I got a tattoo of a simple EKG on my wrist yesterday and not only did the artist tattoo the wrong shape on my wrist the line work was terrible. An EKG is supposed to be a series of specific lines that make up a heart rhythm. When he drew up the picture the lines were crooked and nothing like the picture. When I asked him to straighten the lines he reassured me that they would look just like the picture. Instead he tattooed the crooked lines that he drew despite what I said. He also made the line work choppy and inconsistent. He was condescending when I asked him to straighten the lines and when I called earlier that day he assured me all of the artists were great at line work. He cared more about collecting the money than giving me a tattoo that I'll have for the rest of my life. As soon as it heals I'm getting it touched up somewhere else. Don't go here if you want to fine tune the tattoo they draw up because they only care about what they want to do. They care more about getting paid than making permanent quality tattoos. read more

Be aware!!! Not clean at all! Both my daughters got piercings, swelled for more than a week then went back & was told it was swollen still. A piercing shouldn't be swollen for more than a week rather more than two! Went to the Doc & was told they both received staff infections! Doc also said impossible for two different people to have the same issue. I should've known they were not meeting up to the health code when you have a sign outside that says no smoking inside yet it smelt like smoke & because they only want cash - why so there's no paper trail!! If you sign a waiver these "professionals" should be more sterile in every aspect of a tattoo business. Enter at your own risk and I'm definitely contacting the health & better business bureau! read more

I have 9 tattoos (the 9th one I got here) and I must say, this was the most sanitary tattoo place I got a tattoo in. Everything they use they open in front of you, they use gloves and throw away right after use. The customer service is great and the guys are super friendly. I just walked in to get a touch up on a tattoo I got 3 weeks ago. I was in and out in 10 minutes (small tattoo I had). There were no problems at all. If you are to get a big tattoo, it seems that appointments are needed but I just got a small heart on my inner wrist and they just took me as a walk in. I will definitely go here when I am ready to get my next tattoo! read more

Mom and I decided to get matching tattoos. She's never been tattooed before.. I'm a veteran. Someone had told her about Long Island Ink and when we called on a Saturday afternoon they said they could take us right away. The place was awesome ! I got both my piercings done here (belly & nose) I will never go anywhere else but here. They are so clean & sanitary. All the equipment they use is opened right in front of you so you know they're sanitized. They are So quick & little to no pain at all. I've heard horror stories about friends getting piercings other places and how it hurt them or them getting infected. Both my piercings were done perfectly & I had no pain what so ever.
