John's prices are unbeatable for piercings and do 2/$40 deals as well as sales on tattoos often. The entire staff here is super talented and the place is really clean. My friend and I came here for piercings. She wanted to get a helix piercing and the person at the front desk told us they could do that. Then she got to the back and the guy doing the piercings told us that he wouldn't do that for us because "the guy down the street charges $85" (whatever that means). She politely said that the person at the front desk told us that they could do this and he yelled at us "Get out, I'm not doing it" I ended up deciding not to get anything either due to this treatment of my friend. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went in to get a tattoo and when I wanted to change the size ONE TIME, John got extremely mad and started cursing at me and my sister who I had brought with me. He was completely inflexible and refused to do the tattoo stating "i'm getting pissed off" because I wanted to change what would be on MY BODY for the REST OF MY LIFE. I walked out in tears because of the utter disrespect and rudeness I just experienced from someone I was going to give my money too. I am not one to leave reviews of any kind but this was just such an exceptionally bad experience that i wouldn't want anyone to go through! Additionally when removing the stencil he was the farthest thing from gentle, he scratched at my arm with a tissue damp with rubbing alcohol. John had a horrible vibe from the start and only further proved himself to be a bad person. I cannot say it enough if you want a nice and accepting tattoo artist DO NOT GO HERE! John is intolerant and an outright a**hole! Update: Moments after I published this review i received a nasty direct message to my instagram account saying I left an untrue review. Yes this place is very clean but they are way too overpriced and do not take their time. This was 100$ for just an outline, no shading, no color and the soze was pretty small. My original artist unfortunately is a very busy artist so i impulsively went to this place and was not happy with it at all. read more

Got my nose pierced and. It began to sink into my nose! Everyone told me I needed a bigger stud. I went back expecting them to change it and John just told me to stick tissues up my nose.. I went home and did it, although I didn't think it would work. And like I thought, it didn't. So now I'm not sure if I need to remove it or get re-pierced or go somewhere else. But sam, the tattoo appreciate is amazing!! 10/10 would recommend and I hope she finds a more reliable shop soon! read more

My coworkers and i tried to get friday the 13th tattoos and obviously its well known that there is a very very long wait. We definitely came prepared for this wait , we sat patiently for about 5 hours eager and happy to get closer to being tattooed. Inside, the receptionist named Greg asked is where we were on their list. We told him and he then told us it'd be just one more hour of waiting. Greg recommended that we grab a bite to eat. 10 mins later we walked up to Johns tattoo only to find Greg calling a number far after ours. We confronted the receptionist, telling him that we were just gone 15 minutes at most. Greg had our names crossed off , but he assured us that he would add out names back to the list. Relieved, we waited about an 30 more minutes. Greg called a number that one of us recognized was passed ours, so we again confronted us. Greg assured us we were next so , we waited. Greg then called the number we recognized was long after ours. He also walked to the back ignoring our calls , saying that he was trying to rid of people. We understand we were called when we left , but why put us back on the list only to skip us in front of everyone who heard us ask when we were going to be called. We feel extremely humiliated, and discriminated against. If you do go to Johns Tattoo, i would recommend that you maybe not be a minority. We cant find any other reason for what occurred tonight. We waited outside in the cold, standing. We could've been home. Extremely disappointed in the service. The one star is because i have to rate the place to post this. read more

I've gotten my nips pierced over the summer and now my nose. This place doesn't have great reviews but I haven't had a problem with them. For $45 for nipples and $25 for my nose, it's really cheap and they get the job done. I have no complaints and my piercings are fine. read more

I usually dont write reviews but fuck it!! .. first time getting my nipples pierced I was so scared. And was looking for a female..but for some reason decided.to come here and I dont regret it.
