I spoke to Jess about what I wanted, and explained an issue I was having with a current piercing. Jess listened to all of concerns and about what I wanted for my new piercing. She didn't rush me and actually listened and gave me feedback. Then, in the chair I was. Before I knew it Jess took care of one of my piercings and then I had the new piercing I wanted. Jess had such a gentle touch and made sure I was comfortable. We even made some small talk during the short piercing process. Coincidentally on Biggie's death date I walked in for a booking after getting a haircut nearby. I met Austin, he's 22 but I was secretly calling him the 5 year old because I knew he was on the younger side. I'm 38. If he reads this review now he's going to know I called him the 5 year old. I showed him what I wanted and he booked me for the 22. On the day of the tattoo we only got the outline done but that is not Austin's fault, it's mine. I didn't know the tattoo was going to be so big and take so much time. I wanted to see the guy I'm seeing now (he was at my friend's house) and I had to run back to Baldwin to get my son from his father by 7:30. So Austin just completed the outline of the tattoo. I was going to schedule with him to come back for color but than I decided I'd like to have it colored in here and there by the two main artists I see regularly along with any other artists I encounter before it's all colored in for other work. So I probably won't be back to Notorious tattoo but my experience there was a good one and I can't complain about it. I also got a tank top on discount because I was getting tattooed that day and I appreciated the merch discount. I'll proudly wear the tank and maybe that will get one or two new clients their way. I loved Amanda's design that she created for the portrait I let her have free reign because I kind of give the tattoo artists leniency as long as they're basically doing what I ask for. I had a great time while she was tattooing me we vibed well together which is always a good thing when getting tattooed. We were able to talk and I was in a good position to watch the tattoo getting done because if I am able to I like to watch it getting done. I loved my tattoo she did a great job and I appreciated it so much. I don't know about the other artists here except my friend Nicole got one done by Amanda and Justin did a cover up for her and she was also happy with both tattoos.
