HELP! Last weekend…read moreI was at my wits end after flies invaded my condo. I just sat down to eat dinner, soup and bakery bread, when a hideous fly decided to land on the bread. Dinner was over and it al went into the garbage. Within the next hour or so, it was apparent that the fly wasn't alone. We have had this issue before, where insects enter through the vent gaps between the sheet metal and drywall. It was in the 90's, so I had all the windows closed and the A/C on. Seeing the good reviews and Yelp Guarantee, I gave Jaime a call. He had a cancellation and was here the next day. He identified the pests as Cluster Flies, which don't carry the vector of diseases that House Flies do. He was very thorough investigating the issue and easy to work with (later I noticed that the Yelp guarantee wasn't applicable, because I called and didn't schedule online). After the initial treatment, the flies, trying to escape, clustered into my half bath, which was good because they were now contained. I called Jaime out a second time and he treated the room, ceiling and window sills. He was very careful treating my unit because I have lung issues. None of the products used aggravated my lung condition. Our new Home Owners Association was AWOL. Yesterday I learned that my upstairs neighbor was having issues with the Cluster Flies. I was contacted by the Condo Board President. Today he informed me that the treatment took care of my neighbors problem as well. Since more than one unit was involved, I will be reimbursed for the service call. The billing itself wasn't that helpful for me to establish responsibility and shift the cost to the Condo Association.
