Welp. I have to write this review and I REALLY REALLY didn't want too. But I went in for a tattoo about a year ago I'm in my early 20's not even out of college, and I was going through a rough period of my life. I never had a tattoo before and I showed up to the appointment clearly high (on Xanax) but the artist went through giving me a large tattoo on both of my hands. woke up the next day immediately regretting the decision and now have to under go painful laser removal because it is already affecting my career since graduated. I just wish the artist said "no." After talking with friends who are covered in tats most artists would never tattoo the hands as a first tattoo, so yes I did get what i asked for but I now wish I would have gotten it anywhere else like my arms All in all very unsatisfied wish this place had better guidance for new customers. read more

I went in to get a tongue piercing, and although this was my 6th piercing, I was a kinda nervous cause the tongue is a bit different. I did some research first on the piercing, and on shops nearby that have done good tongue piercings. Anyway, I went to Nicole, and I felt like she was experienced. Im writing this a week later and my tongue is healing good, the placement of the piercing looks good and feels comfortable, and I'm glad I went here over a different shop. Visit Date: March 16, 2020 So when my job shut down and I figured the tattoo shops might be shut down soon because of the COVID, I contacted Marc my regular tattoo artist and asked if he could squeeze me in for a tattoo I was supposed to get a week later. He said he could as long as I went to patchogue so off I went with my son in tow. East End Patchogue and East End in West Babylon are fairly similar. It's a tattoo chain and it seems the owner keeps the shops with similar furnishings and a similar layout. I don't know how things will be when I come back on July 11 to either Patchogue or Babylon for my next post COVID shutdown tattoo shop visit. As usual Marc worked pretty quickly. The pieces I get from him tend to be on the small side as well. I was impressed because he had my son poking at him and still managed to do a pretty good tattoo. A good tattoo artist can do a quick tattoo for a mom while her child is poking at them, that takes talent lol. In short I like both shops and will be visiting them semi-regularly as long as my regular artist is still working there. read more

I recently got a tattoo from an an artist at the babylon location and had a slight issue with it. The owner Jon reached out immediately and offered to redo the tattoo for me. After meeting with him he totally knocked the tattoo out of the park and went above and beyond to make it look awesome and detailed. He over exceeded my expectations and was super cool to work with. Stevie is the best! My girlfriend went to Utopia a few days ago to buy a new nose ring. One of the piercers up-sold her on a gold hoop earring that was too small for her nose and then argued with her when she said it felt too tight. It was too tight. I became infected and swollen. Thankfully Stevie was able to easily fix the problem. She was calm and professional. She took the old one out, had to re-pierce it, and then put in a new appropriately sized ring. Such a great experience from everyone in the shop. Stevie is your girl if you need a piercing, or to fix someone else's piercing mistake. But, save yourself the mistake and make Stevie your first stop. read more

I walked in with my 16 year old daughter today to get her nose pierced. I was told that I, her mother who had ID but was never asked for it, needed a notarized signature in order for them to pierce. I actually am a notary but since I am not an attorney I don't walk around with it and have never needed it. The girl was nice about it and referred me to the Chase bank up the road but when I drove there they reported there is no notary on premises there. More wasted time. Is everyone issued this odd mandate? It was a complete waste of my time to have to walk out with nothing despite being the consenting legal parent of the child requesting this simple service. Worst of all, this notary rule isn't listed on their website nor was it mentioned when my daughter called. Update: I appreciate the owner's prompt response (accept for the inaccurate slander accusation) but doubt that Suffolk County health law is common knowledge for most. This law was not stated by any worker to me either which would have been helpful. I hope in the future it is specified on the website and on the phone so no one else wastes his/her time. Had a bloched tattoo done by Brandon Santangelo. Had many red flags coming in. Brandon was very disrespectful and rude. Owner was friendly and offered to fix the tattoo but I was ghosted after the first session to fix the outlining. We agreed on a flat rate, I tipped very well (30%+), and was very respectful throughout the whole ordeal. I put up a negative review after it all blew over which was removed because the owner flagged it as fake. After a reddit post I made about the shop- I got a reply/DM from Brandon saying he did not finish my tattoo on purpose despite saying we were done on the second session because he believed I was fussy. This made me very disappointed choosing this shop. Avoid this shop. I was also threatened action by the Owner. He wouldn't stop harassing me through IG messages too. He lost my respect after that. read more

Honestly I'm extremely disappointed and honestly enraged, although everyone was very kind and seemed professional; I got a Tragus piercing that became a nightmare. Despite taking proper care of said piercing I was forced to have it professionally removed today after 2 months of trying to figure out what I must be doing wrong, turns out the piercing was BOTCHED! Piercing was done at the wrong angle, equipped with the incorrect jewelry causing keloids to form. I've received better piercings from a single room shop with 1 employee. Piercer Stevie needs to go relearn her craft. read more

Came here because after I had my daughter, I removed my tongue ring. I had it originally pierced for 5 years before taking it out. Anyway, the original hole wasn't completely closed I just couldn't get the ring all the way through so I came to ask them to use a needle to open the hole back up & put new jewelry inside. The girl who did it was really nice don't get me wrong ; but she shouldn't of been piercing me. She seemed so inexperienced with piercing. She was shaky, she marked my tongue with a HUGE blue cross covering most of my tongue, so was struggling to see what she was doing, the clamp wasn't on tight enough on my tongue, I could feel it. She pierced a whole new hole in my tongue about an 8th of an inch closer to the tip, away from the other hole. I've never been in more pain. And I have had so many piercings, so I'm not new to this. I've done 3 piercings on my ear on both sides, my Monroe , nose , tongue, belly button... I've had a lot , plus tattoos & never before felt so upset. They were all nice employees for the most part, but she shouldn't of been the one to pierce me what so ever, I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here for that. I just don't understand how she could go so far from the original hole, so so so mad . read more
