Came here in 2019 because my ex said this was a great shop... it's NOT! While I was on the table getting tattooed by an artist who no longer works there, the owner of the shop, Paul, turned blue and passed out. The girl he was hanging out in the back with (who I'm assuming was the dealer) came upfront, asked what happened, and then RUSHED out of the shop! The police came and administered Narcan TWICE because Paul overdosed on what the police said was cocaine. Scariest part was that he was getting ready to tattoo someone... can you imagine having an artist coked out of their mind doing tattoos on you? That's insane!! After that incident and my artist leaving for another shop, I never went back and always tell people to stay away because overdosing hasn't stopped him from doing it. If you want your artist to snort a line before doing your tattoo this is the place. Also, before my artist quit, he told me the Friday the 13th tattoos are bs and won't last long because they do 1 outline, so it's basically a scam. read more

If your planning on getting a piercing I DO NOT recommend coming here.... make sure you do your research before going to any shop. I had gotten my tragus pierced here which an older lady did for me, first thing she told me that I am only allowed to get pierced with a hoop (which is incorrect) ... second, during the piercing I was gushing blood (not just a normal amount of blood) it was a lot of blood she was even concerned. I had almost passed out and I have tons of pericings so this was very new and shocking to me. I've had this piercing for over a year now and it has yet to heal... I recently went to a DIFFERENT tattoo shop to have them look at it for me, and they told me that it was pierced WRONG, should not have bled that much nor be pierced with a hoop!!!!! read more

Paid him 400$ to do a tattoo at the end of May that still isn't finished . I've exhausted every effort to try and get an appointment to finish it . It was started way past 4am even though before starting I asked if he was ok to do said tattoo . Swore up and down he was alright and could do it . Kept going back and forth to the bathroom and came back nose dripping and red ... Acting super weird . For a man of his said expertise the part of the tattoo that was done should be immaculate. I ended up with an infection for weeks even with daily cleaning . I wouldn't recommend Paul for tattooing to anyone . I keep requesting a partial refund and get nowhere . This is a nice little tattoo shop not far from the Smithhaven mall. My friend and I went in for small tattoos after wasting nearly an hour of our time at a different shop down the road. Horrible I got a tattoo of an elephant on my foot was suppose to mean a lot to me...my grandma who passed away loved elephants and collected them so I wanted a elephant on my foot to remind me of her. The elephant looks like it's taking a dump the tail is a square not a normal elephant tail...the feet on the elephant are horrible don't line up straight, the elephant looks so angry has no eye and weird sqwiggles on it and not what I wanted at all...this tattoo is just embarrassing. read more

My friend and I dropped in, each for a walk-in. She had her ears pierced and I got a tattoo. I first called them to see if they were available after another shop turned us away and they answered the phone right away and were super friendly. Then when we arrived they took us both right away. My friend's ear piercings came out beautiful and for my tattoo, John wrote it out for me (the picture I showed was more of a sample so it had to be drawn out) and then gave me different size options to see which one I liked best. He did an amazing job and was very patient with me. Very clean shop and my tattoo came out beautifully, I am OBSESSED with it! I couldn't be more happy with my experience! read more

I don't understand how this place doesn't have a 1 star rating. Went here for a Friday the 13th tattoo. Was unprofessional, disorganized, and studio was not clean, food everywhere. Paid more because I wanted a different design, didn't even shade it like it was in the photo?? Paul messed up the numbers, maybe that's because he was focused on the shitshow that was going on in the waiting room and answering phone calls and arguing with coworkers... etc etc the list goes on. Then he had the nerve to ask me when I was coming in to do a sleeve.. I had to laugh. Are you kidding? If you can't do a simple tattoo without messing it up what makes you think I'd allow you to tattoo me again? Horrible quality tattoos, and I'm not talking about just the Friday the 13th tattoos. Do not go here. Any professional tattoo shop would not rush people out the way they do. Where do I start. I left a google review and instead of being understanding and owning up to their wrong doing, they completely disregarded my emotions and defended themselves. They pierced me wrong. There were questionable cameras in there but honestly at this point the more important message to get across here is that I could've ended up with a huge issue had I left the piercings in. Too deep, and the bar was too small. Multiple other piercers said it was wrong. Multiple. Clockwork had the audacity to blame this botched up piercing job on me saying my arms tensed up. My arms tensed up because the piercer was way way off. Like, COMPLETELY off. She entered so far from where she should've. I recommend LIBERTY TATTOO OF SMITHTOWN or AMULET ARTS OF PATCHOGUE . Trust me on this one. Liberty re-pierced the right way for me. The piercers name is Val and it was $10 less than clockwork. You don't have to waste your time or money here, there are better and safer options. read more

Went there for Friday the 13th tattoos. There was a long wait which is a given, obviously. The female tattoo artist randomly grabs a sheet of paper from the middle of the stack which isn't how it was supposed to happen. It was a shit show, zero customer service. It was my first tattoo and he doesn't even tell me how to take care of it. Instead he gives a stack of cards to pass out to the crowd of people in the waiting room. He stops in the middle of a tattoo to answer the phone, talk to other people about their price for their tattoo. I wish I could give it zero stars. So today we had a 1:00 appointment for 4 people to get tattoos. We pulled up at 1:00 and the doors were locked. We waited. Called the number on the door and they said they were sending someone over. After getting in contact with a friend who went to this tattoo place, the friend offered to call the owner. The owner said he would get there within 20 minutes and never showed up. At 3:00 we finally left and went to Cliffs Tattoo in centereach. They took us right in and did a beautiful job on all tattoos. This was a very important tattoo as it is in honor of our family member who passed away two weeks ago. I would not recommend going here because they were very inconsiderate to my time as we wasted two hours sitting in the car. read more

The inside of this place has a great atmosphere. Instead of one big open room with a bunch of chairs, there are individual rooms so there is a huge level of privacy. At the time I thought Paul did good work until I did some research and found what good work was. He did sleeve on my left arm. I am now in the process of getting the whole arm done over. He blows out outlines and does horrible detail with shading. Left scars as well. I found pepe at the tatto shop and never looked back. i went here to get my nose jewelry changed and my second ear peircings. really simple i thought. NOPE the women that was piercing me dropped one of my original nose studs on the floor. then she couldn't even get a simple ring in my nose. after two attempts and pretty much starts jamming it into my nose hurting me. she says she can't do it. i asked can you try one more time i mean really it should be a 10 second fix she proceeds to jam it into my nose and asked does it hurt? i tell her yes and she continues. then one of the guys who works there she has him try. as well as her does the same thing then asked where i originally got my nose pierced which was done by another tattoo shop and has changed them easily. he says they didn't pierce it right that's why they can't do it. seriously? then she does my ears she spaced it so far apart from my original simple earlobe piercings. and then they both proceed to look for my jewelry they dropped on the floor like i want that back in my nose after being on a dirty floor. again wtf??!!! luckily the only smart thing they did was give me a refund of my money. also they don't honor their promotions from their instagram and try charging you full price unless you open your mouth and say something and they don't even believe you until you show them. never going back there again read more

Worst experience. I went in for a piercing, and came out with nothing but a bloody ear. He never introduced himself, didn't put any thought into the placement. Once he sat down, he didn't get up. He attempted to pierce from a chair over. Never gave me a warning, then when he had the needle in something was obviously wrong, I felt him twisting and poking again. When he pulled away I looked in the mirror, and there was no jewlery. I asked what happened and he said the clamp slipped. I work in an operating room, these are surgical insruments. They don't slip unless either A-they are broken, and you shouldn't be using them or B-you don't know what you're doing, and you shouldn't be using them. Then he says we can try again if you want. And I asked if the excessive trauma to the tissue would cause scar tissue or keloids, and he had no answer at all. I'm sorry but if it's too much of a strain to stand up while you do your job, then you shouldn't be doing it. read more
