We called Blake out again to which he set more traps, identified entry points around the outside of the house, and sealed everything up. He was kind, polite, and very knowledgeable. He showed us what he was doing and why. I personally love when I learn the "why". After sealing up the house, he came back 2 weeks later to check on the traps and see how things were going. Their service comes with a solid warranty and any new critters we encounter, just give them a call and they'll come out to check, diagnose, and fix. Earth Pest Control quoted me $550 for the service. Their email specifically stated that the service included the initial visit plus 4 follow up visits, for a total of 5 visits. I paid the $550 and they coordinated scheduling directly with my tenant. About a year later, I discovered they had only come out twice. The other 3 visits I paid for were never performed. I reached out four separate times asking what happened and received no response. I finally called them today and was told they apparently couldn't reach the tenant, so they simply stopped trying. The problem is that I was the customer who paid them $550. Nobody contacted me to tell me they were having trouble scheduling. Nobody told me they were discontinuing the service. Nobody offered to reschedule the remaining visits. When I asked them to either honor the 3 remaining visits or refund me for the services they never performed, they refused. That's unacceptable to me. If you sell a customer a package of 5 visits and only perform 2, you don't just keep the money for the other 3 because you had trouble reaching the tenant. At a minimum, you contact the person who hired and paid you. Unfortunately, they have chosen not to honor the service I paid for. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Earth Pest Control.

The reason that I called Orkin since I called "Critter Control" who quoted me a price of $1900 for removal and cleaning and another $1300 for mitigation services which is excessive. Orkin agreed to a price of $350 and on 8/15 to come between 1000-1200 on 8/18. Never sent a contract. Never showed up and I texted the Orkin contract person x 2 and call voicemail x 3. Finally called the Naperville office (630-449-7236) and was told I was not on their schedule (I never signed the contract which was never sent) and I was told that the person that I was texting was not working on 8/18. I was told they could come on 8/19 but when I asked for a $50 deduction for my time of waiting for the appointment, I was told no way. Will never use Orkin nor Critter Control and I did it myself.
