I took my 12-year-old daughter for a piercing at the Manassas location on January 20, 2018. The experience seemed perfectly professional at the time, being required to present my ID as her mother, signing a permission form, selecting earrings, marking the ear, confirming that she liked it in the mirror, gloves on, cartridge removed from sealed package. We left with a very excited young lady. My daughter dutifully cleaned and turned her earrings as prescribed for 4 weeks, and we've had not one bit of trouble with healing. The problem arose when it came time to remove the earrings and try new ones. My daughter was having trouble finding her way through the hole, so I took a look. On closer inspection, I discovered that one ear was pierced at a downward tilt. The hole is nice and centered at the front, but comes through the other side at the bottom of the lobe. This is not acceptable piercing; honestly, how hard can it be when that's your business? I called the company, and found that they do not guarantee the piercing; what I purchased was earrings ($40) with a free piercing. They offered me a gift card to go back and have it done again, and since I did not wish to receive that compensation, I was simply out of luck. They'll register my complaint. This is not a good business. read more
