Some of their pizzas and dishes are out of the ordinary, flavor was good but nothing out of this world... we tried the Pepe fries, pep and CBW pizzas, and shared the brisket pasta, overall ok but way too greasy (not sure if adding 2 cups of olive oil on everything before serving is supposed to bring extra flavor...). This is a nice new spot in a very busy area. Lots of restaurants to choose from, but I'm happy we went here. The decor is right up my alley. Kind of Art Deco meets mid-century modern, relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious. I had a braised beef pasta with sauce that I literally drank. This whiskey smash was tasty too. Our server was very attentive and as sweet as can be. We were there during a pretty crazy dinner rush, but everything came out smoothly. Great time with good friends. They warned the kitchen was a little backed up but I swear our food came out in less than 20 minutes so if that's backed up their standards must be high. The menu is straight forward but has a good variety. I love the cocktail menu being familiar with little touches of unique. I had the Calabrian Chili Paloma and it was the best Paloma I have ever had. It's not spicy so don't let that stop you from trying it. The pizza and pasta options are straight forward but offers a red, white and pesto so something for everyone. I had the white pie, the dough is amazing really soft and airy but still has a nice bite. My wife was very disappointed because they advertise gluten free pizza options however they had no gluten dough available. The chicken served with the pesto pasta tasted frozen. It definitely wasn't fresh grilled chicken. The bbq bolognese was made with brisket and spaghetti. It had a Smokey flavor that was very strong and I couldn't even taste the marinara sauce. To preface, my experience here today was rather mixed, so I will try to keep everything categorized. Atmosphere, 50's/60's retro, but modern at the same time. Italian menu, handful of pizza options, a couple pasta dishes, simple, but in a good way. 4/5 Drink, Strawberry Basil Gin Fizzie, fruity but not overpowering or strong. Does not mask the taste of gin, but the gin is not overpowering either. A solid drink. Do recomend. 4/5 Calamari has okay flavor, with the garlic and pickled banana peppers, and crunch, but over all unimpressive. It is decent, I'm not saying don't order it, if you really enjoy calamari it will not disappoint you, but the artichoke dip might be a better bet. 3.5/5 Chicken Parm is all good. Marinated chicken provided for a nice tenderness. Good flavor and crunch to the breading. Pasta cooked well with a nice flavored marinera, but a bit garlic heavy. Fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato marinera. This dish over all I would say a good choice. 4.5/5 Server, Sam, was very friendly, attentive and pleasant, nothing but praise there. 5/5 Pet friendly patio. Child friendly. Has a small parking lot conveniently on property. "Vegan" and "Vegetarian" options. Air quotes explained below. NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY. This is where the review gets conflicted. Although they have "vegan/vegetarian" options, this mostly applies to those with dietary preferences, not to those with allergies. Even though the time of day we went, a little after 6, the restaurant was only one third full, the kitchen stated "it will be hard for them to avoid cross contact" something I would expect more from a good truck, than a popular two months old restaurant in the Mills 50 area of Orlando. For my partner whom has a few major food allergens, basically could not order anything on the menu, due to an unwillingness to avoid cross contact. Mind you, the kitchen manager came to our table, said this, my partner explicitly asked if she can eat ANYTHING here, to which they said no. Only after pointing out that she was yelp elite, did they decide they could cook "something special" (their exact words) for her. The "special dish" is described below. This demerick again only applies against those with major allergens, such as egg and dairy. Mind you that also means those "vegan" and "vegetarian" options are also at risk of contamination, so please keep that in mind for vegan and vegetarian guests. My partner was basically prepared a "20$" bowl of rigatoni, olive oil, oregano and garlic. Mind you, you can buy an entire bottle of olive oil for about 10, a box of rigatoni for 3, and oregano for 2, garlic for 1. Yet here we are. Also the rigatoni she was served was not even fully cooked, if it was, it turned to rubber. Mind you, at most places a chef checks the food to see it it is good, and they apparently gave the thumbs up. This is the "something special" they decided would be a good non-dairy, non egg substitute, for literally just marinera and noodles. I'm still not entirely sure how asking for the Spicy Sausage Tortiglioni with marinara instead of the cream based vodka sauce, turned into "we can't cook anything for you" to "oh you're a good critic? Here, have oiled pasta." If you have a seafood allergy, I might also avoid this place, as they do serve shrimp and squid, and if they can not guarantee avoidance of cross contact with egg and dairy, I would not hold my breath about seafood. Back when I personally worked food service, with food safety certification mind you, it was drilled into us to avoid cross contamination as much as possible so as to better serve ALL guests. My partner was not welcomed here. The only good service seemed to be from the servers. We will not likely be back due to how she was treated and how her food was prepared. It seemed fairly disrespectful. Again, this is only in the case of food allergens, of you and your party have no major allergens, then in that case I see no reason to not enjoy yourselves, as it is fairly good food. But please do not bring people with allergens or dietary restrictions here. 2/5 read more

We started off so well...bartender and drinks were great. So we are still waiting for my friend's pasta. The pizza appears to be good. The pasta is lackluster,at best. Under seasoned pesto and carbonara. I ordered it with shrimp...don't have shrimp. The service...lacking would be an understatement. Also one appetizer came out right before the mains. My wings...didn't come out until most everyone, who got food, were done--and after no less than four reminders to at least three employees. Given they are busy but right now my friend's wine glass is empty and the water is also totally empty. As I was writing this my friend gave up on ever getting her carbonara, and based on the other birthday girl's experience has now just cancelled the order and is eating her husband's pizza. The one birthday girl who did get her carbonara...has given up on it's being edible, as it has zero seasoning and is eating her husband's pizza as well. What has happened here. Ordered the Big Mo pizza. Its was so soggy and way too much sauce which didn't allow for the other flavors. The Spicy Rigatonj tasted like it was made a few days ago. Fresh pasta dishes don't stick to the pasta like this one did. Not spicy at all and more ground beef than sausage. The wings were soooo Smokey we couldn't eat them. Was waiting so long with excitement to try this place and my final thought is "pretty good" You make a reservation on "Resy" ahead of time but the bar is first come first serve. Was waiting about 15 minutes to be seated even though I made a reservation but they had JUST opened so i'm sure they were just fingering it out. We visited Pigzza for the first-time last week. It was an amazing experience. The food, service and vibe were exceptional. Our server, Taylor, did an excellent job. He brought us the drink and cocktail menu first. Nice touch. We were able to order our drinks and relax before ordering our food. We could see the kitchen in action. It is impressive that in a short two weeks, they have created such an effective team and great culture. We loved the food. The pulled pork pappardelle was so good. Although it is a different twist on pasta, it did remind me of Tuscany. Very nice and not overburdened with the sauce. We also had the pepperoni pizza. One of the best pizzas we have had. I think I'm the only person not impressed but I have a reputation at home for being frugal and to Start $10 for a draft beer was a bit of a surprise. We had Calamari for appetizer, generous portion but a bit too much breading, I had the Pasta with sausage which tasted good but all was very heavy!!. This is my second time coming to Piggza and both times were excellent! I've been living in Mills for almost a decade and this is a great addition to the area. The establishment is very nice- love the art on the building next to the patio very fitting ambiance for Mills50. Service was great and staff was attentive, most importantly the food was fantastic! I've tried both The Pig Floyd and CBW pizzas and both were yummy, Caico de Pepe fries were tasty and enough to share between the 4 of us. Pasta was fresh and delicious- we loved the rigatoni! We loved it. We sat on the patio on one of the first cool nights of the fall and the ambience was couldn't have been nicer. Our server was great; she was super busy but never left us feeling unattended. I had the pepperoni pizza, which I thought was really solid and my husband had the spicy sausage tortiglione and he loved it. Been waiting for this place to open for a little while now and unfortunately the experience was very very disappointing. The place was only about half full and the hostess was unable to sit anybody saying that the rest of the tables were for "overflow". After having to persuade the team that we were willing to wait instead of just leaving we waited about 5 minutes for them to decide it was okay to use the overflow as overflow and seat us. Once seated, it took a while to get the initial waters and drink orders in, and that was the last time we saw the waitress for 20 minutes. No extra water, no drinks, and no opportunity to order. I wish we had the opportunity to experience this place but unfortunately the service was so bad we didn't get the chance to do so. The entire restaurant seemed to be delayed and poorly ran. I'm hoping the kinks are just being worked out but right now it is a pass. The closest pizza to a NYC pie I've had in FL so far, but it comes at a price. I ordered the large 18" to go pepperoni pie and the cheese bread, which came out to around $36 total and was quoted 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant and went inside to pick it up. Overall it was a super cute restaurant with tables both inside and outside on the patio. The pizza wasn't quite ready yet, but it ended up about true to the 15 min time they originally told me. The pizza itself was amazing! It brought me back to my childhood in NJ/NYC. The crust was cooked perfectly, the sauce was also perfect, and the toppings were plentiful. The cheese bread wasn't my favorite since it didn't have enough cheese to really notice it, but the pizza definitely made up for that. Overall, I would absolutely eat here again, and it's definitely going to become my new go to pizza joint. The only thing I wish was for the prices to be more in line with other pizza restaurants in the area. It is a terrible place to bring kids if they are picky eaters in any way. It will seriously limit your options. I would not go back. We have been waiting to go to this restaurant because of such the buzz that surrounded it. What an utter disappointment! We ordered the french fries and chicken wings for an appetizer. The chicken wings were extremely undercooked. Actually there was blood next to the bone. They took them back and we made them but did not take them off the bill after I had already bitten into raw chicken. Then our entrees came out. My son is extremely allergic to mushrooms. It is stated on the reservation that we made that he has a food allergy. There was no mention of mushrooms in the dish that he ordered. The reason he ordered it was because of the lack of mushrooms. After having six or seven bites he picks up a big brown chunk and looks at me and says does this look like a mushroom? And yes it was! So he had to reorder his food. They didn't comp that either even though it was a major mistake on their part by not having it listed. So to screw ups, no compensation. My shrimp pizza had tasteless and unseasoned chunks of shrimp. Probably about 10 for the whole pizza. The pepper sauce they put on it was so heavy you couldn't taste anything. Anyways, why you would put that much pepper sauce with shrimp that has a delicate flavor I don't know. On top of that the bottom of the pizza was burnt to a crisp. All you could taste was the burn. I literally ate two pieces. I felt bad because our server was very sweet so I did get a box. So when I got home the box and the pizza hit the trash can. $22 unedible. I love seating at the bar so no problem. Whitney the bartender say hi and ask for our drinks. I noticed they only have Peroni on draft but they do have a good selection of white and red wines, sangria and cocktails. We ordered calamari and a pepperoni pizza for lunch. I believe there is only a one size pizza. Our pizza was pretty good, same as the calamari. No complaint. I noticed there was a lot of employees for this small place. It felt crowded. Finally tried Pigzza with mixed results. The setting is awesome- they did a great job with the interior and exterior and with use of space. The pizza and the Caesar salad we started with were excellent. The artichoke dip had a good flavor but a somewhat watery consistency- totally forgivable. I was so excited for the cacio e pepe fries, but they were just ok- they were over seasoned and had competing flavors. The kids' menu has great options and their food was great. I started with a signature cocktail (spicy Paloma) which was a huge disappointment. It was mostly ice and not terribly tasty or strong- bummer at that price point. I ordered the spicy sausage pasta. I did love that the pasta dishes were all available gluten free. Although I normally wouldn't comment on the taste of pasta when it is GF, that was actually a highlight. The sauce, however, was nearly inedible. I love spice and can tolerate a lot, but the batch of sauce I had would have been a hard pass for most. I decided to dive in, but asked for a glass of Pinot to balance it out- after 35 minutes (and multiple asks), I gave up and got a box for the pasta. (Of course the wine came at the end of the meal - it was a great wine, for what it's worth, and I enjoyed the bit I had). We started out with the Cacio e pepe fries - I don't think we will ever go to Pigzza and not order them, so so good. We all went with pizzas: the Casper, the CBW, the Happy as a Clam, and the Meat me at Floyd's. they were all amazing. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
