The garden area for the ceremony was so clean and had a lot of beautiful greenery and florals for our spring wedding. Cocktail hour was on the covered patio (with fans and low tables and chairs that made it more comfortable for our older guests) and had a beautiful view of the course. The conservatory (where we had the reception) was absolutely beautiful and the venue just recently had their ceiling draping permanently installed, and it just made it that much more beautiful in there. One of the things I loved about this venue was that everything was in one location, which made it easy for our guests to move from one area to the next. Everything turned out exactly how I envisioned and a huge part of that is thanks to Kelle, our day of coordinator. She made sure that everything ran smoothly, that the decor was placed where I wanted it, and that we were all taken care of. Throughout the whole planning process, Kelle was always so upbeat, helpful, and had great communication. She was always available for any of my questions and was very accommodating with any and all requests my parents and I had. The GBGC staff was extremely professional and very attentive to my husband and I and our guests the whole day. One of the biggest highlights that my friends and family are still talking about (almost two months later) was the FOOD!!! I can't even keep track of how many people have complimented and raved about the food at our wedding. I didn't realize this initially, but the venue tray passed both food AND drinks during cocktail hour. This was so nice for guests to focus on mingling and enjoying the atmosphere rather than waiting in a line the whole time. The appetizers we chose were the veg flatbread pizza, coconut shrimp, and the teriyaki beef skewers. All of them were absolutely delicious! The one thing my dad said was that the guests who were sitting at tables at the furthest end of the patio weren't able to get many appetizers because the GBGC staff were coming out the door on the opposite end and were getting swarmed by the other guests before they made their way down the patio. My dad mentioned this to the staff and they were quick to make adjustments and started sending waiters out the farthest door to get to those other guests. This was so appreciated! For dinner, we chose the beef short ribs, the chicken, and the mushroom ravioli. ALL meals were devoured and once again, my friends and family were raving about how good everything was.. even the bread and butter! Lol. It truly was our best day ever and a huge part of that is thanks to Kelle and the venue! I am so happy we chose to get married at Granite Bay Golf Club and would highly recommend this venue for any of your future events!

Instead, he hit me with some honest (but much-needed) truth: I need to work on my consistency before investing in new gear. And honestly, I really respect and appreciated that. Sadly not many birdies but I'm sure thats par for my course. The greens are well kept, course is wide open for the beginners like me, and the trees beautifully line up the fairways. Its forgiving and for high handicappers, its a good track. Clubhouse had a ton of food options and beer selection too. Big bonus as I enjoyed the post round meal. Will def be back to hunt for birdies.

Golfer report: My first ever visit. Played golf. No restaurant visit…read more Checked in with pro shop. The 2 guys at the counter were super friendly, happy and helpful. The clubhouse is welcoming, well maintained, & clean. The golf course is challenging. If you love trees you'll love this golf course. It's literally a forest with a golf course hidden within. So this track is not for beginners nor golfers who spray the balls in every direction. Shot accuracy is mandatory if you want to score. The turf conditions are excellent. Fairways are healthy green and on this late September Monday were mowed at a welcoming height. There's no real rough or large penalty areas to lose golf balls on most holes. The challenge is getting the ball back into play when it's behind a stand of trees. I walked the course. It's relatively flat, so if you are in physically good condition the 7,000 yards (with meandering to and fro) is good exercise. Walking green fee is around $40. For the price this golf course is a value bargain. And check out the golf course electric scooters! I'm going to rent one the next time I play here. Recommended.

Thomas told me to bring it in so they could determine whether it would be covered under warranty. Based on everything I had read online, I was expecting to be without my driver for well over a month. Instead, I was back on the course with a brand-new setup in less than two weeks. Throughout the entire process, Thomas was prompt, communicative, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept me informed every step of the way and made what could have been a frustrating experience completely stress-free. I'm truly grateful to have Mathers Golf Course as my local course. Unfortunately, the previous group did not vacate the bay until around 8:10 PM, and we did not get into the bay until 8:12 PM. We were then also set up and the group got drinks. Despite this delay, we were told during setup that we would still need to leave promptly at 9:00 PM due to another reservation. While we complied, it was frustrating to be rushed out when our reservation had already been cut short through no fault of our own. We were shortly told afterwards that the reservation afterwards would not be showing up and that we could stay the extra 10 minutes that was delayed at the beginning of our reservation. We accepted, but this was not the experience raced about by many others in the community. This experience wasn't about the money, but about fairness and professionalism. Reservations should be honored for their full duration, and customers shouldn't lose paid time due to scheduling issues. Given this experience, I'm hesitant to return. The owner demonstrated exceptional understanding and attentiveness, diligently listening to both parties involved and providing me with the precise information pertaining to our reservation. Although our party's experience was not entirely satisfactory, it is important to recognize that this is a small business located in Elk Grove, and it deserves an opportunity to thrive within the community.
