I had a vision of what I wanted done as a tribute to my sons and from my initial inquiry through the finishing touches they helped me bring it to life. Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. South Shore has my highest recommendation and has definitely won a repeat customer with me. Can't wait to do it again.

Visit Date: February 9, 2020…read more So I followed Marc Salerno (like he was my favorite musician) to this tattoo shop because I loved the tattoos he did for me when he was at space ace and I currently need tattoos for happiness so I've booked appointments with him until May with more to follow because I am getting an arm sleeve and than maybe more tattoos down my spine after that. The tattoos shop itself reminds me of someone's comfy living room with a tattoo shop inside. I'm also able to bring my son with me which is a plus especially because the appointments I have are during a time where I'm not sure if I could get anyone to watch him. For this recent visit Marc tattooed an open book on my arm. This is the second tattoo that's on my arm sleeve, I already had a black rose with a red ribbon on it from years ago. Marc is amazing, we have a good tattoo artist/tattooey vibe going on and he seems to be able to figure out what I'd like before I've completely figured it out. I'm not sure if he does that for all his clients but I can say that for myself. So I'm definitely impressed with East End Tattoo and if you're going to get an appointment here definitely book with Marc if you can. On the same day, Kenny also tattooed a beautiful ankle bracelet with an evil eye. Their work overall is distinguished and beautiful. I am giving a four rather than a five for lack of response to a follow-up email to Ian and Kenny. It has been three weeks (the appointment was on 1/6/23, and the last email was sent on 2/4/23). Kenny said if I had any issues with my tattoo, to reach out, which I did. My pupil has a slight fade, so when I reached out, it was to add a bit of color to the pupil. Neither artist gave me the courtesy of returning my email, which I find disappointing. Why offer the opportunity to reach out when you ignore any communication from the customer? Due to the lack of response, I am taking it personally and guess that they no longer want us as a customer for their establishment for additional work. I feel sorry for my son due he expressed having Kenny continue working on his arm. Unfortunately, that is no longer an option. Now we have to find a new artist due to the catfish/ghosting from Amity Irons.

Wasn't able to go back to change out the bar bc I tested for Covid this am and had to remove it myself. Also, their sterilization pouches weren't appropriately sealed so while the clamps and hemostat hadn't been touched until opened, they weren't technically sterile. Shoulda said something but it's too late now. Waste of $$ on the piercing.
