The new ownership has really elevated this place. It used to be kind of gross. Now it's a decent…read morespot to tan with nice beds and a friendly staff. It's very clean and a convenient location.

Please note when reading this review: I do not normally go to tanning salons, and I probably never…read morewill again. My goal in April was to get a nice base tan so that A) people wouldn't have to be blinded by my pinky-whiteness at my wedding and B) so that hopefully I wouldn't burn too badly on my honeymoon. I achieved this goal. I chose All About Tan because they are close to my house. I have no other tanning salon or experience to compare to, but I can tell you that tanning is definitely one of the weirder things I've done in my life. First impressions: Lots of young Salisbury University cuties running around, so a 30-something like me might feel old. Many types of beds and lamps to choose from. I have no idea what the differences are, and the staff seemed too busy to show/tell me. Or maybe they don't know either. They offered me a tour of the facility, but this never happened (too many rooms in use most of the time). I chose an unlimited one month plan for the basic beds for $53 (makes me wonder how the SU cuties are affording this, and do their parents know this is what they're spending their money on??). They have many tanning lotions to choose from, ranging from $20-$85 (!) per bottle. I did not apply any lotion when tanning, and I got a tan just fine. Very clean facility, although they had a sign up in the washroom warning people to stop urinating in the waste baskets. I would assume fraternity guys may have had a hand (or other body part) in this... The beds and rooms were clean, and they provide disinfected tanning eye wear for your use. Wait time was generally nonexistent or very short. I may have had to wait 15 minutes once. One other thing: I developed a reaction to the UV rays (itchy hives). The staff couldn't tell me what the problem was or how to remedy it. But through getting info from a friend and off the internet, it turns out that the reaction is very common and can be remedied by not tanning every day. I decreased my frequency to every other day and had no further breakouts.
