This place is sweets heaven and maybe every parents worst nightmare because your kids will be begging to buy everything in the store haha :p It's a froyo place with a variety of toppings, several froyo flavors, and a whole wall of cereal toppings. It's 75 cents per oz. I loved the flavors and my favorites were coffee and hazelnut. BUT there's more!!! They have gelato ice cream, candy you can buy by the pound, and a secret candy and goodies store in the back that sells unique flavors and options (prices $3-6 per item)! The store is large and has over 20-25 bar stools and seats. The decor is absolutely adorable with pink all around. The young woman working there was very friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking in the lot. A great place to get your froyo or sweet tooth fix, hang out with friends, or even host a party! Will definitely be returning!

The place is very pink and spacious inside and I loved all the cute decorations. When you walk in the frozen yogurt machines are on the back left wall, toppings and gelato on a little cart island on the left, candy on the back right wall, and the checkout is in a circle in the middle and the cashier was very helpful. My friend and I were able to try out the different frozen yogurt flavors before buying and we were told that any of the candies could also work as toppings which was great to know!

I've visited this place for a few times now. I liked the set up. It's spacious and clean. They have a gelato area, where you can sample different flavors first. There's a topping station and a candy station for topping if you want. There's a cereal and milk station if you prefer something else other than gelato. The best part is the back room where you can find unique treats and snacks. The only negative thing about this room is that some items were already expired. It's a good idea to do a periodic check on the expiration date. Overall, it's a good place to go for some treats.

Before departing Poway recently, I stopped by this family-run business for a cold sweet treat. Although the name was misleading because no gelato was served, the space was HUGE for a dessert shop. It was decorated with bright pink colors and could pass for a frozen yogurt version of Candyland. I do worry that the suite was located in a small strip mall that didn't seem to be busy in the evening hours. The positive was that parking spaces were ample. There were six stations in the back left corner that each dispensed two flavors of frozen yogurt. That seemed to be the standard quantity, however they had the space to offer much more. The price was $0.75 per ounce which was around the typical going rate nowadays with the local shops. What was more impressive to me were the displays and varieties of toppings. There was a standalone bar with the wet toppings near the fro-yo dispensers. Along two of the walls were the candy bins and the cereal cylinders. I obtained a couple of tasters and sampled two of the flavors that were rotated weekly. I decided on the Raspberry Pomegranate and the Mountain Blackberry because they were unique fruity varieties. I swirled them together in a cup without any toppings added. As a first time customer, the cashier gave a 50% discount which was very generous. One corner of the room had three small round tables with chairs and sofas. They could probably add some benches along the perimeter to increase the seating capacity. In a back corner was a secret room that displayed a large quantity of Asian-based candies and snacks. I don't know how many of those products were actually being purchased, but they certainly piqued my curiosity. The opposite front corner had a pink elephant that was social media friendly as people hopped on to pose for photos. Overall, I appreciated how much effort and resources the owners placed into making Gelato Sweetspot a customer-friendly environment.

Such a cute frozen yogurt shop, they had various toppings, candies, and cereal. The hidden room in the back was awesome, I have never seen or heard of most of the brands back there. There was also a refrigerator with international beverages, pretty cool. Even though the business is called Gelato Sweetspot, they only serve frozen yogurt. I got a large half coffee and half coconut bowl and mixed in various toppings. It was delicious and filling and that was my dinner for the evening. It's worth a try, I will definitely come back here.

This is a great place for fun and good vibes. service is absolutely amazing and the workers are so nice. highly recommend and bring your kids. Come on Wednesday for amazing service by Gwen. And great variety of candy and gelato.

Both things that we love, gelato and frozen yogurt. Two things in one place. Tons of topping to choose from. Cute place to enjoy your sweet and photogenic as well. Today is Valentine's Day so they gave back live for their client by giving free frozen yogurt and gelato. What a nice surprised to get from them. So generous ! Thank you so much.

I came back after attending the Yelp Elite Experience here, and I was very happy with the service and the yogurt soft serve. My "complaint" is using the word "gelato" in the business name. Full disclosure: My wife is Italian, and we take our gelato very seriously. That aside, this is a fun place to enjoy some YSS. With a dozen favors on tap and oodles of toppings, I can't wait to bring my twin nieces and grandchild when they visit. Parking in the shared Library Center lot is easy.

Well what a nice way to add some much needed color to Poway Gelati Sweetspot! We were coming home and stopped in for a sweet treat. To my surprise the place was stunning! I grabbed a taster and sampled Georgia Peach and a raspberry pomegranate mix. I opted for the Georgia Peach as it was delicious. I didn't add anything extra from the bar as I liked it just the way it tasted alone. They do offer a military discount, just ask. Five this new place a try and check out the pictures because it's just so cool inside!

Recommended to me by a friend. Came here w/ my daughter. Was a magical place. Very middle school kid friendly. Lots of seating and froyo of course. But the surprise hit was the hidden snack area. Mysterious snacks from around the world. Some of them like coke w different cans was cool. Others were just unique. Defiantly coming here again.

Mix of Stok Cold Brew Coffee , Country Vanilla, and Pumpkin (likely seasonal?) and toppings.

Large, clean, and well-spaced self-serve shop with a full wall of yogurt dispensing machines, two topping carts, and a separate candy room. Seating is ample: window bar with high stools, low tables with plastic chairs, and two padded bench areas. The pink-and-white décor (cow mascot, cloud lights) gives it a bright, family-friendly look. There were 12 flavors on my visit, clearly labeled--LF/NF options and several gluten-free. Pricing is by weight; even the "small" yields a generous portion. I had Stok Cold Brew Coffee Gelato (best of the bunch--true coffee flavor, not overly sweet), Country Vanilla (clean, balanced), and Pumpkin (seasonal, gently spiced, very tasty). Toppings were fresh and varied; I added chocolate pieces, peanut-butter chips, graham bits, Oreo crumble, and a few mini marshmallows. Staff were friendly and answered questions readily.

First impression...pink neon! This place is so spacious with 12 gelato flavors on rotation at 0.75 cents an ounce and lots of topping options. Two bowl sizes. Another area of candy like Sweet Factory for the same price then another area of cereal choices! Don't forget the international snack room. They also have merch. When I walked in, I was greeted and they were giving out cute key chains and stickers. She handed me a few sample cups to taste. I tasted most and settled with strawberry and coconut with toppings of mochi, fruit jelly and gram cracker. I prefer gelato in ice cream form not yogurt form. Sadly I will not return but I can see this as a hang out place for teenagers or after school sports meet up.

Sweetest spot in town! Staff is lovely and were giving out free stickers and keychains. Want some relief from the blazing heat? Stop by Gelato Sweetspot to have a little cup of FroYo! I'll admit, when I saw the name "Gelato", I was confused that it was basically the cutest frozen yogurt spot I've eve been to. Complete with a little phot op corner with a frosted horse cookie and nostalgic ice cream chairs outside. Made me smile before I even walked inside. But alas, no gelato, which was a bummer. All good! My favorite was the Georgia Peach which I topped with Mochi. It was cool and refreshing and had just the right amount of tang and sweetness. My hubby enjoyed their chocolate topped with shredded coconut. Yum. They offer a candy bar and cereal bar as well so if you want something a bit different, grab yourself your milk of choice and enjoy a bowl to satisfy your sweet tooth. We can't wait come back to support this adorable business.

My husband signed up for their rewards so we got $5 off our order. Our pizza was ready by the time we got there and we were able to take it to the back tables to eat. Typically you order at the front and the servers bring out your food to you. They have a soda fountain and napkins and cheese/pepper flakes on the tables or available to grab so it's mostly self serve. You also buss your dishes when you're done. There are a handful of tables and booths in the back room to sit at, however they can be a be a bit dirty and a little wobbly. My husband and I got the supreme pizza which came with pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives. It was covered with toppings which I love but made it a little hard to eat as the bottom was a little soggy. I really liked the ground beef which I don't see too much on pizzas and I loved how it was covered in olives (although my husband who is not an olive fan would disagree). Unfortunately if you want a sauce like ranch for your pizza it costs extra but other than that I really like their pizzas. They also have other offerings like sandwiches, pastas, and wings- and gelato for dessert! I know we'll be back for more here!

On the way back to our hotel, the Marriott Courtyard, Rancho Bernardo. We had just had dinner with 25 of the many other out of town guests, at The Cork and the Craft. Though we had just finished dinner, and had a 5 minute drive back to the hotel, our passenger, (my brother-in-law) expressed that he was still hungry and would like to stop for ice cream somewhere on our way back to the hotel. Not knowing anything about the area, with a very small window of opportunity, I checked Yelp, on my phone, for a good, appropriate place to stop. KOKONUT-Golden Spoon popped up, as being right along our short route back, and with 4.5 stars, a definite YES! We learned that they have an option of frozen desserts made with coconut water, instead of milk. We did not try it. All 4 of us had frozen yoghurt. We were all happy with our selections.
