I specifically did NOT want a natural, messy, wavy look as I already naturally had that. I was told they could do what I was asking for, so I trusted them. Amanda did my perm, and the result was nothing like what I asked for. Instead of defined, intentional curls, my hair was left with uneven, messy waviness that honestly looked half done. What made it even more frustrating was that when she finished, she said, "It looks so natural!" That was literally the opposite of what I had asked for. It looked worse than my actual natural hair, except now I was stuck with it because it was chemically permed. I completed their survey afterward and submitted a complaint explaining how unhappy I was with the service and the result. I never heard a single thing from management or the owners. No attempt to address the situation, no follow-up, nothing. If a salon tells you they can achieve a specific perm style, you should be able to trust that they actually understand what you're asking for before permanently altering your hair. I would not risk getting a perm here, especially if you want a specific curl pattern or polished look.

I have been going there monthly since 2015 and walk out of that shop feeling like a million after every visit. They are a full service salon and I get color every 4-5 weeks with a cut done by Katie. I also get brow, lip waxing. The shop itself is immaculate and homey, the staff friendly and welcoming. As a transplant from NY, I find them very reasonable regarding their pricing and I love all of the products they use and sell. They are all up to date with newest trends and styles. Let me start with one of my favorite things - someone still answers the phone and does the scheduling!!! I'm so tired of places that won't pay for someone to be at the desk, and expect you to contact your stylist personally and play a text game for an appt. Thank you for answering the phone, having a salon wide scheduling system, greeting me when I walked in, and having a regular billing system instead of the stylist having a square! Next, it's clean, bright, and appealing inside. And everyone is friendly. They offer water, coffee or tea. But most important, I love my cut by Dayle! I frequently go from long to pixie short and back to long again, and she didn't bat an eye at cutting off all my length. So many stylists are afraid to do that. Dayle studied my pic, asked me questions, and dove right in! The price is great too - $44 for this particular stylist. And they have easy parking. A great experience all around. I'll Be back!

I ended up having 4 or 5 foils of lowlights (same color as the base color to ensure the base color would blend into my hair well on the top of my head.) I did not have a blow out or haircut. All seemed fine until I went to pay. With a tip my bill was over $300. I was so shocked!!!! I was standing there with wet hair being told that I was being charged that amount when I've never ever been charged more that $125 for the same services for any shop I've gone to in 30 years. The operator said it was because I had thick hair which would be true but never have I been charged more because of it; it was never discussed that the operator had dropped my bowl with the color on the floor and had to refill the color bowl. I politely paid my bill and left in total disbelief. Note... I did leave a message with the shop and after quite a delay the owner left me a message on my phone saying that she accidentally overcharged me by $60.00. Even if you reduced my bill by $60, the cost for services rendered was extremely high... I absolutely would never go back to this salon!!!!

She stopped working on my hair to go speak to him and put her hands through his locs without washing her hands then she returned to her place behind me as if she were going to start but I watched every step until she got near me. Then she said "Yes?" I asked "you mind if we take a bathroom break? " She said sure. So I was hoping they would be done with their talk and she could walk her hands and we could get on with our day. Upon my return she put the towel on my shoulders I asked ma'am please before you start could you wash your hands hands? She began stuttering "yyes of course. I need to go out to my car."
