Each hole feels different, which makes the game competitive and funny at the same time. The atmosphere is dope. Dim lighting, good music, and a chill vibe that makes it more than just regular mini golf. It is easy to relax, talk trash, and actually enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Staff was friendly and the place was clean and well run. It is perfect for groups, birthdays, or just something different to do in Sacramento. We had a great time and I would definitely come back again

It was indoors and underground and perfect for a rainy day group activity! We actually parked at DOCO for lunch and it was an easy walk to Old Sac. It just so happened to fall on May the 4th so there was Star Wars music the whole time and themed lights. Also some Cinco de Mayo decor along the course as well. We did the full 18 holes as three separate groups of 4, staggered, pencil scorecards. The theme is Gold Rush and the gal giving the intro spiel was really into it. You're starting from Missouri on your way to Sacramento, gathering supplies and surviving the journey with hopes of striking gold. Rules (no big swings, play thru) and putters/balls provided. Each part of the course had detailed murals and props to make it feel immersive. Examples include longhorn cows, snowy pine trees, wagon wheels, TNT dynamite, a saloon, a jail, even the river itself. Some holes had spinner wheels which gave bonuses or handicaps. Hole #1 had temporary obstacles (buckets) but that was the only one. Some holes straightforward but others challenging to complete in less than 3 strokes. Overall a fun activity. Good luck going for a hole in one! Always neat to roam the historical Old Sac underground city sections. Since you are underground though, phone/data signal might be weak, keep in mind if you need to add more time to metered parking via an app or something. The rest of this week they have Cinco de Mayo, Revenge of the Sixth, and Mother's Day free photobooth session. They do have upgrades and different pricing for adults, seniors, kids. Snacks and drinks available for purchase too. Located next to Vampire Penguin, down the stairs.

We brought the kiddos here to burn off some energy from being cooped up in the rv all week…read more We started with mini golf and had a great time. The courses were challenging, but not too hard, and not too easy. Everything was kept up and clean. Looking around the course while we were playing I didn't notice any thing dilapidated or broken. It took us a little while to get through the course because of the kids, but it was very enjoyable amd we all had a great time. With it being early February and pretty cold out, alot of the outside attractions were closed. We came right after breakfast on a Sunday, so those could have been factors also. We decided to go inside and play in the arcade. Unfortunately alot of the games were out of order. There were some that we scanned our playcard and took the funds, but didn't start the game. We went to the counter and let them know and they kindly reloaded our cards. It happened a few times and honestly I think they were starting to think we were trying to scam them into recharging our cards. Either that, or we weren't swiping the card correctly. Neither of those were the case and we offered to show them which game it was each time, and offered to demonstrate with our card how it took the money and didn't start. They said that wasn't necessary, and a staff member would walk over with us so they could figure out what was going on and put a sign if necessary. The little photo booths are fun, but again, there are two and only one was working. All in all the facility was very clean and kept up. I noticed there were staff members constantly walking around picking up trash, and forgotten items from other guests. There were even a couple wiping down games and sanitizing them. I appreciate that cause well, you know...kids are gross including my own sometimes lol! Since we had just come from breakfast we didn't eat here, but the snack bar looked decent, expensive, but in a place like this that is to be expected. There were plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your snacks/food and if not being used they were clean. The restrooms were clean, there was a sewage like smell in the women's room, but it wasn't too overpowering. Not worth complaining about. All in all we had a good time here, spent quite a bit of money between the arcade and the mini golf, but the kids had fun so thats what matters most right?

They had so much stuff / golfing, go carts, bowling, arcade and a food bar. The food was decently priced and actually really good! Did some arcade games & go carts. And is on the same floor as the Casino. It's really close to the parking garage. The temperature is warmer than the Casino and make it more pleasant. I don't belive you can smoke in the apex. I didn't even see anyone vaping either. Soon as we walked in the Apex we spotted the food court. They have really good deals on food and drink. There is no need to go to the steakhouse or Buffett if you are just looking for a quick meal of burgers or pizza or the like. In Addition this is a quick alternative if you don't want to waste time eating as you are more into playing games or gambling or watching a sporting event. $6 for a beer, $3 for a soda and $9 for a personal pizza. They have tacos, wings, burgers, salads and much more. All reasonably priced. See photo for pricing details. They have a nice looking sports bar with a full bar in the center and lots of tv screens and a giant ticker wraps around the room. They have DJ trivia Wednesday nights at 7pm. They offer hurricane slushy drinks and Kings drink specials. Behind the Sports bar they have virtual golf that looked fun. We saw 2 people playing. They even had the whole set of gloves in a bag. Next time we have to play golf. In the arcade we saw some people having fun in a virtual reality ride. The ride was swinging them all over as they looked thought there virtual reality googles. The arcade has lots of arcade games (like Mario and Harlow, motorcycle and car driving games.), pinball machines, and a giant claw machine. We didn't try any games on his trip. They have indoor Go-cart races that require you to wear a helmet. The track is all lit up with neon lights. It's a pretty big course from what I can see. Six people were exiting the course when we walked by. They were all excited, filled with adrenaline and chattering about the good time they had. Lastly they have a bowling alley, it was pretty big, but not big enough to hold a private event there and have free bowling at the same time. When we were there it was being used by a private event. They have 18 interactive lanes. SUN - FRI UNTIL 5PM | $40/HR PER LANE and FRI 5PM - SAT | $45/HR PER LANE. Pricy, but I think that's still around the price of our bowling alley is back home. Shoe rental is $5 and if they have socks on hand it's $3. This looks like a really fun place to hang out and store your kids for a few hours while you gamble. It is expensive though and all of the machines take their cash card, like the casino rewards card they have a card system so there is no spontaneity when it comes to wanting to play a single game or two. This is how our BlVD is back home in Sacramento and probably how Dave and Busters is so it's not uncommon, but I prefer putting cash in a machine. When you pay cash you aren't committed to using a certain amount or making sure you have the right amount on your card. I really avoid these places do to this. Back in SF you can go to the Musee and it's a cash business. That's more my style. Next time my husband said we're skipping the Buffett and eating here or the steak house. Though once he sees the prices of the steak house, we'll be coming here for a burger.
