I tried a few salons when I first moved here 9 years ago and have been coming here for the past 8 years. I absolutely love this salon. Sam is my hairdresser and she never disappoints! She is incredibly knowledgeable about color and gives a great cut. The salon has a great atmosphere and everyone is incredibly friendly. Highly highly recommend!! read more

This review comes from the perspective of someone who works in the industry as well as working for another salon close by. I've had to call on Tyler more then once to help out on a wedding party and found that she does awesome works on updos and makeup. Our clients loved her, our staff loved her, and I know it won't be the last time I call on her for help. Its a great relationship between our salon and theirs. Speaking of great relationships, its rare that this might happen, but when we needed particular product and needed it that day, we called upon Studio 26 and they had it and sold it to us at cost. That says alot about a business and its wonderful owner, Terri. This was the worst manicure I've ever ever had! The pedi was just ok. As a 30+ year professional if you're not capable of giving a perfect or at least close to perfect manicure, you should accept that fact and if you don't want to not work at least acknowledge you weren't up to your usual standards and give a huge discount! I paint my own nails better than this left handed. This was so unacceptable! I felt bad for the lady because she had hurt her pinkie in an accident that morning and was in a lot of pain, credit and kudos for making it to work and trying, but when you looked at your own work on the manicure, you should have said something. The bumps and bubbles in the gel polish was so horrible I came home and re painted them myself. I really should have refused to pay for my nails being ruffed up, the awful edges, and the horrible paint job. They may do GREAT hair here, which I know nothing about because I wasn't there for my hair. When I made the appointment I should've been told the lady doesn't really do gel manicure/polish. I wouldn't have made the appointment. Don't get your nails done here unless maybe you want regular polish. Ugh so disappointed! read more

I was in Fenwick on vacation. I was at the point where I felt my growing out was too grown out and I did not feel like dealing. I had two salons on my list to try this one, and not this one (see what I did there?). I called the other place first and they could not see me right away, but the referred me to Studio 26. I called and if I could come in within about 30 minutes, they could see me. I said yes and headed out. I was assigned to Sam. One thing, she was great. I explained what I wanted, she made some suggestions and away we went. She did exactly what I pictured in my head. I got a haircut, color and few highlights. I was so glad that I sat in her chair! Sam was fun to talk to, we laughed and made great hair together! She is creative and most of all, fun! Great salon. I will return on my next trip to the coast! read more

I've been a client of Janet's at Salon 26 since 2013. Janet does an amazing job! She's the best hair stylist I've had in over 20 years. I was referred by a friend because I liked her hair style and I asked who did it. I always love the cuts Janet gives me and she does a fabulous job on my color and highlights. I always get compliments on my hair. She also makes good suggestions when I'm looking for a change. The salon has a very warm and friendly environment. I happened upon this wonderful salon by searching the internet this morning for a haircut and eyebrow wax. ( I am new to this area) Starting with the phone call for the appointment, I was greeted warmly and professionally, the entire time. The salon has plenty of parking, is clean, inviting and full of friendly people. I had the pleasure of having Tyler as my stylist, she asked me what I needed/wanted, listened and followed through. One of the worst places I've gotten my hair dyed! I really needed a root touch up while visiting the beach and although I admit getting dark hair blonde can be tricky, I feel like the girl forgot to put bleach in! I don't even remember who I had but the girl said she was the "color queen"(Obviously not!!!). I'm not sure if it was the lighting or what but it looked ok when she was finished but as soon as I got home I realized she missed multiple HUGEEE strips of hair I mean really it was wild, it looked like nothing was done and I had to drive all the way to Salisbury to get it fixed. Love, love, Looooove this place. They are my go to when my 'do goes doodoo. :-) I am a salon snob, and I love this place, if you didn't get that already. You can't go wrong with any of the experienced staff. Much better than other salons in the area. This salon and All About You Aveda are the areas best for sure. It is my understanding the two salons refer each other all of the time. If you want Aveda go to the gals at All About You, but if you're in need of a new stylist and don't have a preference about what products they use just go to the one that matches your scheduling needs! My cousins and I have visited this salon twice now. Everyone there is very friendly and easy going. You will be impressed with the level of knowledge the staff here possesses.
