Came here on 10/21/17. I haven't been to the Horseshoe casino is about 3 years so it was nice to check and see if it's like what I remembered. So after watching my boo lose some money and then win some money :-) My bae and I was super hungry and out of all the places to eat inside the casino, this place had the longest line so this was an indicator that the food is good. We waited in line maybe 10 minutes or longer. They have a small menu but a variety of things such as pasta and of course pizza. They have an option for you to create your own puzzle for about $13.99 or a specialty pizza. We chose the specialty veggie pizza. I am so glad that I did too. So after they put all the toppings on it, they run the unbaked pizza thru the oven and it's out within a minute or two and then you pay. I wasn't expecting much but I was quite please with how the pizza tasted. I just wish that it didn't take long to go through the line. Overall I would definitely be back because the pizza was so good. read more

The service was very disappointing. When paying I told the lady that I had a coupon "too" and she rang up two pizzas. When I corrected her she told me more than once that the mistake was mine and it took an unreasonable amount of time to get someone that could fix the register. To make things worse instead of giving out the pizzas as they were done they waited until three were ready before they walked the 10 feet to hand them to the customers. I wanted to communicate with you on the poor service I received. I entered the pizza line around 8:30pm and when placing my order of a meat lovers. Now, upon ordering I did state that I didn't want meatballs on the pizza & asked if she could add spinach. The young lady placed meatballs on the pizza so I asked if she could remake it. While remaking my pizza your host/waitress attitude completely shifted negative! As she was remaking the pizza I leaned forward to see what she was doing, I than asked if she could add more bacon the host/waitress attitude became very nasty with me. She raised her voice and state "I didn't know how much you wanted to add". After this I back down, not wanting a altercation. In the mist of this I added an order of wings. While waiting for my order I observed the behavior of the young lady & saw that she kept coming back and fourth in the back along with everyone else on the staff. When my wings were done she brought them to me & smirked which made me uneasy so I checked the wings. Of course physically there isn't anything wrong but I have a gut feeling that something was done in the back of the kitchen where it is out of sight. I am requesting that someone in upper staffing look further into this issue because it is a BIG ISSUE. If the young lady or ladies felt comfortable enough to do this to me because of POOR COMMUNICATION than I know it wasn't the first time nor will it be the last. The young lady that waited on me was short, dark skin with dark spots on her face, her hair was dark wavy and neck length. Beside her was a light skin young lady taller than she was. The cashier was the young lady Janae and there was another light skin young lady with a bush ponytail but was more of so in the back. This pizza place located in the Horseshoe Casino might be the best pizza for your money in Baltimore. Basically it's a chipotle style pizza place where you choose you're toppings, cheeses, sauces etc...Usually only takes less than 5 minutes for them to make the pizza and heat it up. My favorite is to get a feta cheese pizza. Now it normally costs about 11.99 but I never paid for anything since my comp points at the casino cover the costs of the pizza. Friendly wait staff. My favorite spot to eat at in Horseshoe Baltimore, and might actually be my favorite pizza shop in Baltimore. Its a chipotle style ordering style for pizza. I usually get their goat cheese with extra tomato sauce add mushrooms, sausage, and pepperoni. You will not be disappointed with this combo. They are open late too which makes it pretty convenient. read more

Visited Piezzetta this week during my first trip to the Horseshoe Casino. Wasn't looking to spend a lot of money on lunch, so I ventured into the Baltimore Marketplace (Food Court Area on the bottom level). Checked out the various food offerings and settled on a personal pizza. I went with the Breakfast Pizza (eggs, cheese, sausage, ham, butter, onions) on the Gluten Free Crust because I'm gluten intolerant. Unlike most gluten free crusts I've ate, this crust was crispy and tasty. My wife got the highrollers pizza. Both were cooked by the time we reached the register, which took approximately 2-3 minutes with a nice line ahead of us. The pizza was hot, fresh, with very fresh ingredients. Price-wise, it looks like your best bang for your buck in the casino. $9 for a cheese pizza, or $12 something for all you can eat toppings. Very reasonable for the casino. All in all, I gave the place 5 stars and will definitely go back again. read more

The pizza is delicious; the service SUCKS!! Today, we went there for lunch (around 1pm) and the line was out the door. The staff seemed unmotivated, disorganized and one in particular, "Tameka" was more focused on herself than the customers, stopping to talking to any co-worker who would listen. The gentleman in line behind us was in a poker tournament and only had 10 minutes to eat; he spent his 10 minutes in line WAITING for his food to be made. When she was asked to hurry up because our time was limited she staled even more and eventually left the station and did not return all while the line was out to door. She went to another station and when we got to that one, left our our pizza sitting on the oven spitefully. I was so disappointed by the service I asked to speak to the manager but to my dismay she was the person who filled in for the worker who was MIA and never asked her to get her work done. SMH...she was apologitic but appeared helpless to solve the problem. I am so disappointed in my experience today and will be sure to share this story every chance I get! I probably won't make it a habit to visit you Horseshoe location in the near future. There should be 2 people making pizza/ sandwiches and putting them in the oven, 1 person taking them out and preparing them for customers while another works the cash register. If the line is out the door...all available staff should work on making pizza and sandwiches until the line goes down. I seems pretty simple to me but I guess not to the store employees! read more

Can I just say that Piezzetta is legitimately the greatest of all time?! It's pretty much like Subway but for pizza & salad but 10000 times better! It's about $14 to do an unlimited topping pizza but it's worth the price. It's an artisan type crust which is great because you really get to enjoy the flavors of the toppings and not just a mountain of bread that you typically find at normal chain pizzerias. The only down side is that after a certain time (around 1am or so), they have a restricted menu where you can choose from like 4-5 different pies but that still doesn't change the amount of flavor that you receive. There's usually a crazy line but it moves fast and the food is definitely worth the wait! read more

Horseshoe casino has a bad wrap. I'm not sure where this negative perception comes from because I love the place. From the daily happy hours to the awesome entertainment offered center stage I think the casino is a great addition to downtown Baltimore. I've been to the Casino several times and though I love the slots and gaming options the individual build your own pizza in the casinos marketplace restaurant Piezetta is one of the biggest draws. As I mentioned, you can build your dream pizza with a range of offerings, however one of my favorites is always the Mediterranean; covered in crumbled lamb, with olives, peppers and some of the most flavor filled tomato sauce I've ever had. skip the larger restaurants at the casino and prepare to stand in line for a bit of pizza nirvana. read more

I'm a Horseshoe regular. Spend 3-6 days a week there. Usually the pizza is solid, but the staff has been gradually been getting slower, in multiple meanings of the word. As of writting I'm sitting in bed with some sick stomach pains after eating a simple wheat bread cheese pizza from here. I'm afraid to find out what end of me this thing is going to come up. Simply the best salads could be found here,Just go and try it.you get everything you need in a salad. The employees are wonderful except one miscreant. .Above all it's a wonderful place to get Salad. I am admittedly NOT a pizza fan..so when a friend suggested that we try this place out, I was a bit skeptical and was not sure if it was worth the hassle of going to the casino....looked at the menu combinations, created my own pie and wondered if it would be cooked enough since they stay in the oven a small amount of time...pie was DELICIOUS...a bit pricey..two pies and two drinks was $36 but I did do the afterbake of the fresh parmesan and it was fabulous..my companion said that he would not eat his entire pie and he did....by the time we left I had three slices left...thinking about it right now makes me want to go and get one....LOVE LOVE LOVE...the price is the only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five...staff was so friendly, helpful and nice with their recommendations of what combinations I might enjoy seeing as how I do not eat pork...Delicious pizza...HANDS DOWN! read more

My experience with piezzetta is the best the pizza is so good and delicious the young lady with the tattoo on her face she is so polite and respectful she knows how to talk to a customer always smiling but this young lady with the pink lipstick and messy hair she is so unprofessional she dont smile she seem rude and makes the pizza sloppy but this one lady man o man she is the best of the best her name is tyneka the one with the tatt omg her customer service skills are amazing she made 5 pizza for me at one time the meat lovers was so tasty and delicious and the margarita oh my gosh it's so good the basil in the oil it gives it the kick To the managers if i could i would give 20 stars. well it's always fresh the salads are always fresh and meatballs oh my god the first two meatballs are so delicious the croutons and the cheese is amazing but i have to go now i had to stop driving to write this review but tyneka is so kind and sweet she always smile and ask how im doing i also brought my family and she made there pizza they love her omg she brighten up a person day after losing money lol i donate to the casino .
