UPDATE: I am happy to report that this dealer sent us a full refund for the $911 surprise addition to the car price, and by adjusting the purchase price back down to original expectation we got some tax & fees adjusted down also! Definitely buyer beware, but that is true at almost every car dealership... My husband went in person to purchase a used car they advertised online. He had to sign so many pieces of paper that he lost track. He wrote a check with the agreement that he would pick up the car the next day, which he did. However he drove it home (from Seattle to Port Townsend) without an actual bill of sale or purchase agreement. I obtained this the next day by email, some 3 hours after requesting it and found that he had inadvertently paid an additional $911 for (a worthless) protective coating that he had been told was included in the price and already on the car. It was NOT included in the advertised price, and he do his own calculation to add up the numbers to verify what he was told. But knowing they read reviews, I decided to write one, so that this can be used as an opportunity to learn and improve. 1. If a person asks how much for a vehicle, answer the question. Most dealerships start the negotiation process at this point. Pierre Ford just kept telling us how great they were. After we left, they called and emailed a few times asking us to come back. Yet when asked for a quote via email, they wouldn't provide one. This led me to reply, "It should be pretty easy for you guys to write up an offer. We don't want to come in again unless we know what that is." They never sent one, so we went elsewhere. 2. Don't talk shit about your competitors. This is an exact quote that was sent to me in email, "We are known to be better with our business compared to Sound ford; they're known for causing problems. Besides, we wouldn't be in business for 78 years if we did bad business." 3. After we already purchased from another dealer, I told one of the salespeople that when he called, his response was, "No hard feelings." Really? Do you usually have hard feelings towards someone who doesn't buy from you? 4. Don't mix up your customers. After telling them we bought elsewhere, I received a call during the recent December floods. The salesperson called to make sure I was okay after reading about the floods in some town he mentioned. Thanks for the call, except that I don't live anywhere near there. There are actually more things that annoyed me about this place, but I won't go into them. Be very careful when you contact the sales department at this particular Ford dealership. I was in the market for 3 Ford F150 Raptors. I made one phone call asking the manager if he had the vehicles I was looking for. We needed two regular Raptors and one raptor R and he did not have them in stock. I said thank you he, apologized, I said no need, it was a nice conversation! The next day I received a phone call from a girl who was nice but had no idea what she was doing. I explained to her what I needed and that I already talked to the manager and that I was in no longer in need of their help. A couple minutes later the manager called me back, said something about the fact that was talking to a new employee and that would take me off or whatever they call it, because I was no longer in need of their services. Two days later we went to Texas and we bought the three trucks we were looking for. Driving the trucks back from Texas took two days and both days we heard from this particular dealership. Again we explained that we no longer needed anything and that we were calling from California and we bought the vehicles in Texas. I was told my would be taken off the list. Fast forward three weeks and I have received five or six more calls, today's call was at 8:30 at night and then when I called the number back and the sales person realized he called me at 8:30 at night he hung up on me. Then I called the dealership and they ignored my call. Then I called back again and I talked to the person in charge, he's not a manager he's just the person in charge who told me that there was not a manager available but that he would take my name off of the calling list. When I started to tell him how many times I've been contacted he interrupted me and didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I even asked him why he's interrupted me and he said that he didn't want to listen to my story. If you're looking for a new car and if this is the dealership that you decided to do business with make sure you don't give them your real phone number because they will harass you for weeks and weeks after your visit. This was one of the worst online car-buying experiences I've ever had -- and I've purchased multiple vehicles online. I was working with sales representative Angel and finance manager James. I signed a proposal and submitted my credit application and driver's license in good faith to move forward with the purchase. When it came time to submit my down payment, I spent an entire day calling the dealership with no return calls. When I finally reached someone, I was told I would receive a callback, which never happened. The following day, I asked to speak with a manager to move the process forward and was met with a rude, condescending, and unprofessional attitude. I was then told the dealership suddenly decided they only wanted to sell the vehicle in-state. The sales manager falsely claimed that I did not have a down payment ready, despite never providing any method for submitting one. He further stated that he "didn't need my business," that I would not receive any service or oil changes from them, and that they preferred not to work with out-of-state customers. This decision was arbitrary, poorly communicated, and completely unprofessional. So I purchased this truck in October 2024. It had 61,000 miles on it and everything seemed fine. But after a little over a year the transmission had to be replaced, the rear main seal had to be replaced, the infotainment system glitches, now my rear window seal is leaking, my cab vents are leaking inside of the cab causing mold and water damage, the subwoofer has been damaged, and to top it off now my air dam motors need to be replaced. The warranty they sold me is awful. Cars Protection Plus is absolutely terrible. It takes on average about 4 days to get a hold of them. I called the sales manager to see about getting some help or compensation and he just said whenever you are ready to trade it in we will help you. Neat. As if I will ever purchase another vehicle from this dealership. Please beware very careful about this dealership. I feel like they knew that my transmission was faulty and that's why they pushed so hard for me to get that warranty. read more

Horrible customer service while purchasing a VERY expensive truck! My husband and I recently purchased a 100k+ truck (after he searched endless dealers for the one he wanted). While we were treated extremely kind by the salesman (he was gracious) the during and after portion of the transaction when dealing with the GM and finance manger, our treatment was sub par and below what anyone should expect from a transaction of this size. You'd think we had just bought a Pinto. There was ZERO respect and afterthought by these people. The GM spent 2 minutes with us and blew us off after negotiations. Didn't even bother to thank us for the purchase. He walked off and never saw him again. The finance manager was ill prepared and his numbers were off that I must have corrected him 3 times before he got his paperwork right. He was annoyed I caught it. The car had to be prepped before driving off and you would have thought we were asking it to be gold plated. They didn't have the second key or the manual and were told it would be mailed. Still nothing 4 days later (it should've been fed ex's overnight). We got offered NOTHING. Not even a lousy key chain. Still haven't even got an email or a call thanking us for our LARGE cash purchase. I could go on. We got better service and respect when we bought our Nissan. Will never recommend giving your hard earned money to these people. Go somewhere else where you'll be treated better or at least more respectfully. As a follow up we did receive a call from a office staff employe regarding the keys and book, which we did finally receive but more than a week later. When we were contacted she was more concerned with the portion of the review that mentioned the keys and book not being sent out. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy a car from bill pierre. Bought a used 2017 Honda civic with 68,000 miles from Bill pierre Ford. I should have known something was amiss when the dealer, Aaron, could not tell me any of the history of repairs made AT THE DEALERSHIP HE IS WORKING AT. he alerted me towards the end of negotiations that the car had been in an accident, so I took it for a test drive and it drove fine that day so I bought it. CUT TO FOUR MONTHS LATER. The car, still under warranty mind you, started having issues with the alternator. Every two weeks or so, I'd have to jump the car three or four times before it would start. I called Bill Pierre MANY DIFFERENT TIMES to get this issue fixed, but every single time they transferred me to the "warranty department", where nobody ever answered the phone and every single time it would just disconnect. The snake that sold me the car, Aaron, kept saying it wasn't his deal, he doesn't work with warranty, blah blah. I wound up having to go to a mechanic and spend an extra $650 on top of the $23,000 i already paid for the car and the warranty. Moral of the story: literally buy a car anywhere else, I will never buy another car from any Bill Pierre location and neither should you, unless you enjoy dishonesty and wasting money. read more

Updating my 5 star to a 1 star after trying to buy my second performance vehicle from this dealership. As a returning customer who had bought a Ford Focus RS previously, and have it serviced at the same dealer even though it's out of my way, Pierre was on the short list. I was interested in adding the new Ranger Raptor to my stable. I was met at the dealership by a young salesman, who I won't name in hopes he finds new employment somewhere else and doesn't bring anything he learned from Pierre with him. He was kind and excited to help me find one. He was eager to get me a good deal, even though most of the trucks had nasty dealer markups (70k on a 56k sticker). He said people are paying these inflated priced, and the trucks are hard to find. They had 9 on the lot because they buy up the inventory from other dealers. After test driving and settling that I did want one, I exchanged information as the color combo and accessories available were not on the lot. A week alter I saw they had one come in. It was stickered at 57k and marked at 63k on their website. I emailed immediately with the VIN and said I would be in that weekend to buy it. When I arrived I was greeted by George, the sales manager, and the young salesman's boss. He said he had all the info and directed me to sit down. He then brought the info for a DIFFERENT TRUCK! It was actually stickered lower at 55k, but markedup to 67k. I said this isn't the truck we were talking about. George said it's the only one they have. I showed him all the info I had from talking to them via email, so he leaves and comes back and says the sold it the previous day. I asked why the new truck with less options was now more expensive. George said, they lowered the price of the one I wanted to increase foot traffic and it sold the next day.... you know, these trucks that were demanding the higher prices. I said I wasn't interested. George asked, how can we get the deal done. I said I would pay 62-63k for the new swapped out truck. He said, ok sign here to this price, which I did. I was quietly fuming but decided this might be the only way to get the truck. George leaves and comes back with the full paperwork for tax title and license. Guess what? George marked the price back to 67k! I said what's this, this isn't the price you just had me sign for? He said, it's no deal, you have to pay this full markup. My wife and I just got up an left. As we were driving away, the younger salesman called me up and said where did you go, we can sell you a different model yet in a color I already said I hated for that original agreed upon price. I sincerely hope that younger guy finds employment elsewhere. George is a slimy human being and I believe what occurred is actually illegal. The BBB should investigate this dealership, and I can't believe this is how a dealership treats repeat customers. I'm done with them, and you should be too. Silver lining, I was able to find a Ranger Raptor in the spec I wanted for actual sticker elsewhere. I will be taking my RS there from now on as well. read more

I don't know if the problem is with the dodge service department, or if it's all of them? It would be easier for me to pull my own teeth, than to get someone to answer the phone. Classic bait-n-switch! It must be effective for them to do that, otherwise they'd be out of business - I guess there are a lot of stupid people out there. This was a used truck that has been sitting on Pierre Ford's lot since mid-July. Pierre Ford told us they'd reduce the price by $2K if we'd commit, blah-blah, then if we paid off the loan early, no penalty, we can pay off whenever, blah, blah, finance dude confirmed. Then we commit and they say they can't take X-amount off because of Blue Book Price, AND we had to make at least six-monthly payments before we paid it off in full! Then when we wanted to talk to someone higher, so they took us to stand at a bar and talk to him out in the open over all the noise - I said "no, we're going to an office". This dude, whatever his title was, said he couldn't knock $2K because of Blue Book price, then told us that we actually CAN pay it off immediately, but they ask that we don't so they could make a little extra money. How arrogant! Sorry, Pierre - no sucker here. WE WALKED! We then went to Bickford Ford in Snohomish. The salesperson, Branden, was very upright, clean-cut, and upfront about everything. Said we could pay it off the next day if we wanted, no penalty, no 6 payments so they can make money...none of the crap Pierre Ford did. And to top it off, sales tax up there was 1% lower! It was a used truck, and we got the bumper-to-bumper warranty almost $1k cheaper than Pierre quoted us. We didn't ask for anything off, but Bickford offered to give us a substantial amount off, which we took. While we were there, Pierre Ford texted me that an appointment was just made for 4PM with a person that was "very interested" in the truck, and if I wanted it, that I could drop by before 3:30PM and they'd "set me up". Then, when we didn't show, they texted back at about 5 or 6 PM that the person really liked the truck and was going to "think about it overnight" and I could still come grab it before him if I wanted it. I think it's pretty clear who the stupid party is in the above event. Folks, go to Bickford Ford and ask for Branden DuPen - you will be glad you did. I had a horrible experience with Pierre Ford dealership. I called them about a 2019 Shelby GT350R (white with black stripes) that has been sitting at their dealership since October 2022 and is still for sale. I live in San Diego so this was a remote purchase for me... I called them multiple times (along with my business partner) and agreed upon a price for the vehicle, pending a pre purchase inspection. We mostly dealt with Taylor in the sales department. After that, it was all downhill... at first Taylor offered to give me their inspection report for the vehicle instead of having an independent mechanic inspect the car... when I told him I wanted a pre purchase inspection done, he wanted me to have the inspection done at the mechanic shop of their choosing, Salmons Service (Red Flag #1). After going back and forth, Taylor agreed that I could choose the mechanic to do an inspection and he would take the car over for me. I then took the time to call a bunch of local mechanics and found one that would do the inspection but when I asked Taylor to take the vehicle for the inspection, he stated he would not because they had "other customers" who were looking at the car later that weekend, unless of course, I wanted to pay a $1,000.00 non refundable deposit to take it off the market.... I told them I wanted to see the car and get it inspected before putting down a non refundable deposit. I even offered to fly up to see the vehicle in the next 3-4 days and they still refused to hold the vehicle for me, even if I bought a plane ticket and was already in the air to come see the vehicle..... Seriously? No surprise, the alleged "other customers" didn't buy the car and it's still sitting on their lot. Demanding a $1,000.00 non refundable deposit before allowing an independent mechanic to do a pre purchase inspection and/or allowing the customer to look at the vehicle is a bad sales tactic... especially on a car that you have been trying to sell for over 4 months.. Huge waste of time and you should not trust this dealership. read more

I bought a used car here. Dealers are stereotyped as having less than transparent practices like hiding issues that could make customers want to negotiate on the price or having charges that show up after most of the paperwork is filled out. That would never happen at Pierre Ford. Honestly. I am telling the truth. For example, you won't experience that the salesperson will tell you one price, and then when they bring you a page to sign to agree to the general sales terms before proceeding, you won't find that the price is suddenly $1,000 more. I mean it. You can trust me. Really you can. I'm being honest. You won't experience that after you point out that the price of the car is now listed as being $1,000 more, they won't say that they were just mistaken earlier about the $1,000 lower price that was quoted. Then when you insist on it, they won't go away for awhile and then come back and apologize and say that they're sorry, you were right, they mixed up the stock numbers, and the cost actually is the lower price that was mentioned earlier. And since you won't have that experience, you will feel so great about signing that page that you (didn't) save $1,000 on. I'm really being honest about this. You won't experience that! After that happens, when you are later shown the CarFax report, you won't find that the value CarFax gives for the car you are buying is even $1,000 less than what you just agreed to. No, seriously! That couldn't happen. Next, let's say that you ask them to be flexible on the price. I'm serious when I say that the manager won't come, and the manager won't say that they are really competitive with their used car prices, and that they are basically selling you the car at cost, for the same price they bought it off auction for, and they won't say that if you negotiate, not only will you end up being there all day, but the poor salesperson who is only a college student will not even get their $50 sales commission fee. That never happened! Honest. Why would that happen? Next, if you get past all that, the thing that won't happen is that they won't have you wait for an hour for finance to prepare all the documents, and they won't then bring you to the finance office, where there's a big fancy impressive desktop tablet screen thing for you to sign all kinds of fancy paperwork on, and then present to you the options for you to choose from on service contracts. When they don't do this, they won't have all the options be expressed only in the monthly payment amount that the service contract costs. They won't NOT mention that you don't have to buy a service contract. They won't rely on you kinda being in a hurry now that you've been there all day, and its dinner time right now, and they won't rely on you deciding to just choose one of the options. I am really being honest. In this situation, they won't say that the service contract covers everything you can think of at the dealer. And you won't find that you bought a $5,000 service contract on a $20k car. And you won't have a service contract that is redundant with the car's manufacturer warranty, which already covers for the next 18 months. And you won't also find when you finally have the contract in hand after all this happens, that it doesn't cover any maintenance, and has all kinds of exclusions. For real, that's why this is a 5-star review. These things -not- happening is really why this review here exists. There's nothing -not- transparent about this review or dishonest. Like those things that dealers sometimes do. Finally, you won't find out that since you didn't ask about it, you are handed only one key to your new-to-you vehicle on the way out. A second key costs $350-$500 for most vehicles. So even though this may be the least significant thing about a deal, it could really top the cherry as they say. And that won't happen! You can trust me here. And when you later ask them about if they could double-check that there's not a second key, you can absolutely rest assured that the manager won't tell you that you really should have brought that up sooner, and that it's common for used cars to have only one key, and why did you not ask about this? Because of course why would you assume that a car came with two keys? And the manager won't say, "This is why we priced the vehicle so low; we take things like this into consideration and that it is a used vehicle." And you won't think about that CarFax valuation when she says this. I don't know why I quoted that just now. Since this is obviously all made up. But some dealers do these kinds of things. Just not this one. Honestly. Finally, if you press the issue a bit, I promise that you won't find out later that they actually do have the second key. So 5 stars to Pierre Ford for not doing any of that stuff. Or saying any of that stuff. Sometimes its the things that a dealer doesn't do, which is so refreshing and why you can rate them really high and trust them entirely. 5 stars! read more

Last Thursday, again, i took my F150 for service, oil,oil filter and air cleaner replacement for my 9am appointment..................Dean Webster and his assistant, greeted me at 9am, ushered me to the waiting room. showed me the coffee and where I can set and relax during the service. At 10AM my truck was ready and all detail was gone over and than I was on my way. I must not forget about the office employees..............they were like my flight attendants, so thoughtful and always available for any questions.... This Pierre Ford is the best........They show respect to all customers just like the airline business I am in. I've kept coming here for a few main reasons, one, thes guys hooked me up with a pretty sweet deal back in the day and I will never forget that. Please forgive me upfront for not remember the names of the employees that served me. I would like to acknowledge three folks that made an impact on my girlfriend and I as I shopped for my new car. The first would be the sales man. This purchase was an emotional one for me. I did not want to make it but had to because my car was totaled in an accident weeks before. This man understood where I was at and allowed me to express myself and my desires to replacement my car which I loved. The second would be the man who worked through the financing with me. The whole process, from when we got back from the test drive to when we drove away with the keys, took less than an hour. The salesman and the finance man worked together to make this as smooth as possible. He was kind and enjoyable to converse with while efficient in getting us done. The third would be the man who's desk sits by the vending machine. A little tongue in cheek here, but he served us well when he spoke up and told us that the best bang for our buck were the chili cheese Fritos because there is more in the bag then the other chips. All said and done, I started the car shopping experience frustrated for even needing to add a car payment in the first place. It's a frustrating place to be when I just paid off my other car in July. The sales manager, I think his name was Danny, was an absolute cheat. This guy fudged the number, I told him, can you give me 8% discount on the lease with 2.4 APR (MF) and this guy said sure after so much negotiation. Then comes up with a sheet with same numbers but the payment was way off. I literally asked him, can you give me a breakdown of this because the numbers don't match. There are literally two formula, and this is not what it should come to. Goes back to his desk, takes another 10 mins, then comes back and says the software does not allow him to give a break down but these are the numbers. When I told him, that I can literally break it down for him because the numbers are way off, he got irritated and said this is the software that we use in ford across all dealerships, so the numbers are correct and then said fine we don't have a deal. Absolute cheater, despicable ethics. I then got the car from another dealership, way up north. they were so nice and all their numbers were absolutely accurate. Please avoid this dealership, especially that cheater of a sales person. read more

This is quite literally the WORST possible car dealership - on the planet. Service here is horrible - they cannot even complete the most simple of tasks including a basic oil change. I have had my car serviced and returned two quarts low on oil and they could not figure out a basic tire rotation. In addition I had a couple of recall items needing attention - and they could not perform either of them as the parts were not available despite ordering them three weeks in advance. Finally the personalities in the service department are unfriendly, unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and it felt like I needed a shower after talking to these guys - it was just a bad overall experience and I will never return to this dealership for service. read more

More nonsense from this dealer. Bought car July 9. Still waiting for plates. They say they mailed them 8/21. You wait 6 weeks to mail plates? and on 8/31 I still don't have them? Then, the Car Fax you showed me did NOT show the accident this car was in, which Toyota showed me today while this 2 year old car with 9000 miles was being repaired. Interesting.
