SO FREAKING GOOD!! Especially the Dole Whip, who needs to go to Disneyland, when we have this right here!! They have an obscene number of choices to create your perfect dessert experience. From the yogurt flavors, to the toppings, the outcomes are endless. The even better part, is that you do not have to wait for the employees to wait on you. Walk in, grab your favorite cup and start creating. You will have it weighed at the end, you pay and you EAT. read more

I came here with a friend after dinner. Normally, my go-to is the plain tart when it comes to frozen yogurt. I was disappointed that the dispenser had runny yogurt, so I opted for the dole whip instead. The dole whip flavor was good, but I would've preferred the plain tart, or a combo of both. The texture of the dole whip was just right, so overall I was happy. I appreciate how they provided sample cups so I could try the various flavors. If you have young kids, they will like it here because the spoons change color when it touches the cold yogurt, then gradually changes back to its original color from the warmth of your mouth. There's also a wide selection of toppings that would put smiles on a little face, and big faces too! My friend went overboard with an assortment of toppings! There's a good number of tables and chairs along one of the walls, which is always nice. I hate it when places don't have enough seating and you have to stand outside. read more

New flavor alert!! Red velvet cake. I got it mixed with ube. So good! My son gives it a 9 out of 10! The teen girls at the front are always sweet and respectful. Nice quiet spot to enjoy a sweet treat. The music isn't too loud and not too raunchy. I always forget they have bananas lol. In case you like bananas like me, don't forget to ask them to add them to your cup! Enjoy! read more

Sweet little froyo spot for my co-workers and I! I hadn't had frozen yogurt for years and then one day, we decided to take our co-worker there after a nice little birthday lunch. It is located in a Poway strip mall near Aldi. I'm an Ube fanatic so I was stoked to hear that they served up that flavor. They also had toppings such as mochi, gelatin and fresh fruit which was right up my alley. They also had a no sugar added strawberry banana froyo as well which my co-worker gobbled up. Everything is priced by weight so depending on your appetite, that'll determine how much you spend. Flavors: Ube, Dole Pineapple (another fave of mine), Chocolate, Vanilla and plenty more. I'm assuming they probably switch out flavors every now and then for variety's sake. Always something for everyone! Service was friendly and efficient. I had read on their website they are a family owned, Filipino-American family which I loved...I'm always trying to support my fellow pinoys and pinays! read more

In the Mix is one of the few mom and pop frozen yogurt shops in the San Diego area that has sugar-free frozen yogurt. I'm diabetic and have been deprived of sweet frozen desserts and a lot of low carb, sugar free ice cream don't seem to cut it for me. Fortunately, In the Mix's sugar free frozen yogurt is great! I got the cheesecake flavor topped with almonds and strawberries. It was sweet, creamy, and smooth! The only thing to note is that they have only one sugar free flavor, but they do rotate it. Hope they have sugar-free ube flavor in the future. Would definitely come again! read more

Delicious and very friendly staff!! Great treat after a long day I will definitely be back when in need of a sweet treat!

Our favorite frozen yogurt place in the area. Wide variety of flavors and toppings. Nice to sit inside or outside. All cups are massive. I do wish they had a mini size for those of us that get carried away haha. Service has varied over the years, but generally some kind teenagers. read more

I was working an event in the area and was craving some frozen yogurt, so I stumbled upon this place on Yelp. The employee was very friendly (I can't remember his name unfortunately) and the ube and pistachio swirl was delicious! I tried other samples before settling on those 2 and I really enjoyed them all, especially the peanut butter. I've been dreaming about it ever since. It's too bad it's not close to my house. read more

Lovely little froyo spot with a great selection of flavors, mostly gluten free (for my gf friends)! I also love that they have non-dairy options like the Dole whip-esque pineapple freeze. I was delightfully surprised by the sheer number of topping selections! Didn't get to snap a photo, but they have hot fudge, mochi, a TON of different candies, cereals, popping bobas, fresh fruits, sauces, sprinkles, etc. Any combination you can dream of - they probably have it! I like my froyo with fruit but the hubby's bowl looked like a mountain of candy. Staff here were so nice, there's lots of seating indoors and outdoors. I loved the random little details like the hand-written flavor signs and color-changing spoons! Very glad to have In The Mix as our local spot and we'll be coming here again and aga to fill up our stamp card! read more

There are some yogurt spots in San Diego that stand out, and this is one of them. It looks like any other yogurt shop, but they have great flavors that may make a brief appearance. My favorites are the pistachio, salted caramel, ube, and the Mexican chocolate. They also have pints available so that you can easily take additional yogurt to go (which I did, haha). I can't wait to see some fall flavors hit the menu :). Staff are super friendly, and they are constantly making sure the toppings are stocked and the counters are clean. read more

"A place where you can enjoy reasonably priced yogurt ice cream with an amazingly wide variety of toppings" Food: We ordered the ube flavor and the original flavor. Both were delicious. It seemed to be around 84 cents per ounce. The yogurt ice cream was very refreshing and tasty. Service: The staff offered us sample tastes and were very friendly. Ambiance: The store was clean and pleasant. We ate inside for a bit, and it was a comfortable experience. read more

We love this place! Their yogurt is delicious, not too sweet & not artificial tasting like others. The place is well kept and clean always. Best of all, the employees are so accommodating & friendly. Particularly, Jadyn and Andrew are the best! read more

Super friendly staff and very welcoming. The frozen yogurt is always fantastic. Highly recommend.

I wanted to leave a very positive review about In The Mix Yogurt. When I asked for pumpkin yogurt , the owner told me that there was no more, and I thanked him and went out to my car. He found that he had one container after all, and rushed to give it to me. He wouldn't even take any money from me! The yogurt was delicious! read more

One of my must have whenever I'm in Poway visiting my family. Small family owned business that just has amazing flavors and a homey vibe

This is a solid frozen yogurt spot in Poway. I took my kids here on a Friday evening, and this place was stellar. It was clean, everything was labeled, the machines all worked, and the toppings were well stocked. I saw quite a few families here, which was comforting because I was alone with my toddlers (aged 2 and 4). We took our froyo to go and we're given very cool color-changing spoons- which my children LOVED. There was plenty of parking outside and ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Here is a pic my picky toddlers enjoying their frozen yogurt. read more

If you are picky and like specific froyo places over most because of the lack of good options you are in for a treat here. I love sweets and have gone into enough froyo places and have left with no froyo. That did not happen last night when I came here. They had enough flavors beyond chocolate and vanilla that I was actually interested in. I think some of the flavors was some salted butter cookie, ube and spooky tangerine were flavors that stuck out to me. Yes they also had strawberry and some kind of peanut butter. It hasd the standard toppings and us like any other froyo place. The staff was friendly and even helped serve a kid after there closed. That kinda service took a 4 star review to 5 stars. I had to make sure I specified what made it 5 stars for the people who see this review and go and say well it's good but not 5 stars. These days too quality service needs to be acknowledged. read more

Had a craving for some Dole pineapple whip so we had to make a trip out to In the Mix to feed our craving. Located next to Vons in the plaza on the other side of Walmart, you'll find In the Mix serving tasty flavors including lotus cookie, strawberry & banana, coffee, tart flavors, ube and of course Dole pineapple :) The staff is also friendly and gave out sample cups for us to try out some of the flavors. Good little tasters that our kids enjoyed sampling. I also liked looking at all of the fun and playful drawings/wall decor too. We'll be back, for you guessed it... more Dole pineapple! read more

Oh In the Mix! You are a neighborhood bright spot. When I see your yogurts marked gluten free I know it's not trendy - on my first visit 14 years ago I asked due to my recently diagnosed Celiac disease. Not surprised by their good reviews. That's what its all about - Building lasting relationships with the community. A good business understands that and that's why we love it here. It feels like family and the owners or main staff always recognize their clients. He always smiles when he sees me and asks about my son. The variety is limited but the ambiance is unique. Love the few selections Great staff, welcoming, serving and kind. We used to stop by almost everyday after picking up my son from school. Now in college, he misses it so much... I still have sometimes to buy him some after work and bring it home. Thanks guys. Please keep up the great work and your values, even as you are growing. Your excellent customer service is bringing us back We also truly appreciate a free froyo on the reward card. Makes it want to come more often, Haha! read more

I was in the area so I dropped in because I have heard good things about this store. Best yogurt place in town! Cute ambiance. Variety of flavors and toppings. Ube & peanut butter the best!

Me and the kids love this frozen yogurt place. They have the best flavors and the service is always great. They give you little tasting cups when you come in so you can try different flavors before you pick. They also have a ton of different toppings you get to put on yourself such as chocolate chips, marshmallows, different cereals, granola, fruits, even fruit jelly. The price is much better than other yogurt places we've gone since they weigh it after you make it instead of charging per topping. You can also get a punch card so that you can get a free ice cream every once in awhile. I think this is by far the best frozen yogurt we have been to. read more
