I have made three trips to this location and every time the great folks there have given me material for my Grandson to practice welding on. Since I have a…read moresmall truck that only holds 1/2 ton at a time comfortably they let me take 1/2 ton and come back for the other 1/2 ton (same day) and charge me the less expensive 1 ton rate instead of 1/2 ton rate x 2. Most recently I wanted the 3/8 inch which they told me comes in a minimum of 10 tons delivered. I felt like it was a reasonable price for an enormous amount of rock, especially delivered. I was happy with the delivery and quality of material.

On a random test, about 40% of their 1/2 size is actually significantly smaller than posted size. Look for an honest company.

Their selection of wood is top notch as I have always been able to find what I am looking for every time I go to their warehouse. Although this please is mainly commercial business oriented, they are still service friendly and always willing to answer any questions. Two of the main reasons why I go to Peterman's is the customer service and the quality of wood for the price. Due to the type of work I do, I often find myself searching for the perfect board. Sometimes, this board is at the bottom of a pallet and stacked up on other pallets. The employees always volunteer to help get the board I am looking for. Although appointments are strongly suggested, we lucked out on a quiet morning and were greeted by Mark Reardon in the showroom. He walked us through the steps of selecting several styles of doors we liked and offered suggestions AND information about their doors! The quality is amazing. We needed HOA approval on the design and color, so Mark prepared a document with ALL the information required to secure approval, which came quickly. Mark came out to measure and the door was ordered. About 10 days later, our door was installed and it looks AMAZING! The installers were efficient, professional, tidy and did a great job explaining the best way to care for the door and to use it correctly. Our entire experience was professional and efficient. This morning, we were able to open our front AND back door for airflow, and feel secure and safe with a security door in front!. We were able to secure a few discounts by paying cash and taking advantage of some specials offered on their website . The store is worth every penny!
