You can look for that review elsewhere if you want. I was ecstatic that Becky was still here as she was my hairstylist for at least 6 years prior to The Shutdown. I found her after my other stylist moved to up state NY. I can't travel there to get my haircut. But I can travel to Ocean Pines when visiting OC. Don't be put off by the look of business sign (needs some sprucing up) or the exterior as the stylists inside are wonderful, professional and talented group, many have been there for years. I personally go to Becky Ange and from the 1st visit years ago to today, she listens, knows how you look when you walk in & works with you & what you want, either a huge change or keep what you have, but just improve it. My hair always looks beautiful and I always leave feeling so good about myself. I went back to her today as I was tired of cutting it myself & my attempt to find someone closer to home did not work out well & I desperately needed her & ONLY her to fix a bad haircut. Its hard to change hairstylists or feel comfortable. I Walked out today happy & confident.

The shop was also very clean and nicely decorated. Best of all, the price is so amazing $30 for an awesome haircut (and he even helped me style my bangs), hell yeah! I will definitely be back.

Both owners work alongside everyone else; they require all stylists to stay up to date with current trends through ongoing training and classes. I saw Karen's one-star review in May of 2026, and I had to shake my head!! The salon JUST lost two of its staff back-to-back to sudden and unexpected deaths, and it was a sad time for both clients and staff. I have NEVER been treated poorly by anyone at the desk, on the phone, or in the chair. The irony is that her name is Karen. She said she had been going to this shop for years. Wow, what a way to support a business while they are dealing with a tremendous loss. Clearly, they were doing something right up until this time, or she wouldn't have been going "for years." Insert an eye roll right here. Connie does my hair, but I have gotten to know all the girls in the salon and would trust any of them with my hair. Bibi does great nails, and see for yourself: all their tools are sterile! I took pictures of the nail tools months ago because I was SO impressed with this level of care!! You won't find that in the cookie-cutter nail salons that are on every corner.

I regrettably marked my calendar for the wrong date and missed the appointment. Without telling me, they took it upon themselves to charge my card $70.00! It was completely unauthorized and it was for 50 percent of services that I was not even going to get if I had shown up for the appointment. After talking to their GM, they refused to give any of it back. These people are sharks looking for money any way they can get it. Please look elsewhere before going and do not allow them to keep your credit card information; it will not turn out well for you! Brandon, try as you may to justify taking $70.00 from someone who is a loyal customer. You have skewed the facts and they are not true. I never get a blow out and I was scheduled for five foils. I should not be held accountable for your employee who booked it otherwise. I urge you to speak to Jenn. She will verify that I always walk out with wet hair. How you can justify doing this is beyond me, but I do intend to pursue the truth of what went on here in spite of your response. Customers, do not be fooled!

However, the manicure I got was really subpar. I got it yesterday and it's chipping today. It's gel which typically lasts two weeks. I think it was just a young, inexperienced manicurist. I asked SEVERAL times if they do boys' haircuts and was told several times that they absolutely do. The girl who cut his hair, Laura, reassured me over and over that she does boys' cuts "all the time" but yet did not know what a skin fade was. I should have stopped her right then and there and taken him elsewhere but gave her the benefit of the doubt. I had to stand over her the entire time trying to get her to even out his hair and she kept switching tools literally every 10 seconds from straight razor to scissors to clippers with guard to smaller clippers etc etc. It was very clear she did not know how to do a boys cut from the beginning. All she had to say when we walked in and asked if they do boys hair was "no I'm sorry we really don't" and I would have thanked them and gone elsewhere. Don't say you can do a certain cut if you very obviously have absolutely no idea what you are doing. She did not shave any of the hairs on his neck and still had long hairs over his ears. I am completely in shock at how this can even happen at an establishment. I am so upset and the worst part is that they charged $25 for what should have been a 5 minute cut! She didn't even have to touch the top because we are growing it out!! Now I have to try and get him to his regular barber the night before school starts when we get home from vacation and pray they are able to fix this mess. I am hurt that someone has no issue doing this instead or just being honest. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I wrote this review to save the next boy from getting a botched up hair cut. The picture doesn't even fully show how uneven and not faded it is. It looks even worse in person!! My poor little guy
