comes with granola, banana, strawberry, blueberry, almond, peanut butter, walnut, coconut, and organic blue agave. The portion size is pretty good for $11. Something that makes this acai bowl stand out is that they have a layer of granola at the bottom, middle, and at the top. Sometimes when I'm eating acai bowls, I run out of toppings before I get near the bottom, so I appreciate how they've layered it so thoughtfully. The owner was very sweet, and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. He also spontaneously gave us samples of the acai smoothie. I like how there's a kids' area where kids can sit and color. They also sell some chocolate, jams, and spreads from Hanna's Creamery and Cafe. I really enjoyed my time here, and will be back for another acai bowl and to try some of their other offerings.

Got the Defense Up smoothie, and the young man made it fresh with real fruit. It tasted so good -- not too sweet at all. The pineapple was super refreshing and smelled amazing. Really delicious overall. A bit pricey for 24 oz- their largest size, but it's made with fresh fruit instead of powder like some other places. Plus, the service was fast and friendly. Will be back!!!

Cassie was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We order two smoothies and got a free snack just cause. My daughter had a sweet sunrise and I ordered a defense up. They were both delicious but we both preferred the defense up. The smoothies are made from fresh fruit and a little bit of sweeter is added. This is a great place for a healthy smoothie.

The kind lady running the place is the sweetest ever. Awesome smoothies. Super fresh quality ingredients. Give this place your business as they are highly deserving of it.

Suuuuper cute little smoothie shop with a wide variety of options! FRESH fruit smoothies that look irresistible, fruit bowls (including açaí and Chamoy!), ice cream, milkshakes, Persian treats, and tea+coffee!!! The shop is very bright with good energy and vibes I'm assuming the lady and gentleman who helped me were the owners, but either way, super sweet people with excellent customer service and a homey feel :) :) they gave us several small samples of different drinks that were left over :) You can't go wrong with any of their smoothies- all extremely healthy and full of vitamins and fresh fruit that is cut up right in front of you! Delicious smoothie joint that makes both smoothies and acai bowls. My mom ordered a mango smoothie which was one of the best mango smoothies I've had! Perfect thickness and consistency and mango flavor was sweet and fresh. I ordered the acai smoothie which was good too (wish it had a bit of a stronger acai flavor but still very refreshing) - they also gave us extra little cups so we could try each others smoothies - service was excellent and there very little wait time for smoothies to be made!

A brand new smoothie shop opened in Poway and it's wonderful! Nestled in one cute strip mall, there is plenty of available parking. Everything on the menu is made fresh with fresh ingredients. I tried the green smoothie and must admit it was great. In fact, I really wanted to go get another one today. That's when you know the place is great! So for the smoothies, they are absolutely amazing. I have gone to so many places and have asked for a smoothie but I'd like it to be tart. I don't want any sugar if it's the fruit OK but I like tartness and oh my God they nailed it on the spot, absolutely amazing and now that they have Persian followed there. I ordered the green juice; I asked for pineapple to be added. The juice tasted ONLY of cucumber. I ordered two. Without even telling the other person what it tasted like, she made a face and said "it tastes like nothing but cucumber!" I give it a 1 for the drink an a 2 in total because the ambience helped. It's definitely a cute place and nice for after a work out to relax or catch up on work. Maybe I'll try something different and give it another shot! read more

Was craving a smoothie and this was in the area so decided to try it out. Ali Jooni - it wasn't super sweet or sugary which I liked. The strawberry and kiwi flavors didn't really come through though. I'm guessing strawberries and kiwis aren't in season so the flavors were more subtle. read more

This was our first time trying this place out and we loved it! The kids had the kids meal and I had their banana crunch smoothie. Everything was fresh and delicious and the 2 people behind the counter were very welcoming. We also kept getting little samples of the smoothies they were making and that gave us an opportunity to plan what we will be ordering next time. The have a really cute kids corner with books and color pencils that I thought was absolutely adorable. My only suggestion would be to add almond butter to the menu. We will be back! read more

I've been here a few times now and I just really love and appreciate this spot. They have such an awesome variety of smoothies , teas and bowls. Every time I come in, I feel welcomed and so clean! . I'm always surprised a 32oz smoothie is only $9 and the ingredients are fresh! After the gym this is my spot! They are located at - 12636 Poway Rd #10, Poway, CA 92064 (** make sure you go to the correct location ) Tried açaí bowls & smoothies are amazing and fresh. We tried the ++ Kids Meal ++ which comes with a smoothies or juice, a character toast (cat, bear, etc) and a surprise toy. This is my new go-to for açaí bowls and healthy, refreshing smoothies! Spontaneously came here on a hot afternoon when we were craving an açaí bowl and it's a really good portion size to price ratio. There may not be as many fancy toppings as other places, but all the essentials are there and the taste is actually really really good. I saw how they were whipping up the açaí and there's quality effort there. Came another time and got the Happy Night Energy smoothie which was surprisingly yummy for a very healthy sounding option. Heads up, protein powder is an additional $2.5 and I personally didn't love the taste but the smoothie was good overall. Can't wait to try their other options! In addition, service is always so friendly, it's very clean inside with some seating available and a cute, airy atmosphere. It also seems family owned so get to support a small business too. :) Definitely looking forward to frequenting Pina Smoothies a ton this summer! read more

I came here again and they have the absolute best avocado toast choices ever. They are better than any of the avocado toast served at the farmers market every Saturday. They are absolutely the best. I stopped in on a whim with a friend on quite a warm winter day craving açaí bowls and they did not disappoint! We were welcomed with delicious samples of their Defense Up smoothie and I have to come again to order it, it was so good! They have gorgeous art pieces and dish ware for sale too. The bowls were huge and I felt like I definitely got my moneys worth. Deliciously cold and the fruit toppings were fresh and sweet. The woman that helped us out was just as sweet. She made sure to tell us we could order ahead over the phone and we got a stamp card for next time. Stellar work at this charming and family-friendly business. read more

Cute little HEALTHY spot to grab a acia bowl, smoothie or fruit salad! I didn't know what I wanted but I usually just stick to the simple strawberry/banana smoothie...when I asked what was in it, the two guys working (one was the owner), said bananas, strawberries and ice...I asked what about yogurt, or apple juice or something else....they kinda chuckled at me and said nope...totally fresh fruit and that's it! Being that I worked at a smoothie spot, I always thought that putting those extra in there is what made it so "healthy"...nope.......thats just added calories and sugar!!! While I waited to for my smoothie was speaking to the owner who was telling me about some of the items I wasn't familiar with on the menu. He was so nice he even offered to let me try some! The store front is VERY CLEAN Super friendly staff FRESH FRUIT that you can see, and watch them cut up Pricing is average Serving size is great! Came for the first time recently looking for a healthy option and was surprised with such a cordial and inviting team. They offered some tasty samples and made the order for kids so nicely looking as well as tasty, that I'll be coming back often. First time coming in and would definitely come back- tried two smoothies (Peanut Butter Banana) and (Defense Up). Smoothies were pretty good! They are on a bit of a pricier side compared to Jamba or your other franchised smoothie places but hey small businesses gotta make some money! The person helping us (looked like the owner) was very nice and helpful with recommendations. read more

I love this place! So happy we have this gem in Poway. I had a green smoothie 3 days in a row, so good! I wish they opened earlier, I'd be there every morning b4 work. Sweet family owned and awesome quality of service and products. The prices are so reasonable when comparing to other smoothies joints in SD. Cute ambiance with the bike and back drop wall. Super friendly staff and you can always get samples of their delicious smoothies. I love the speciality toasts and still trying to decide which is my favorite because they are all delicious. I love that you can order ahead for pick up and go or hang out and chit chat, read a book or get some work done on your computer inside or outside. Love this place read more

I politely responded and made it clear more than once that I did not need assistance. I prefer to shop independently, and if I need help, I will ask. Despite this, the employee continued trying to engage, ignoring my clear and respectful responses. At that point, I was already feeling pressured and just wanted to check out and leave. While waiting in line, the same employee approached me again and redirected me to another register, saying he could help me there. I agreed, expecting a straightforward checkout. Instead, the interaction became uncomfortable and frankly bizarre. He asked if I needed a cigar bag. I responded clearly: "Yes." Rather than proceeding normally, he paused, stared at me, and acted as if he did not understand my response. There was an awkward silence where he simply looked at me in a confused and almost performative way. At that moment, I had to say: "I think my English wasn't that bad saying 'yes' after you asked if I need a bag." His response was dismissive: "Oh no, I asked if you need a cigar bag."! This interaction felt unnecessary, patronizing, and inappropriate. What should have been a simple transaction turned into an uncomfortable experience that made me question whether I was being subtly mocked or tested over something as basic as saying "yes." This happened around 3:33 PM on a Saturday. what should have been a quick stop after a long week turned into a frustrating and unwelcome experience. For clarity, the employee's name was John. I expect better from a company like Total Wine. Customers should not feel pressured while browsing, nor should they be made uncomfortable during a basic checkout interaction. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the store and needs to be addressed seriously. I hope corporate reviews this and takes appropriate action to ensure customers are treated with respect and professionalism.

They constantly overcharge compared to the prices listed on the floor. I've bought the same item…read morethree times over the past year, and each time I had to show a photo of the shelf price to avoid being charged more. If you're not paying attention, you might end up unknowingly "donating" extra money to Total Wine. It's baffling that they don't cross-check the shelf tag with the scanned price, even after the mistake has been pointed out so many times. So take a photo of every price tag--or be prepared to "tip" them inadvertently on your way out. Also, their ID policy is asinine. If you're with your spouse and they forget their ID, even if you have yours, no alcohol purchasing for you. But if you're with a child? No problem, come right through, the purchase is yours!
