When he asked my purpose for replacing the foam, he listed 4 reasons people replace cushions and suggested that if the foam was comfortable, it didn't seem that old or in need of replacing. My experience was that Cushion Works is competent and efficient but they are honorable. Gary could have done the job, charged $650, but he didn't let money drive the encounter. I walked away with more information and no cost, as I decided to follow the expert recommendation. Ethics and kindness come first at Cushion Works.

It's starting to fray a little, so time to get a replacement but the quality could not be beat. Samuel Scheurer did replace it with another product, but that didn't last another year. Today, I noticed the top sheet has holes in it--4-5 years after I purchased it. I cannot recommend Leitner linen. I am replacing with Linoto products, while not as elegant, they do not shred.

Not much sofas and chairs, but more like decoration. What I also liked about my visit was that there was an outside part of the store for the succulents and items that complemented it. I felt very confident making such an important purchase with Ben, a third generation Iranian rug dealer. He has expertise and passion all wrapped up in one! I own a small hotel consulting firm, it is just me... and days I am not meeting clients I am fairly dressed down. Well I misunderstood they were a corporate place, vs a normal office depot style store where I could purchase a chair.... and they took my misinformed, confused, dressed down, cold calling, nobody no-name self and treated my like royalty. I was DULY impressed, as they patiently showed me $800 - $5000 chairs slightly outside of my price range. Christina, possibly a principal and definitely the Director of Design & a project manager, stopped her busy day and schedule to sit with me and talk about my needs, and what they might be able to offer. I settled firmly on the ES Sum Highback Task Chair as versatile, comfortable, and overwhelmingly badass. Then the next day prior to purchasing I realized I am just a man in a small home office, started to cry that I would never have that chair, curled into the fetal position in my clothes in the dark bathroom, wrapped in the shower curtain, silently sobbing between gulps from a plastic bottle of vodka. The only associate that seemed to be working, a shorter woman with curly shoulder-length black hair, was in the far back unpacking shipment with what appeared to be two delivery men. We wandered around in the front of the store toward the middle and were never greeted or acknowledged - we were walking around and talking, so I'd be surprised if the store associate didn't recognize we were there. The phone at the sales counter started ringing, so the associate walked out of the back and past both myself and my husband, in two different sections of the store and completely ignored both of us. Not a hello, head nod, middle finger, nothing. She then answered the phone and was condescending to the person on the other end. We simply left; no reason to spend another minute or money in this location. I'd rather she had been rude to us than simply acting as if we didn't exist. We've visited several Jonathan Adler locations and have a lot of his pieces but this visit was epically bad.
