Listen. Is this pizza the best you'll have in your life? Probably not. But is it great and definitely good enough for a casino?! Yes!!! The late night hours are also perfect (actually, I believe it's open 24 hours). & get this. They have gluten. free. crust. Happy girl.

A pizza with everything

So I've been coming here for literally about two years it's probably the highlight of Horseshoe casino, which is a bad thing. But this place has great pizza. They stay open super late past 12 AM which is super awesome. The staff is hit or miss but who gives a butt because the pizzas always good don't know what ingredients they have it would be ideal for there to be another Pizzetta in Maryland, DC, Virginia I highly recommend.

It's well known for my friends and myself, if you come to Horseshoe be it for gambling, dancing, drinks and/or an event, you make time for pizza! I posted a pic of my pizza on social media and immediately a girlfriend commented on how dare I go to Horseshoe and get pizza without her. You can't beat the $13.99 price for unlimited toppings! Delish toppings at that! Artichokes, yes! Balsamic drizzle, yes please! Shaved parmesan...yum! Crust is crispy, yummy sauce and a lot of cheese. Pizza is ready in minutes. If you're in Horseshoe, make time for pizza! You won't be disappointed!

Very good pizza located in the Horseshoe Casino. Taste like brick oven pizza. Workers were pleasant in the actual place but the casino workers were rude & unhelpful. Will be returning!

This is the place to go for late night eats! Since it's in the casino, it's open 24 hours! Me and my girlfriends decided to trek here because I wanted some pizza, as per usual. They were only selling cheese and pepperoni, and considering I'm vegetarian I went with cheese. The line went by faster than I expected. $10 for a whole pie, not bad! But the ranch dipping sauce was extra... whack.

Bottom Line: Build your own, fast fire pizza which is probably the best food inside the Horseshoe Casino. Piezzetta is a small pizza place in the Horseshoe Casino's Marketplace Café (the food court) located on the ground floor. You can order a pizza off of their menu or build your own. A pizza with unlimited toppings is about $14 and the pizza is big enough to feed two people. The crust is think with a little bit of chewiness. There is a wide variety of toppings including about six meat toppings, ten-plus veggie options, a variety of cheeses and a handful sauces. The pizza is baked in a super hot oven in just a few minutes and it seems like the oven is seasoned and adds flavor to the crust. Piezetta a Pepsi soda fountain or you can just get a free Pepsi soda fountain drink on the casino floor. Better yet, grab a beer from B-mor Beers, which is also located in the food court.

Located in the lower floor of the casino in the food court area. The service here from my pizza maker was borderline bad and super unfriendly. But the pizza turned out great and the people that helped me after the pizza cutter and the cashier made up for the bad service I got from the girl making my pizza. The pizza was little more then I am used to paying for a make your own pizza place like Pieology but it was located in the casino so they probably had to raise there prices to survive. Pizza box was kind of flimsy and so were the plates but I almost ate all my pizza so it didn't really matter and I wasn't taking home leftovers. Overall, a great pizza but I just wished my pizza maker gave me better service.

Margherita Pizza

We've all had generic food court pizza that's served by the slice and has been sitting out for eons only to be reheated for a minute and served to you as a pile of mush. Forget all that, the pizzas here are thin crust individual sized (though two can easily split and I took half home) are made to order with large a variety of toppings that you choose or select one of their creations. They cook them in some special oven that only takes a few minutes. I had the margherita pizza which was very tasty and fresh without being greasy. They also add some ingredients like cheese, oil, species, etc. to your pizza after baking which gives it a unique taste. Even my Italian NYer wife approved of this place's pizza. It's a little expensive at $12-14 each but there's the casino markup and you get two meals from a pizza here. I could see the line backing up here a little if they're busy but it was fast when we ordered. This place is a must try for a quick meal and if this place had freestanding locations in DC I'd be checking them out.

On The Table: Veggie Pizza Tastebuds: For this to be a "create yourself" pizza place. The pizza was very good. If your a crust person, this is the place for you! Service: The service is extremely fast. By the time you select your toppings than make your way to the register. YOUR PIZZA IS HOT & READY! Vibe: This Piezzetta has an 1960 New York pizza parlor decor. Damage: $13

It was a Tuesday evening so there was absolutely no line which I've never seen before. LOL. Anyway I was at the Horseshoe for a career information session and once it was over decided to get a pizza to take home for my daughter and I. I love that they give you choices to build your own or creative and tasty options to choose from. I sent her a pic of the menu and she decided that she wanted Pineapple and Pig for her side. I got the BBQ Chicken for my side. The girl at the counter was pleasant and helpful answering all of my questions. I asked her about the after bake sauces and decided not to get them for either side. The cashier was friendly and greeted me as well. I'll always come back to Piezzetta. Again and again!

Build your own pizza! Lots of veggies, Spinach under the cheese, olives, banana peppers, red peppers, green peppers, mushrooms and chicken!

Last night was my first time having this pissed and it was delicious. I thought that people were just pumping it up, but these pies are tasty! I built my own, but I think I will try one of the inspired pizzas next time. It took me forever to decide what I wanted on my pizza. This place gets pretty busy after midnight and during the weekend, so your best bet to try it without a crowd is during the week. This place has the potential to be a 5 star, but I want to try some other pie's first. Definitely worth a try for anyone who has never had it, and definitely worth returning for those who have already experienced it.

When I did a search online, this restaurant received high reviews and had a lovely ambiance. I made reservations via OpenTable. When I made the reservation, I noted it was for my birthday. Upon being seated, I was given a handwritten birthday card. Our server was Christopher. He was knowledgeable informing us of the specials and offering a recommendation after my husband selected a particular glass of wine. Christopher started us off by providing us with complimentary bread. I ordered the lobster ravioli (half size) and my hubby ordered the chicken marsala with spaghetti. I enjoyed the succulent lobster and the flavorful sauce. My hubby enjoyed his entree as well. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate semifreddo which had chocolate mousse, cold brew gelato, white chocolate crema, and chocolate hazelnut crumble. Christopher brought it out with lighted candle and surprised me with a complimentary olive oil cake. Both were delectable and simply perfection. If I were at home, I probably would have licked the plates. Towards the end of dinner, Christopher didn't come to check on us as frequently, but I appreciated his thoughtfulness with the complimentary cake and his knowledge of the menu. I enjoyed the food, ambiance, and special gestures the restaurant made to celebrate my birthday.

Neither of us could finish our meals and didn't want to take seafood back to our hotel fridge. So if you get over stimulated easily (or just spent all day in an airport/plane) maybe consider something more low key.

Our server AJ took great care of us- they were funny, attentive and very friendly. For restaurant week the menu honestly was fantastic with many options for every person's palate and dietary preferences. I went with the octopus appetizer, squid ink bucatini with calamari, and a pound cake with lemon curd and mint whipped cream. Every single thing I had was delicious. The octopus was grilled perfectly and tender and the bean puree and potato paired nicely. The pasta was umami and not too tomatoey or acidic. My pound cake was tasty with the tanginess of the curd pairing well with the whipped cream. My boyfriend enjoyed his mushroom soup, his mushroom bolognese rigatoni( i tried this, I would absolutely order this next time)and a decadent chocolate tart. If you're reading this and they extended their restaurant week menu, go now and enjoy a fantastic meal.

We had two entrees of the Creamy Carbonara alla Sotto Sopra - a spaghetti with smoked bacon, egg, cream, and parmesan, one entrée of Cacio e Pepe -spaghetti with a creamy sauce made with just Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper, and one entrée of Alla Amatriciana - spaghetti with a rich sauce of pancetta, tomatoes, Pecorino Romano cheese, and black pepper, and a touch of heat from red pepper flakes. Each and every pasta dish was carefully prepared and presented and loaded with flavor. We all were in Italian heaven.
