Christian Johnson is not to be trusted !!! In my opinion. Oh I also contacted the Better Business Bureau. I arrived at 9am and asked if it was OK to bring in my coffee. She said yes. I sat down. And instead of asking me what I wanted to see, she tells me we're watching "Fire". I said nothing. I had my tablet so I could ply games. Or listen to my phone for music or movies or something. She was parting my hair and I offered to assist with the center part. I know the center of my head. She gave me the comb and I did a quick part and gave it back. Ialso offered the ear to ear but she said she had it. She made several phone calls and texts (hands free). She also received several calls and messages. About an hour and forty minutes in a young man cam into the shop. She told him on the phone that he needed to call back at 4pm. She reminded him of that but he said that since he was in the area he decided to stop by. She told him to have a seat. She stopped working on my hair to go speak to him and put her hands through his locs without washing her hands then she returned to her place behind me as if she were going to start but I watched every step until she got near me. Then she said "Yes?" I asked "you mind if we take a bathroom break? " She said sure. So I was hoping they would be done with their talk and she could walk her hands and we could get on with our day. Upon my return she put the towel on my shoulders I asked ma'am please before you start could you wash your hands hands? She began stuttering "yyes of course. I need to go out to my car." While she was out there, I spoke to the young man. I said I am a nurse and before we go to our next patient we wash our hands or use the alcohol based jel. He states that he undestood with covid and all. When she returned she had on a child's head set on her head covering her ears. It had blue teddy bears on it. She went over and said something to him and he left. Then she stepped behind me but not close enough to do any work. She states that she is not going to do my retightenings. I asked why? She said let me come around front. Basically what she had to say equated to a word salad. I asked her what did I do? "I asked you to was your hands. I have a right to request it. You didn't even wash your hands when you stopped my service to touch him. " She said I'm not doing your sisterlocks! I'll just give you a refund. I'll send $200 and $600 back to your card and I'll zelle you $100. The deposit is non refundable." I said " how is th... by this time I am so angry I am in tears. This female is cheating me out of my money and talking about her policy. If she can cancel an appointment in the midst of the appointment but keep the deposit where this is beneficial to only her and deceptive to the general public Is it moral? is it legal? Is it ethical? After 20 years of military service I'm disabled but not so handicapped huh Christian? I love supporting our black businesses however, when it's our own selling us down the river we have to let our people know. BTW She never zelle'd me anything. She kept the extra $100. and sent me the email about it that night.

Don't be put off by the look of business sign (needs some sprucing up) or the exterior as the stylists inside are wonderful, professional and talented group, many have been there for years. I personally go to Becky Ange and from the 1st visit years ago to today, she listens, knows how you look when you walk in & works with you & what you want, either a huge change or keep what you have, but just improve it. My hair always looks beautiful and I always leave feeling so good about myself. I went back to her today as I was tired of cutting it myself & my attempt to find someone closer to home did not work out well & I desperately needed her & ONLY her to fix a bad haircut.
